Description of Work: Very rude on the phone. They will give discounts to new customers but not the ones that continually use them. They are always trying to up sale services. They cleaned our gutters. The actual cleaning is done well.

Description of Work: Contracted to have gutters cleaned due to overflow. While cleaning an inspection showed that some of the gutters were bent from the heavy winter snows. This could be easily seen from ground level. An estimate was given to replace the bad gutters and make the repairs so the gutters would work properly. I agreed to the work and it was completed the next day. No mess, no fuss, easy and great job. It looks great and now works great. I appreciated their professionalism and efficiency and even their prices. They did mention their service contract at each point of contact. I was glad for the information and opportunity but did not go with a service contract at this time. I will however continue to use them when I want to schedule gutter cleaning. Central scheduling, credit card payment, and not having to be present when work was completed, and full invoices detailing service left at door are the deciding factors for me. I have seen Ned Steven's advertised for years but being on Angie's list made me contact them first and last for service.

We had a coupon to use the service to clean our gutters. That went well enough, but a bit pricey I've learned, even after the coupon. They came out and cleaned the gutters well and quickly, but the problems came after that. Non-stop phone calls harassing me to buy a service plan.

They did a great job cleaning out our gutters on each occassion and making sure the yard was clean (they ensured all debris was placed in a trash bag before departure.) They do not call you the day prior to let you know they are coming which is fine since we did not need to be present.

They do a good job, and I find them to be on time and very clean. They never leave a mess, and that is important, because there are several places in my house where you can see the gutters from the upstairs. They are always very thorough, and so far, I?ve been very happy with the work that they?ve done for me. They are always here when they are scheduled to be here. If they are up on the roof and they see that a shingle is not quite right, they?ll straighten that out for you. They?ll write you a little report that tells you what they see, if they see something that needs to be fixed. I feel that I get good value for my money although I have not used any other gutter company. I would use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Ned Steven's Gutter Cleaning to replace my gutters earlier this year. I have a plan with them whereby they clean my gutters 4 times a year - they have been cleaning my gutters for years now. They also fixed the overflow problems that we were having.

It is a good experience, we have been happy. They clean up after themselves, taking care of the leaves. They come out without us being home. They are pretty responsive if we find there is a lag time. We haven't had any problems with them. The package is convenient as we live in a heavily tree populated area and it beats having to give them a call continuously to come out. We will continue to use them.
Description of Work: We originally called them to come out and clean the gutters. We then signed a package to have them take care of this throughout the year. They cleaned the gutters and the roof, for a total of four cleanings through the different seasons.

They schedule 3-4 cleanings and just automatically come and do it, you don't have to worry about calling them to come out. They leave a bill when they are done. I haven't had any problems with them at all. They are very prompt. The people who come out don't speak English. They are a little expensive though. There were a couple times this summer that it rained really hard. The rain came in our back sliding door. I called them about this and they told me that my gutters weren't aligned correctly. I asked them why they hadn't told me and it's because they don't speak English. They fixed this for me. The rain came in again after this and so I called them and asked why. They came right out to check and they let me know my flashing wasn't long enough on my roof and so the water was going in between the wood and gutter. I'm not really sure I needed new gutters. This is the only thing that perturbed me. I don't have anything to compare their prices too, but I don't think they are bad. I will continue to use them in the future.

They are the only ones who I can get to show up at this point, so I probably have no choice as to whether or not I will use them again. Sometimes they show up with 5-6 guys for just 10 minutes and they still charge about $125. But other people won't show up at all, so at least they do that and they are always very nice to me.
Description of Work: They came in December to clean the gutters. They come every 3 months which might be a bit excessive. They told me I had to reset the back gutter, because the water doesn't drain out the way it is suppose to.

This is the second time we have used this company. Our call for service was answered promptly and professionally and we were told that the gutters would be cleaned in 2-3 days and that we would receive a phone call the night before they would be coming out and that we did not need to be at home. A quote for the work was given over the phone based on the square footage of our house. To my surprise, the crew arrived here the next morning and did a thorough and complete job. The gutters were cleaned out and all the garbage taken away. Our yard and deck were perfectly clean. If they hadn't left the bill in the front door I would not have known they were there. They were that thorough.

I had them clean out the gutters. When I called to schedule the appointment they said someone would be out in one to seven business days. 15 business days later someone cleaned my gutters. They did a decent job cleaning my gutters, but I am very disappointed with the timeliness of job completion. I would not have had a problem if they said it would take 15 business days to get the job done. But they said it would take one to seven.

They clean up everything and leave all debris in a bag by my curb. They call before they come and have never bent my gutters. They are proactive as they will let you know if something is going to need to be fixed. Sometimes they have coupons for 5 dollars off in the paper for new customers.
Description of Work: They come 4 times a year to clean my gutters. We are on a plan with them. They clean 6 or 7 gutters, some are 3 stories high. They also realign the gutters if needed.

I was told when I booked the appointment that they would be out within a week. After approximately 10 days I called again. They promised to send someone soon. A few days later they arrived, stayed 10 minutes, put a bill in my door for $90, and cleaned out the gutters but left without flushing my downspouts as I was told they would do. Neither man spoke any English and apparently the door to the truck doesn't open because I watched one employee crawl through the truck window when they left. I called their office and confirmed that my downspouts should have been flushed out. I reported that they hadn't turned my hose on at all. The receptionist was polite but didn't seem surprised. She promised to send them out again. Several days later they came back and did the job properly. If I had not been home to see them do the job halfway I would have assumed that it had been done correctly the 1st time.

They sent a crew out in a few days. This crew did not do a very thorough job. They tried to flush the debris down the downspouts rather than collecting it. We called back that day and complained. They had another crew at our house by 10AM the next day. This crew did a very good job of making sure all downspouts were working properly. We were very pleased with their quick response to a problem. We will call them back in the fall after the leaves are down, but we will specify that they send the crew they sent the second time. Grading scale is for second crew's work.

THEY ARE AN OKAY COMPANY TO WORK WITH. MY ONLY PROBLEM WITH THEM IS THAT THEY NEED TO SCHEDULE THEIR APPOINTMENTS AROUND THE WEATHER. THEY WERE VERY POLITE. THEY CLEANED UP ALL OF THE DEBRIS THAT WAS TAKEN OUT OF THE GUTTERS.

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS UNSATISFACTORY. THE FAILED TO CLEAN THE GUTTERS IN THE BACK OF THE HOUSE, AT THE APEX OF THE HOUSE. WHEN QUESTIONED ABOUT THIS, THEY CLAIMED TO HAVE DONE SO, BUT THE RAIN OVERFLOWING THE GUTTERS DURING A BAD STORM TOLD DIFFERENT.
