Description of Work: I already rated this company as poor. In the less than three months since they finished the work -- posts are splitting and paint chipping. Top rail appears to be pulling away from the house. When I brought the issues up to the company, I was told that they would contact me within two days. Like their previous MO, no call back. I am glad I didn't hold my breath. Next step is a complaint to the MD Attorney General's office and BBB.

Description of Work: In the process of selecting a company to roof our house, “Honest Exteriors” was one of 7 companies that made our short list, based upon our friends and neighbors experience. We interviewed all 7 companies and chose Honest Exteriors because their estimate was reasonable and from the start Mr. Joe Vandaniker, their representative was prompt, informative, professional and sensitive enough not to push for a close rather than continue with a hard close as all others did. This was a point in his and the company’s favor as we did not intend to roof until 6 months later. The roofing crew was punctual and efficient. They worked practically non-stop from the time they came, early in the morning until about 7h30 pm. They were careful not to damage our flowers and shrubs and cleaned thoroughly all the scraps and nails. The job was finished in 1 ½ days under the attentive and close supervision of Carlos, the site manager. It was an added bonus that Carlos spoke English fluently thereby eliminating misunderstandings and potential problems. We felt we didn’t have anything to worry under Carlos’ efficient supervision. He even took the time to show me what needed to be changed, such as rotten boards that was not included in contract. We are very pleased with the job and highly recommend Honest Exteriors to anyone seeking a roofing company.

Description of Work: I had three estimates on the jobs I was looking to have done. Honest Exterior's sales rep. (by far) had the most knowledge about roofing, siding and windows. Combined with their guarantees, prices and time frame, is the reason I chose them. They did everything they promised in a timely matter. I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors for all their home improvement projects.

+ -1 moreThey came to do the estimate several weeks ago. The salesman, Mr. Joe Vandaniker, did promise that it would be installed late September to early October. When they called for the install date, we were given a Friday day of installment. We requested if it could be done on a SAturday, which they gladly complied. Although they said they'll be here by 7 am, they did not get in until about 8am. During install, they noticed that the base of the wood was rotten and they replaced it. We were very satisfied with the completion of the work they did. The installers were very professional. They cleaned after themselves. They also showed how the the different locks worked in the sliding door that they replaced. The product seemed of great quality. We would definitely use them again for any future home exterior work.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced patio sliding door.

+ 0 moreAbsolutely fabulous!!!! We were extremely satisfied with Honest Exteriors. Rick ensured the men were onsite to do the roofing initially and then the gutters and lastly the shutters. This is an amazing company to work with. There was a team each day ensuring our yard was clear of any debris and on the last day of the job, the men went around with a metal device ensuring all nails were picked up. I believe we may have found one or two. We were so proud of the looks of our home as it is well over 40 years but looks amazing with the new materials used on our home. We highly recommend Honest Exteriors as you will not be disappointed in the professionalism that Rick shows when he is working with you to give you the best estimate on high quality materials that he recommends. He has many years in the business and has the contacts in which to buy the materials which creates a better price for the customer. We had three (3) Roofing Companies come out to give us an estimate. No one could provide the type of materials at the price we were willing to spend except Honest Exteriors. Rick stopped in every day to see if we were satisfied which made us feel that he really cared whether we were pleased how everything was going. Please give Rick a call at Honest Exteriors before you call anyone else.
Description of Work: We had the shingles, shutters and gutters replaced on our home and separate garage with architectural shingles.
