I received prompt and excellent service from a technician who fixed the problem I reported. He looked at the whole situation, and came up with a plan to fix another problem that has been an issue for a year, but I thought was a hopeless case. Details follow: My A/C was working, but the thermostat was a cheap freebie installed a year ago, and it did not work anymore. The technician replaced it. When he checked the whole A/C unit, he noticed some sections were not sealed properly, and he fixed that. I have had a problem changing the filter in the furnace. The technician (from a different company) who installed a new furnace a year ago did not have the needs of the customer in mind, and I have to move the wiring around each time I change a filter. I hate it, but I live with it because I did not know any better. The JDL technician zeroed in on the problem right away (although I had not said anything about it), and came up with two alternatives. He will price them and come back to modify the unit, based on the cheaper of the two options. The result will be that I will change my filter more often, which is best for my unit over the long term (not to mention the air I breathe!). I will also be able to install a filter that is the proper size. The one I use now is too small, but it's hard enough to squeeze through as it is. I strongly recommend JDL HVAC Services!

My AC was not blowing cold air. Within 2 hours of speaking with JDL Joe arrived at my house. He quickly assessed my unit inside and out and explained everything he was doing and why. Within about 20 minutes he had identified the problem and solutions. I could tell that Joe really cared not only about getting my AC working properly but also ensuring I understood what he was doing. Joe was very courteous and professional. Before entering my house, he provided me a card, then he and his helper donned shoe covers. They quickly diagnosed my HVAC issue and explained my options for repair. They determined that my system still had warranty coverage for parts and provided a flat rate that was presented from a price list in his binder. All in all, it was a very good experience.

I had inquired on Home advisor about getting my AC looked over. We had a central AC unit that was almost 30 years old. We were having problems and Joe showed us exactly what we could need to do to get through the Summer with limited cash output. We also discussed replacing the coil and the compressor. We went with the latter and we are so glad that we did. Joe was completely transparent with everything and gave us the best advice. That along with his outstanding professionalism and attention to detail with his installation made the decision that much easier. We are very happy with the result and could not be more pleased. Joe was very honest with his rates and thoroughly explained everything as he and his apprentice were doing the work. He explained how the system works and what all of the numeric parameters meant.

He listened to what the problem was with my A/C , checked it out, and gave me options as to how to proceed with the repair. Joe called me the morning of our appointment to confirm our appointment and he arrived promptly. He was here to to annual maintenance on the AC. He explained each step of what he was doing and why it was important. We'll be calling back again for our seasonal maintenance. Thank Joe.
