Pro Spex Home Inspection Services

The inspection took just over 4 hrs. The inspector went over everything and was very knowledgeable. The routine the inspector used required him to addressed a specific topic, such as ventilation. He went thru the whole house and examined everything that dealt with that topic. Then he selected another topic, like plumbing, and again went thru the whole house and examined everything dealing with that topic. He didn't miss anything and did a great job. The price of the inspection also included the Radon test.

The inspection went really well. The Big Deal combined with his really good ratings drew me in but I ended up getting a good service at a great deal. I am happy with the way the inspection turned out.

I was very happy with the service. He pointed out everything that may be a concern at all. Some of the things were able to be explained by the owner, and some of the things were issues that needed to be addressed. He was very thorough and explained the issues very well.

Chris Quick did a thorough inspection, and the report Pro-Spex submitted was very helpful. It came via pdf, which made it easy to copy and paste stuff for contractors down the road. The report also had many helpful pictures that Chris took. The report is also a handy guide for upkeep and maintenance throughout our ownership of the home. Chris didn't mind my hanging around for a lot of the inspection, nor did he seem annoyed--or quibble with my assessments--when I pointed things out before he got to them, such as a loose ceiling fan. My last home inspection, back in 2002, was not very good--as in "I almost ended up in court" not very good. That inspector's report was just a form with a lot of stuff scribbled on it, and he missed some huge stuff. I waited a couple months to review Pro-Spex because it can take a couple months for problems to arise. I think Chris did a good job. I know I could have found a less expensive inspection, but it was okay with me because of Pro-Spex's thoroughness. I recommend them.

Glen with Pro Spex knew his stuff inside and out. In my past experiences, I have never seen such a thorough and detailed inspection of a home. He found things that I never would have thought of and allowed me to have certain items addressed with a seller of a house before purchase. He was available to explain details (both there and after the fact) and provided a summarized as well as a detailed report of all findings. Pictures of all items were included in the report. I would recommend Pro Spex for any home inspection needs. Extremely detailed professionals.

I could not be more pleased with the service provided. They really took the time to carefully review and explain everything to me, often in layman's terms. Their perspective is proving extremely useful as we determine if we will purchase this home. Not only are we more aware of the issues with the house, we are in a much stronger position to talk with the seller about necessary repairs and price reductions. If we do purchase the home, we may make the purchase contingent on a re-inspection by Pro Spex. This is an excellent company and we would definitely use them again. Plus...they have a drone!

Glenn is the consummate professional- very knowledgable, efficient, polite, and patient. He takes the time necessary to explain all the technical details to the buyer in layman's terms, making sure the customer understands the various components of the property. The inspection results are emailed usually the same day, both a summary and a full report w color pictures. He will also suggest different options w approx cost to resolve problems encountered during the inspection. I strongly recommend Pro-Spex for your home inspection needs!

These guys were incredible! Weather conditions were unfavorable for safely getting on the roof, but they had a DRONE that actually flew on the roof and enabled us to check out the roof condition with videos and photos FROM THE GROUND. That was super cool. The inspector also patiently explained every aspect of the house, its positives and its negatives, in addition to answering all of my questions. His knowledge of the building code as related to electrical wiring particularly seemed encyclopedic.

I called to try and schedule an inspection with a relatively tight time frame. The person on the phone stated she would have to check with the inspectors to verify their availability and that I would be called back that evening or the following morning. I received no follow up calls. Good thing I went ahead and scheduled a backup with another company.

It was great. I used them once before and had the same inspector. He was very knowledgeable and thorough.

Glen, is a professional who knows his business well. He found hidden problems with a home under contract. When he was done it was clear that the home was not right for us. I have asked Glen to back to another home we would like to purchase. You can trust that if there are issues, he will find them.

They weren't able to accommodate my quick turn around schedule. They did try to work the schedule around to try to fit me in, but they weren't able to. They were very nice and really trying to make it happen for me.

Chris was punctual, extremely thorough, professional, and informative. They sub-contract the termite inspection with another company (Pest Now) and he was just as professional. I received both the termite and home inspection reports within 24hrs.

The service went very well. They did exactly what the deal stated. The technician was very thorough and they were able to point out helpful things. I had no problem getting in touch with the company or scheduling the service.

Glen (owner) was very polite and informative. He performed our framing inspection and pointed out issues that our own builder (Toll Brothers) and the PG County inspector (who approved my home for drywall even with flooding issues going on in he core wall) didn't even address. There was a scheduling conflict and he was running late so he had to reschedule but other than that, the experience with Glen was perfect. We just scheduled him again for our final home inspection before we close on the house. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Toll Brothers on the other hand...beware

The home inspection went very well. The inspector, Chris Quick, was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. He was easy to work with and instilled confidence in his recommendations. I highly recommend Pro Spex.

It was good. He was nice and knowledgeable.

Miscommunication on the phone. I called to see if the vendor was available on a certain day and was directed to the website. The website showed 2 home inspectors, one of whom was available all day 7/15 so I purchased the deal expecting to be able to reserve him for that day. After receiving the confirmation, I tried to make the reservation online and it said that day was booked. I called and they confirmed that that day was unavailable. Everyone was very polite in the reimbursement/cancellation process. My only recommendation would be for the initial phone call to have provided the necessary correct information that would have kept me from ordering the deal in the first place - they just told me to review the website.

Glen and Yvonne were AMAZING. Yvonne was very responsive via email and when the termite inspector didn't show due to a miscommunication she immediately rectified the situation. Glen, the owner, performed our inspection, along with a trainee whose name I unfortunately can't remember, but he was wonderful too! As first time home buyers, we were fairly clueless about the whole process, and Glen could not have been better. He explained everything in SUPER detail to us, while also not talking down to us, and provided helpful tips, suggestions, etc. I really can not imagine a better person to have do your inspection -- he was incredibly thorough, made detailed notes and provided a report in less than 24 hours. We HIGHLY recommend Glen and Pro-Spex.

Appraiser go home on time, walked us through the process, and always kept us informed about everything as he went through. Had a lot of knowledge and good answers to our questions.

Despite listing the area in which I live as an area that they cover, they do not have inspectors that will travel to Woodbridge, VA. I suggest they remove that town from their listing.
