The men did an excellent job of packing and then moving our belongings the next day.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Our team was awesome. First and foremost they cared about doing a quality job. They also were very efficient and careful. They made sure that all the beds were set up in our house and even repaired an old handmade bedframe i had that had been warped for a few years! They willingly moved furniture into different rooms and asked multiple times what else they could do to help. I highly recommend!

Metropolitan Moving was exceptional in our recent house move. They arrived early, were extremely efficient and careful. The overall cost came in well below the budget and we highly recommend their services.

Went very well. The gentlemen arrived when they said they would; packed the truck expeditiously; and made the trip north. We met them at the storage facility early the following morning; they arrived on time and unloaded the truck efficiently. Left the crates in the order in which they were loaded, with labels visible. The movers were both friendly and professional.

The gentlemen that helped me move did a phenomenal job, and I am very grateful for their service and dedication to making my move as smooth as possible. We encountered a few issues from the get go, as the negligent property management staff scheduled elevator maintenance during my move, even though I had reserved the service elevator a month in advance and confirmed my reservation 24 and 12 hours in advance of moving day. This didn't faze the movers. They were incredibly resourceful and immediately relocated their truck to utilize another elevator, which wasn't as convenient but allowed them to load my belongings into the truck. They worked non-stop until everything was transported to my new condo, and then they carefully placed everything according to my desired layout. I'm impressed by the professionalism of Metropolitan Moving & Storage, and I highly recommend them.

The movers arrived on time. They were very professional, know what they are doing, very efficient. Pack and install everything properly. Not one thing was damaged. We had tons of books, very heavy. They really did a lot and still managed to finish work earlier than estimated. They are pricy. But definitely worth the money.

Excellent! I have had literally close to 20 moves in my lifetime, and three of them transatlantic. I can say with no hesitation this was my best moving experience ever, and by a long shot. The crew was very professional, polite, friendly, helpful and sensitive to my new home and my furniture, as if it had been their own.

Metropolitan was amazing to work with. They sent someone out to work up a quote which was different than all other moving companies. All other companies wanted me to list out every single thing we had in our home and if we forgot something we could possibly be charged more. You pay for actual materials used and you can tell them how many movers you want to do the job. The movers showed up on time, worked the entire time and did an amazing job. They moved a 4 BR townhouse and did not break a single item. Their professionalism was top notch and I didn't feel as though I was being nickle and dimed on anything. I would definitely use them if I had to move again.

I can't say enough good things about the team that moved me. They were meticulous in their work, they protected all items, nothing was broken on lost. The movers were extremely professional, friendly and hard workers. I would highly recommend these movers, I had another move with another company within the last year and I had so many items broken and/or badly packed. Again, I highly recommend Metropolitan Movers.

It went great. There was a lot of furniture and valuable artwork, antiques etc to move and complicated stuff to move (including a wine fridge) and it all went off without a hitch. The movers showed up on time, got things out of the house super quickly and safely (nothing was broken or damaged in the move) and were able to move the stuff to my apartment and our storage unit. I would use them again for my ext move.

The Metropolitan Moving & Storage team assigned to my move was FABULOUS! Professional and fast; they made sure all of my items were properly packed and unloaded. Couldn't ask for better service. Waving my magic wand, the only thing I would suggest for a better "experience" would be to NOT charge extra for credit card payments. Having cash on hand during a move isn't the most convenient.

This wasn't very long move (about 120 miles) but long enough to need a moving company. We're too old to grab a bunch of friends and bribe them with a case of beer to load a U-Haul. Plus a good friend had used these guys and highly recommended them. The estimator came out to look the stuff over and where it was and gave us a decent estimate and the reason for the pricing break down. We set the date and laid down the deposit. Later it turned out we needed to move the date and Metropolitan was able to do it. Easy peasy. The day before the move the crew came out and packed everything we needed to pack and on the day of the move they showed up early and disassembled the bed and dresser/mirror and put our hanging clothes into wardrobe boxes and loaded the truck. It was the same crew from beginning to end and the truck was dedicated to our move. It wasn't part of an 18-wheeler with three different households on it. It was just our stuff. The crew drove out to our new place the same day, unloaded everything and nothing was lost or broken. Plus the final price came in under estimate so we were super pleased about that. These guys may not be the absolute cheapest guys in town but for what they offer it's totally worth it.

Metropolitan did a fantastic job packing and moving us into our new home. They perfectly wrapped and packed our entire apartment during the day while we were at work. The next day they promptly moved us into our new home. Our items were unwrapped and the boxes and wrapping material was disposed. Nothing was damaged or lost. It was a pleasure working with the entire staff of Metropolitan. Every employee we interacted with was professional and kind. We will absolutely use them again for any move in the future.

The move went exceptionally well at every stage of the experience. People with whom I spoke at the office were friendly and helpful. The estimator gave a very fair estimate and addressed all of my questions and concerns honestly and to my satisfaction. Items that Metropolitan's packer packed were handled efficiently. There was a lot to pack, including a great deal of framed artwork. Nothing broke as a result of his work. The movers were communicative and respectful of our things, and they worked VERY hard!. There were no unexpected charges at the end. I know of no one who likes to move, but Metropolitan Moving and Storage made the whole process as painless as possible. Highly recommended!

It went very well. The men were on time and polite. There were four guys and two trucks as promised and they worked for nine hours in 100% heat without stop. They are very good at wrapping items up to avoid damage.

The company booked us near the last minute. They handled all the snafus from that with aplomb. They guys who moved us were great. All was taken care of in a timely, yet orderly fashion. Really great service from start to finish. I've moved 10+ times in the last 15 years. I know a good moving company when I see one.

The whole experience with metropolitan moving was superior! The crew was very professional — and four of the nicest men ever. They handled our possessions with great care and moved them into our new home quickly and without a scratch on anything! I would definitely recommend Metropolitan Moving and Storage!
