I had someone out to my house within an hour and everything was fixed in less than two hours.

Very thorough, explained the problem and solutions carefully and thoroughly. I needed an immediate solution so I wouldn't be without a/c which they provided. I need a new HVAC system and have chosen JDL HVAC Services to do the installation because of their knowledge, professionalism, fair pricing and overall customer service. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

My project was replacing a 50 year old through the wall AC unit. I received four quotes and JDL was the most reasonable by far. The team was prompt and courteous, and dedicated to getting the install finished right. I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Joe and the team. Thank you, guys. You really came through for us.

So I hired JDL as an emergency hire when my AC went out, they came right away. They charged me for a diagnostic and a travel fee. They misdiagnosed the problem and said I needed a new compressor/motor. And it would be $700 for the repair. They came the next day and put in the new motor and said it wasn't working and my entire unit was shot and needed replaced, which would cost thousands. When they left they took my old motor and left the unit disassembled so it was impossible to even get a second opinion. In their process of checking my unit. They drained all my Freon. Making it even more difficult to get a proper opinion. I had to have my new contractor tell them on the phone that it was their responsibility to leave my unit as they saw it originally. They sent a random guy who could barely speak English the next day to put in the old "broken" motor. So after all the hassle to get them to fix the damage they caused. I ended up calling BGEhome and they got the unit and "broken" motor running fine. For a fraction of what JDL quoted. So I'm down The diagnostic and travel fee. With nothing but bunch of not needed stress. If you want to be over charged for problems that don't exist these are the guys

The service I received from JDL HVAC Services was exceptional. They diagnosed my AC unit the same day of contact and immediately started searching for the part that was needed. They found the part, based on the manufacturer's suggestion, and installed it the next day. No guess work--JDL HVAC Services diagnosed the problem accurately. I am very appreciative that they explained the problem and why it happened, and provided information on how to prevent future AC failures. JDL HVAC Services also cleaned my AC unit and checked the freon level. I didn't realize my AC unit was dirty--I was so, so wrong! Regularly servicing my AC unit could have prevented this problem. Thanks JDL HVAC Services for your knowledge, your concern for your customers and your friendliness! I'm cool now.

JDL HVAC is very good company to repair your AC/Heat, When our AC is stopped working in HOT summer we contacted and they came immediately and fixed our AC.. Awesome!

I contacted JDL and they were there in one hour around 7pm. Identified the issue with my system , fixed it directly and gave me a good price. They also took the extra step to educate me a bit on preventative maintenance . Good job.

Priced seemed a bit high for the amount of time/effort (about 15 minutes). They were also supposed to call for a time to come back and clean the evaporator but never did. They lost an opportunity for follow up work. Follow up - Had to change from recommend to not recommend and lower the customer service from a 4.0 to 2.0. No real issues with the technician who performed the job, he was pleasant, professional and got the unit running faster than I expected. The owner called about cleaning the evaporator after my review was posted, concerned that I did not contact him first. I returned is call the next day and also informed him that the unit again stopped working and that I need the technician to return to do the analysis again and get the unit running. This unit is in a property that I rent, so my service as a landlord is also impacted. I did not get a call back and with temperatures expected to exceed 100 degrees this weekend, I need to get this unit fixed. Turning to Home Advisor for another HVAC technician, second opportunity lost for JDL to do follow up work and be our regular HVAC service provider. I'll now have to pay another technician for doing the analysis all over again.

Not only were they professional in taking care of my air conditioning unit, they educated me on the air conditioner itself, the maintenance of the unit and much more.

They responded quickly. JDL spent the necessary time to diagnose and repair unit. It is an old unit and they did only what needed fixing in order to keep costs manageable. They work hard. I'm going to use them for annual maintenance and any future issues 😄

Awesome. Air conditioner stopped working on the Friday before the 4th of July. I was worried no one would come out since it was before a holiday weekend. I was wrong. JDL came out that day. He gave me several options, didn't try and pressure me into anything, and fixed the problem. He explained everything that he was doing as he was doing it. Will be using them again.

Very responsive and professional. I called for AC repair during very hot July 2016 and they arrived in 24 hours and fixed the problem. They explained everything they were going to do and gave me the price before the repair was done. I will hire them again id I have any more problems with the AC.
