I think the best use of this landscaping service is when you have a complete clean-up that needs to be done quickly and thoroughly and you don't have much time to get it done. The people work hard and diligently, and where they worked the yard was neat and tidy. However, I purchased a coupon for 8 hours of landscaping and clean up services, and specified that I wanted certain shrubs removed and the front lawn renovated (aerating, spreading fertilizer and lime, and top dressing, but not seeding). I told Joe Gibbs, the owner, that lots more needed to be done but that these were the priorities. He indicated that additional work could be done for $50 per hr. per person, which was a discount from his normal rate. When asked, I agreed that I could go over the coupon amount by $200-400 for additional work. A crew of 4 arrived promptly at 9 am as scheduled, and made a quick job of removing the shrubs, cleaning up and mulching 2 beds. I was told that the rest of the crew would arrive shortly with the aerator to work on the lawn. Finally, at around 1:30, after the first crew had used up the coupon, the $400 worth of additional time I had agreed to and then some, Joe arrived with another crew, and as far as I could tell of equipment, a rented aerator (the cost of which was passed on to me), a push lawnmower, a hand-operated (not even walk-behind) fertilizer.spreader, and one wheel barrow - for 7 or 8 workers. They borrowed my riding lawnmower, a wheelbarrow and a pitchfork. I supplied the mulch and leaf gro from a local vendor. While two worked on the lawn renovation (except they did not spread lime as requested), the rest weeded, spread some mulch lightly on beds, and carried branches, etc. to the brush piles. The leaf-gro top dressing was spread by the handful out of a wheelbarrow, and not applied uniformly with a spreader or even raked over. When, after a little more than 2 hours, the lawn work was completed, the other 6 workers stopped as well and the total bill was calculated. My yard is large, and desperately needs to be cleaned up. yes. But I purchased the coupon with an expectation of specific things being accomplished by a professional crew with professional equipment. The rest I could have - and would have -had done by a local handyman/ yard worker at $15-20 per hour using my equipment. I was most unhappy that there was such a long time before the second crew arrived with the aerator, that I was required to cover the rental for it, and that more workers came with it, at $50/hour I would not have chosen to spend. I think it was unfair of Joe to arrange the day's work so as to require me to pay for a much larger crew for a much longer time than was necessary to accomplish the tasks I wanted done.

bought on 9/20 - sent several emails requesting an appointment with responses that they were swamped & they would call but as of 10/22 that hasn't happened.

Very well, they did a great job cleaning all weeds and mulch out of the yard, and helped me grade some ground to help with more efficient drainage.

Excellent work, they got even more done in the time allotted than I'd expected and the supervisor, Jonathan, was incredibly nice and professional.

Crew of four showed up to make good on a deal I purchased a couple of weeks ago for eight man-hours of general landscaping. My big need was cutting back and trimming some shrubs and bushes all around my house. The guys were a little late showing up, but were friendly and listened as I described what I needed to have done. I'm not sure whether it was due to them rushing and trying to meet the time constraints, or whether it was just a little sloppiness, but there were a few stray rough patches on the bushes that could have been cleaned up better. Nothing worth getting worked up over though, and I feel like I got my money's worth and would use them again.

It was easy to book the appointment, but I think there may have been some scheduling confusion. The owner, Joe, called a few days before the appointment to ask me when they were scheduled to come. They did come on the right day and time, so everything was fine. I'm very happy with the work done, and will use the service again.

It went fine. They brought in a four-man crew, it was for two hours, and we got a lot done. They did such a good job I asked them to stay an extra two hours, I paid the full price to have them stay. I was very pleased with what they did. They were here for four hours. I would use them again.

l for them to get their act together and function more professionally. A ladder has been left propped up against one of my trees next to the house in the back and of late I have been unable to get in touch with them, I need the receipt to be reimbursed by my husband's estate for the money I spent doing this work. The workers did work and were willing to do the work but the problem to me seemed that there was not ONE PERSON in charge to coordinate the entire project. I was told plants were going to be planted in the cleaned up, mulched flower beds but I have been unable to reach them. I even asked for an estimate if they would need more money to purchase the plants but have not heard from them. My most important gripe is that I have yet to obtain a receipt (other than my canceled checks) for the work I paid for.

I talked to Joe Gibbs on the phone, discussed the project, and scheduled the work. Then Mr Gibbs came out on his own to inspect the property and discuss the work in person. A very thoughtful and unexpected approach that made the job go so much smoother. So when the crew did arrived, I already knew what were the priority tasks, and the crew knew just what to do. We bought an 8-manhours for $299 deal, but the project ended up running over another hour. Through the entire time the crew worked with us to use the time efficiently.

I called them to set up an appointment and due to the high response rate they were not able to get me in for another month. The date we did schedule they had to reschedule. And on the reschedule date they never showed or contact em to tell me they were not going to show.

It went very well. The provider did a beautiful job reclaiming our wooded back yard from over growth which was what we asked them to do.

The provider did not come to the property for an inspection at any time. His help misconstrued some of the instructions by provder and myself - the lead helper was a bit argumentative but in the end cooperated. The job was shortened on the first visit and postponed on the second visit (not weather related); however, the work was finally done to my satisfaction - albeit, I could have done without the repeated back-and-forth between the provider, the helper and myself. In summary, the provider was resspectful and accommodating.

Service was fine. The workers were competent and responded to any request that I made.

It went well - I thought that I had bought the 8 hour big deal but when I printed it realized that I had bought the 6 hours so it cut back on some of the work that I was able to get done. Still the two workers did a great job. My front yard was very overgrown and messy. They weeded, trimmed a crab apple tree and put down some top soil (which was an extra fee for the top soil - totally worth it). They didn't have enough time to put down the entire amount of top soil so they left it in the driveway. They did a very good job, were experienced and worked well together. One of the workers was stung by a wasp and they took care of (removed) the nest immediately. I met with the owner, Joe Gibbs, in June to discuss the work that I wanted to have done. He spent more than 45 minutes with me discussing options for my yard and finding out more about what I was interested in.

I was contacted within 24 hours by the owner of the company to schedule the job, and even updated when he had an unexpected opening in the schedule. Jonathan and his team showed up on-time and did everything that was asked of them and more. They removed a large bush, pruned some small trees, weeded my flower beds and pruned up my shrubs very well. My yard looks so much better. This work would have taken me 3 weekends at least so it was well worth the price to me. I would hire them again.

Last contact with vendor, October 1st. Contacted vendor via email as requested. No response. Sent second email Oct 1 st stating that this was my second request. Immediate reply. Scheduled for November 9th. After scheduling felt too long to wait and really not quite what was needed. Decided to cancel. Did not notify vendor.

Mulberry Bush Landscapes was fair. At that time, I thought it was a little bit better but they didn't do some things that I asked them to do. I bought an additional $20 for an organic weed killer. They didn't seem to know what things were, they couldn't identify bushes and things like that. I was expecting a landscaping company to be able to do that. They did not fertilize, I asked them if they were going something but that would have been extra. Anything they did was extra. I didn't feel it was worth the money. They were here on time. The person that they sent out was a very nice man. He asked all the right questions but he couldn't answer my question.

See details above. The original work I paid for went very well. I hired the team again to do the end of summer clean-up. Will be calling soon to winterrize the garden.

Excellent workers and a good supervisor. Did exactly what I wanted. The owner came twice to oversee their work and ensure it was what I wanted. The owner also made several excellent suggestions.

They were great--checking in frequently to ask how to prioritize and drawing our attention to the fact that the job was bigger than they had time to complete under the terms of the "Big Deal." So-we happily paid more for them to complete the work.

It took awhile to get the landscape design completed however we spent a fair amount of time discussing the best plants for our deer problem, my preferred plant colors, maintenance expectations, etc.... Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and gave me great ideas and suggestions. Our very large trees were cut/ trimmed beautifully too. I would definitely recommend using Mulberry Landscaping and hope to work with them in the future! D Austrager

I was impressed with the improvement in the appearance of the flower and tree beds by the end of the first day. When my husband I realized that we had not specified a minimum distance between a few shrubs and a generator, Joe agreed to have his team return to adjust the distance by replanting the shrubs again.

The work was done over three days with different workers for the digging and leveling of the yard, then others for laying the sod. There were no problems with the workers and there was immediate response to any questions or requests. The work was done in a timely manner and at the conclusion several neighbors requested the number of the company. The date is estimated.

Purchased a Big Deal for $299 for 6-man hours of work. We paid an additional $1800 for additional work. Joe Gibbs, one of the owners, was very responsive. I emailed him & he called back within a few days. He came over, looked at what we wanted done, and gave us a good price. His crew spent about a week cutting down a pine & cherry tree, removed bushes, cleared away weeds, including poison ivy, around the perimeter of the yard. They also cleared areas that were overgrown with brush & weeds. They had a truck full of mulch that they use to mulch the cleared areas.

A booking was made, but when a slot came up a couple of weeks earlier, I received a call and we were able to go ahead the same day. The crew of four people arrived on time, and completed the work of pruning, cutting back, and cleaning up as discussed. I was happy with the work.
