It went very well. They were excellent, did an excellent job and they were very nice to work with. They were very helpful in evaluating what we needed to have done. They did the job on the price that was quoted. The quality was also excellent.

The did a good job and did all I asked of them in the allotted time.

The entire process went without a hitch. Within a day after purchasing the coupon, Mulberry Bush Landscapes called to obtain a description of the services we required and to set up an appointment date. The day before the appointment Mr. Joseph Gibbs called to confirm the service, time, and place. The morning of the appointment Mr. Gibbs drove out before the crew arrived to walk the property. He is very knowledgeable in horticulture and landscaping and offered suggestions and answered any questions that we had. His crew then arrived and carried out the instructions in an efficient and highly qualified manner. Mr. Gibbs also offered additional hours at a reduced rate for further work but we were pleased with the work accomplished. We are very pleased with Mr. Gibbs' presentation and the work of his staff. We will use this company again for maintenance work and will also call them if we consider any custom patios, walkways or other outdoor work.

Went very well. Joe and I played phone tag for a few weeks because it was the busiest time of the season (April-May) for his team. Once we actually spoke, Joe came by and provided estimates. Work began shortly thereafter. His team showed up as expected to grade the yard and plant sod. Looks fantastic. I was very pleased once all the gravel was delivered, and the two boxwood bushes are healthy and look great. One drawback I mentioned to Joe was the fact that he does not take credit cards or checks. Expect to pay in cash. That was an inconvenience as I pay nearly everything electronically or via check for my condo association so I have an audit trail. Overall, it was not a major problem, but it was awkward to have to withdrawal a large amount of cash at the last minute. I never thought to ask about payment options, and rather assumed I could pay via the association's debit card. Joe's attention to service more than made up for it, however. I look forward to working with Joe and Mulberry again. In fact, I called him this morning for recommendations of trusted colleagues who prune large trees. I also asked him for advice on how to prep my new lawn for fall and winter. He was more than happy to oblige. Fewer headaches for me! I very much recommend Mulberry!

They were wonderful! They told us they had a coupon on Angie's List and they honored the price for the four hours. They were great!

Went well. Owner was very knowledgeable and the workers did not waste time which was nice to see. Was hoping for additional follow up per conversation but have not heard anything.

Initially requested the following services to be performed (under the Angies Big Deal - all of these were listed as options): - Drainage issue - Install Moisture/Vapor Barrier - Plant Removal - general weeding and plant removal in the front yard and side yard The coupon stated to contact them ASAP to schedule appointments. They were unresponsive to several e-mails from me and my husband after the purchase so we ended up having to call them. Joe assured my husband they would be able to install the moisture barrier as part of the Angies list deal but wanted to discuss more on the date of service and would not say specifically if it could be accomplished as part of the deal. On the date of service, the 2 person crew showed up on-time, however they do not bring ANYTHING with them other than a few landscaping tools (e.g. shovels, weed-whacker). The crew DID NOT come prepared with bags so my husband had to go out and purchase them. One of them informed us Joe (the owner) would be stopping by to discuss installing a vapor barrier. We set them to work removing ground cover and bushes along the front and side of the house. After over an hour - Joe STILL was not there to discuss our vapor barrier and the crew attempted to up-sell us on several of their services to include tree-trimming and lawn debris removal (we declined). At the conclusion of the service timeperiod - the crew was able to remove all the desired ground cover and bushes. However, Joe NEVER showed up and the crewperson stated he had talked to Joe over the phone and Joe explained how to do the vapor barrier. Since they were over time, the installation of the vapor barrier (which was our first priority) would be at additional cost. We declined because we felt this was an blatant case of up-selling and ignoring our requests as customers. While the crew was competent at removing the ground cover and bushes - I don't think it takes specialized skills to do so, we could probably have hired random people off the street and given them a shovel to do the same work for cheaper. I would not recommend this business to anyone for the following reasons: 1) The lack of attention paid by the owner of the business to his customers. We defiantly felt they were "stringing" us along and could not get a straight-forward answer to our request for work. 2) Disorganization in scheduling - Contacted them immediately via email with specific guidance on work needed- no response. Called them with same guidance received appointment with no indication of scope of work to be completed. Additionally, they contacted me about 3 weeks later AFTER my initial e-mail to schedule work with multiple e-mails despite having already provided the voucher of payment at the date of service. Obviously record-keeping is poor. 3) Up-Selling - they could not even accomplish the main task I wanted (Vapor Barrier installation) but was more than happy to try and sell me additional services beyond what I clearly requested (tree-removal, debris removal).

It worked out well. They were just fine. The only negative was they clipped some vines on my house a little closer than I would have. I did not give them instructions and I was not paying any attention. It will grow back. I was very happy that they did it. They were anxious to get as much done as possible. The price was fine, I was very pleased, they were on time, and professional and I would use them again.

Scheduling this service was difficult. The night before the first scheduled date, Joe Gibbs called to say he could not make it the following day but could come later in the week. I explained that having already taken the following day off (a Monday), I could not be home on a different day that week. We agreed on the following Saturday morning. On Friday night, Joe left a message to tell me that his crew was unavailable on Saturday and we would need to find another date. When I called him back early on Saturday morning, he said his crew was in fact available and could come that morning, within an hour or so, if that was convenient. It was, fortunately, though the crew arrived nearly two hours later. Once they arrived, however, the project was completed without problem. The crew was friendly and professional. All of the brush trimmed from the plants was disposed of in the plastic yard bags I had supplied. Julio, the crew chief, demonstrated a good understanding of what was possible within the allotted time period and provided some additional tips for maintaining the plants and trees. The yard looks much better and I would certainly consider using Mulberry in the future. On such an occasion, being home for the work might not be as critical and therefore the scheduling complications perhaps less frustrating.

The provider showed up once for an initial consultation back in May. He has been responsive only once by voice mail. Despite repeated attempts by phone and e-mail to get a preliminary cost proposal. He has been non responsive.

They were great. They were on time. I told them what I wanted. He said he was really busy and I said it's OK, I'm not in a big rush and by the time we got back together the deal had expired, but he honored it. I didn't pay anything over the price of the deal. I basically said there are no extra things from beginning to end and when the time is up, you guys can just go. There were a couple of odds and ends that I thought they should have time to get to. But they really didn't get through and I had to show them how to use my lawn equipment. Once we got in touch, he was very good. He was very professional. The main guy was very good. His crew, the guys that came out, maybe they didn't get to it because my stuff is a little older. But overall they were very good and I was happy when they were done and gone.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. We're still going to do some more work to actually redesign it. Because they're so busy, they're so successful, it can take them a little while to get back to you.

The job started off well, but as as soon as the foreman left the site, the effort by the rest of the employees depleted considerably. The finished job was alright, but nothing spectacular.

Joe had great ideas that really enhanced the look, and completed the work in a timely and professional manner.

Had to have them come out twice. First time they blew leaves into neighboring property that was parkland, then tried to charge me more to finish the job.Had to call the owner, he had another team come out and finish the work properly and remove the debris from the neighboring property. He said he was overwhelmed by number of coupon purchasers and had to subcontract some of the work out. He was very apologetic.

I played phone tag with the owner and on the scheduled day, there was an issue and he did not arrive. I can't remember if I had to call the owner or if he finally called me, but of course, the appointment had to be re-scheduled. Unfortunately, I had to leave that day and left my husband in charge. The owner who assured me that he would be there after asking me what needed to be done, sadly was not able to be present. Somehow there was a miscommunication (and my husband swore he explained to trim the grass bush) and my front grass bush was chopped down AND dug up. When I arrived home and discovered this and panicked, one guy immediately called the owner and they re-planted the bush. However, even with this, I was not impressed with the service. Plants and trees were not removed (one tree that I was told would be cut down, but cut, but not even completely and it was not removed). Recommend only if you will be there to fully supervise.

Went well but services cost more than I expected and had too negotiate. Initial cost for big deal does not buy Michael.

It was hard getting something scheduled to get the work done. I think their heart was in the right place but they are unorganized or were too busy to do what I expected. I asked several times for a proposal for addtional work I needed done but I never got a response.

It took a while to schedule the yard cleanup, but in the end, they sent a hard-working guy who did an excellent job. My only complaint was that they left a couple of tools in my backyard, and despite repeated calls, never came to claim them.

Really, no complaints except for the fact that they didn't inform my husband that trimming azaleas in the fall (as he told them to do) means little or no blooms the next year. And maybe they did tell him so I guess I shouldn't fault them for his mistake (I wasn't home). My only concern was the fact that they're located in Maryland and we live in VA but they were professional and far more reasonable than the landscaper we had used for years.

The work was satisfactory. I didn't have any hassles with getting work scheduled or anything like that. It's hard to rate the quality of the work because it was just rake the leaves and other easy lawn work. They did it and it was satisfactory. It looked a lot better. They removed the leaves and got rid of the weeds under my bushes in my backyard. The work was perfectly satisfactory and very reasonable. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they would do it.

Supervisor showed up and went over the cleaning/landscaping plans with my wife, but then left before his crew showed up--said he would be back to oversee them (wanted to see the cherry blossoms!). My wife had to go into work so I replaced her at home not knowing exactly all that was planned. The crew worked hard and did most of what we wanted in the 3 hours allotted to our coupon deal (6 hours = 2 workers x 3 hours) but they didn't remove a diseased shrub as planned or spread mulch in a few area. Language problems and my uncertainty over which shrub should go played a role, but supervisor never made it back--he did call and had me walk through grounds with the guy. Wife also thought some of the shrubs weren't pruned the way that had been discussed--tapered--but rather just hacked off the top. So small quibbles that could have been avoided perhaps if the supervisor had returned as promised. We certainly felt the yard ended much better but not completely satisfied.

Company was punctual and professional. Work was completed within stated time frame.

The service did not work out. I ended up getting a refund for the Big Deal. They did not even come out to my home. They did not seem interested.

Horrible. Took forever to get someone on the phone. When I finally did all I heard were complaints about how far they would have to come to get to my place and how Angie's List had misrepresented them. They did the work but wanted to charge me extra for a service that was included in their advertisement. Some aspects of the work were sloppy as well.
