Called this company because of the high ratings. I feel their ratings maybe fabricated. The tech, Vince, who came out was courteous and informative. And I was ready to give 5 starts. However, the Freon level was not mentioned in our conversation. So I called back, to have them come back out to check the level. Was told someone would call me to discuss, no one called. So I called the next day and again spoke to their service department. The guy I spoke with kept speaking while I was speaking and trying to speak over me. So a complete lack of communication. Even after asking him to stop and let me finish. When he did speak and told me they could not charge the system due to inadequate air flow, that is fine. I told him I understood this, but I needed to know if the system is freezing due to low Freon or the air flow. And so knowing if checked and found low, and you will not charge due to the airflow issue. Or you check and the Freon level is good. That is fine, but we have confirmation. But that is not what happened, the service person was rude, repeatedly talked while I spoke and refused to answer the question I presented. Only kept repeating in his professional opinion there is not adequate air flow regardless if it has bred running fine for years. I am open to speak to them further, if they are willing. But not with their support team.

Our hvac was not working. JDL came out twice, and were very prompt and courteous, but both times, the system froze. Our system was old and we were told the best option was a new system. We decided to do it but it was a holiday weekend so we didn't expect to have it fixed until after the holiday, Early the next day, we got a call that they could start working on the hvac. They had made special efforts to get the system after the supplier was closed! It was Saturday and Memorial Day weekend. A crew of 3-4 came on a Saturday and stayed for hours and hours until the job was done. It was done perfectly, and now I am sitting here extremely comfortable with a new efficient system; the horrible humidity is gone. The crew was entirely professional and friendly and included the owner of the company who was knowledgeable about the odd type of system we have. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this efficient, knowledgeable, and professional company. We never had an hvac system before and also feel better that we are a little more knowledgeable about it. Service on it is also included, so that gave us piece of mind. Thank you Joe and the other technicians for a wonderful experience at a hard time .

Immediate response to my request Arrived at my home within2 hors (5 minutes before promised Diagnosed and repaired A/c promptly at a great price in time for the hot Memorial Day weekend. Service Tech, Aion was true professional in every regard. Kudos to JDL for excellent customer Srvice experience. They will now be our preferred provider!

I called to have them know the AC was not working, and was told they send someone out but I would have to pay a service fee, which was fine because I needed the AC fixed asap. The tech came out and said we needed a new outdoor unit and they will be sending a quote again this is fine just send the quote so we can get moving with having it fixed since we have a hot weekend coming and I am heavily pregnant. The rep called next day and gave me an amount for the work and I requested for quote breakdown to be sent to my email so I can see the breakdown of what I am being charged for. Here where the problem begins, she says well usually they only give verbal amount and if the client likes it they will proceed with the work, however seeing as I am paying a significant amount I insisted that I get a breakdown of what I will be paying for. She says ok, that she will send email me a detailed quote. I never received one so I call two days later and now I am told oh the amount she gave me the first time was wrong and her supervisor will call me back to give a correct quote. All this just seems extra fishy to me and I would not stand for it. Why charge me a service fee and guarantee that work will be done and then give the client a run around. I think asking for a breakdown of what is being quoted is reasonable enough. So beware of them and always ask to see proof if you decide to go with them. I was willing to use them based on their great reviews but I have been disappointed so far!!!

They were very responsive. The first tech they sent couldn’t access the attic. They sent another tech out the same day who quickly identified the problem and fixed it. He talked with my about my various options for what I wanted done, and was very clear about prices, etc. I’ve never dealt with HVAC services before, but I would hire them again and I would recommend them to others.

Ire was my technican. Excellent service! He called twice to let me know when he was going to arrive. He was very thorough and very professional. He explained everything he was doing so I had a clear understanding of what was being done and why. I got extra cards and gave them to my neighbors! Paying ~ $1500 for 11 lbs of R-22 is not a fair price. Did not bother to check for leaks inside the unit which I easily noticed by looking through the top access panel. Now, most of the refrigerant maybe be leaked and I need to get someone else to fix the leak and refill the unit with new refrigerant.

The technicians were supposed to show up between 7:30 to 9:30. When we called the company around 10:30, they told me they had to get a new part for the job. Also, they were to discount the amount for the diagnostic from the final invoice. But they didn't. Truly sorry.
