Stone Action

I just want to say how much we love Stone Action. They were knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly patient with us during the whole process of picking out granite for our kitchen remodel. I would say throughout the remodel process they were my favorite company we dealt with. We live in NOVA, but our contractor and granite fabricator mostly work out of MD. This required us schlepping to various granite warehouses up to an hour away with our toddler in tow. We visited Stone Action three times before making a decision. Each time I didn't have a babysitter line up so my little guy had to come along. They never lost patience with him running around the warehouse and distracting me looking at slabs. I must have asked them to move a half a dozen slabs for me and they did so without compliant. On our last visit they helped my husband plot out how the granite would be cut with painters tape on two different slabs. We must have been there for at least a couple hours debating slabs. The woman at the desk was wonderful and turned on a cartoon movie for my little guy and even watched him while I went back in the warehouse to compare slabs. She even told us about Thomas the Train Day coming up soon in a nearby town. On one visit I even forgot all my cabinet and flooring samples and they were waiting for me when I returned that following weekend without even me calling to ask! They also gave me the largest samples I had ever seen to take home. Their website is awesome too. As for my granite, I am quite happy. Although it was not my first choice it is quite beautiful and many people comment (including the contractor) that they are shocked it was only a Level 2 granite and not Level 5. Of all the granite places I visited Stone Action was the only supplier that had the and quot;olderand quot; color style of this granite in the harder to find cinnamon and brown variation. Their slabs were also of good quality; I had already picked out the slab of my dreams at another local supplier only to find out from the fabricator that the slab was of such poor quality it could not be used. He was shocked that they even would have such a piece on the floor to sell. No problems such as this with Stone Action. Thank you so much for such a great experience!

Very pleased with the service. I found granite at this provider that was not available at the other 6 suppliers I visited. The store was more spacious and easier to move around than other suppliers. They were very knowledgeable and patient. They took the time to pull out the slabs I was interested in so I could carefully inspect them. When the granite was delivered to my fabricator, a small crack was detected and the provider quickly replaced the slab.

Super professional staff. Nelson took me on a personal tour and answered all of my questions. Couldn't have been a nicer experience.
