Pretty well. I spoke with Jose for a quote and he came out the same day. Although the price was much higher than I had planned, Jose and his large crew came out soon after I signed the contract and completed the work satisfactorily. Two other companies I called never followed through. J&R Chavez Landscaping LLC did what they said and did it right. Although the price was much higher than I planned, I believe that with some regular maintenance on my part, I wont need to have more work done for a while.

Mr. Chavez was excellent to work with. I initially contacted him for an estimate, thinking someone from the company would be able to make it to the house by the end of the week. However, he showed up the same afternoon with another gentleman. After giving us a GREAT price, Mr. Chavez and his partner mowed our lawn within 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend using this company to everyone!

Mr. Chavez's team did an excellent job cleaning up our property. The crew was hard-working and the foreman ensured the job was complete to his satisfaction before payment was made. Will definitely work with this company again.

Mr. Chavez and his team came to complete the job at the time we agreed upon. I was concerned because it had rained and the ground was soft and wet. I was assured that it wouldn't be a problem. The work was done well. We really appreciated the trimming of the shrubury and cutting back of the branches. Especially notable was their ability to clear and clean the patio which had a serious overgrowth of weeds and moss. We would use this service again.

J&R Chavez is a very professional and detailed landscaping company. I set up a meeting with Jose Chavez to get a quote, which was very reasonable for the amount of work we had to have done. After interviewing three other landscaping companies in the area, we decided to hire J&R Chavez Landscaping. The day the work was to start, April 6, 2016, the gentlemen in the crew not only SHOWED UP ON TIME, but they looked professional and were very polite. These gentlemen worked tirelessly for two days. They removed four huge truck loads of leaves, pine needles, old mulch and yard debris. As they removed the debris, they would edge each flower bed, trim the bushes and remove the weeds. Once this step was complete they would lay the new mulch. On the second day it was raining, however, once again, they showed up on time and began to work. Late that day, I had a question about the scope of work and called Jose Chavez for clarification. Without question, he came to the job site to discuss my concern, which was easily remedied. We gladly paid Mr. Chavez and his crew for their impeccable work and would absolutely hire them to do work for us again! It is nice to know there are still honest, hard working, professionals available. Mike and I would both like to thank each and every one of these gentlemen for a job well done!

Mr. Chavez met with me on Sunday afternoon 03/13/2016. His manner is patient and thorough. He walked my property, evaluated its condition, and reviewed my list of wants. It was only then, he shared his suggestions based upon his experience. How rare - a landscaper who truly listens! The cost of the services I chose are my than fair. By Monday evening, 03/14/2016 the services were completed! Awesome.

It was outstanding. I plan to use them again. It was a fairly expensive deal but I was really happy with what they did.

The work was done on a rental home, the provider provided before and after pictures of the project. The estimate was completed as planned and the work was completed when promised. I would recommend definitely recommend the provider's services. The provider responded well to phone calls and requirements to the project. Thank you.

They did a great job! It took them two days to remove the tree and the very large stump. All the debris was removed and the yard looked great when the work was complete. Mr. Chavez and his employees do great work. This was the second landscaping project that he has done at our home.

My husband injured his leg and was unable to mow the lawn. I contacted Mr. Chavez on a Saturday and he was able to fit us in the same day. A team of 3 showed up and had the front and back lawns mowed in about 40 minutes, and that was because the grass was pretty high. That included edging. We were both very pleased. Mr. Chavez is super professional and his team works hard and fast. I really can't remember how much we paid, but i know it wasn't more than $50 and we were so impressed, we gave them a pretty good tip.

They were very good, they were both prompt, good quality and good value for the price.

I have a large year with 10 garden areas. Mr. Chavez came and provided an estimate within 48 hours of the call. His team showed on time and stayed until until the job was finished. He and his team were accepting of my participation and always asked for extra clarity in places where a mistake could easily be made. In addition, I asked that a few extra tasks be performed and any extra expenses were immediately, easily and fairly worked out. I subsequently recommended them to a friend who was also very pleased with their work

The mowing was very average. They did do a good job on the mulching and weeding in the spring. My issue is there billing is not organized/professional and their communication and follow-up is lacking. They need to work on the communication and customer service side of the business. Does not appear organized. They are honest though.

It went okay, their prices were high. He just pretty much just did measurements and did the estimate, he didn't offer any suggestions or alternative method or anything. He gave me a quote that day, like when he was here.

It went very well. They had a very prompt response. The workers were very courteous, they cleaned up after themselves, and just did an outstanding job. I really like the work that they completed.

Mr. Chavez was recommended to me by several others who had used him. I contacted him and made an appointment for him to come out and give me an estimate. He was responsive and made an appointment for the same week. He showed up for the appointment on time. He walked the properties with me, making suggestions about what we could do. He promptly sent me a written estimate that covered everything that we discussed. The price quoted was far less than others from whom we had received quotes for the same work. When I contacted him to do the work, he promptly scheduled the work for the next week. The day before he was scheduled to begin the work, he called me to let me know that he would be there. When I got home the day the work was to be performed, both yards were done exactly as we had discussed. I plan to use Mr. Chavez for all of my landscaping needs. As an added bonus, Mr. Chavez is very nice and a pleasure to work with.

Mr. Chavez was delightful to work with from start to finish. Very professional, prompt, pleasant and practical. He did some of the work himself and also had a crew of several persons in to promptly finish the job. The price was very reasonable considering the scope of work (it was a LARGE area). He guaranteed the plants for a year on top of doing a great install job. Given how dry it has been this summer, he followed up the job by having people stop by to water after the install.
