Amazingly! You hear about moving horror stories but not with these guys. Everything was spot on, everyone was so courteous. They worked at a record pace and didn't break or damage anything. I can't stop talking about what an amazing experience it was. I can't recommend them enough.

We have used Metro. twice now. We would use nothing but superlatives to describe our experience with this company. They are the best at what they do and they are transparent. Hopefully we wont be moving for a long time, but if we do, they are the only company that we would trust to provide a moving service.

Metropolitan Movers were efficient, professional, responsive, and accurate. The crew was respectful of social distancing guidelines and receptive to guidance around how items should be labeled or delivered. There were no issues with broken or lost items and they were punctual to pick up and delivery. We would definitely use them again or recommend to others!

Metropolitan Moving & Storage did a fantastic job with my move during the pandemic. We were able to do the estimate "walk" virtually via video chat. The price was fair and estimate accurate. My building changed the move date a few days before the move. Metropolitan worked with me to accommodate the change. It required two move dates and a stop at a storage facility. Metropolitan moving worked out a fair price for the change and were very flexible. The movers themselves were FANTASTIC. They did a great job. The movers wrapped and protected everything. They moved quickly and efficiently. The final delivery to my new house was during a very heavy rain storm. The crew protected the entire house, moved everything in flawlessly and were efficient. I had no complaints and have recommended them to multiple friends.

They were great. They were able to give us a good estimate through a facetime tour of our house. The men arrived on time and were professional and experienced. Covid safety precautions were followed through the entire day. I definately recommend this company for moving.

The crew was prompt, professional, and efficient. They moved us in late May during the pandemic and reasonably observed all precautions (gloves, masks, distancing from us while in the same space). I would hire again.

It couldn't have gone better. The packers were early, handled my belongings with care and wrapped everything so well that not one single item was broken. In addition to household good sand furniture, they moved over 100 paintings and they came through without a scratch. They lifted boxes I would never have thought they could get off the ground. They never stopped to take a break other than to get a quick lunch. The unpacking at my condo was just as well done. Not a scratch on my newly painted walls, no mishap with the furniture which they had wrapped really well and not a thing damaged. There is a tiny elevator in the condo and they made uncounted trips in it. They also carried furniture up 4 flights of stairs. They worked 15 minutes to try to get a big dresser into my walk-in closet determined to make it fit. Unfortunately, it didn't. In addition, the 3 packers/movers couldn't have been more professional, polite and efficient. They were terrific. The estimator and office people were also very nice, efficient and took the time to answer all my questions. They knew their stuff. The final cost came in under the estimate. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The move went great. The movers were there on time and were very efficient. It took them about 2-3 hours to load the truck and about the same to unload at our new place. They were very communicative and made sure all of our furniture and boxes went to the right locations, which is super helpful since we have a three story town home. They were very careful with all of our things and everything made it to our new place in excellent condition. It was also very hot that day and they wore masks the whole time( the move was during covid), which was very respectful. We really couldn't ask for a better moving experience.

We moved from a 3 BR rowhouse w/ garage to a home in North Carolina. The estimate was for 3 movers to work for 8 hours (load and unload), and they finished in ~6 hours. They filled a 26' truck 90% full. The three employees who came (right on time) were nothing short of amazing. We had spent three days beforehand packing boxes, so we thought they wouldn't have to do much in that area, but they were super thorough and packed up some stuff we had left 'loose' into larger boxes. They wrapped all the furniture with amazing speed and didn't have any trouble with large or awkward pieces. The unload went similarly, they showed up right on time in North Carolina and worked fast to get everything unloaded and where we wanted it. I really can't say enough good things about them. I hope we can find someone as good in North Carolina the next time we have to move.

Excellent experience, everything went great. The crew started promptly as scheduled and moved everything required efficiently and safely. We had a bedroom, dining room, and partial living room moved from a house to an apartment. The crew was very professional and very pleasant to work with it. Part of the day was raining, but they were not deterred. The scheduling, booking, and payment process went perfect, very smooth. I like how the office manager confirmed the day before by detailing the entire move, and ensuring everything was covered. Great job, I would book again!

Great experience. The crew of 4 arrived exactly at 830am as promised. They worked nonstop until job completed. They were respectful, friendly, and very careful not to damage anything. Everything went perfect and the price was slightly under the estimate. Could not have asked for a better move.

They were fast and professional. The gentlemen that packed up my home furnishings did a great job quickly. One year later, they packed up a storage locker of boxes and combined with my furnishings for delivery several states away. They were helpful and worked hard to insure I was happy with the installation of my furniture in my new home.

It went great. The men were punctual, very professional, and took care in wrapping and moving my furniture. They gave me inventory of the furniture they took to be stored. All of my furniture was returned in the same condition as it was when it left My home, and the men delivered it in the same professional manner. The administrative staff I communicated with were also very professional, courteous and helpful In explaining their fees and in setting up the pickup and return. I highly recommend this company.
