Iain arrived promptly and shared lots of info about our system. He uncovered a problem that had existed for years undetected by previous HVAC people (NOT from JDL). Iain is clearly an expert in his field. I will definitely use this company again.

JDL responded quickly and diagnosed the problem fixing it on the same day. Service providers were professional and polite and explained the fix before making it.

Came fast to my a/c emergency at commercial facility. Used Griffith Energy before but they always screwed it up. Took six visits from Grifith (DO Zindorf) six trips and the repair lasted two months. JDL came, analyzed, came back next day with parts and Voila!! Done, A/c hasn't been this efficient in years. Great company

she paid way to much and they didn't know what they were doing . She had to force them to leave , very ill mannered . She felt overwhelmed .

I hired them to come take a look at my HVAC system at my rental property. Their technician was so rude to me over the phone and keep cutting my word and not listening. Charges are insane. I got a quote from another company after I hired and paid them, it was way less than theirs. I will never use them again!!!

Ian was our Technician, a smart young man, seemed extremely knowledgeable and customer friendly. Yes, was definitely happy with the response and the explanation of the issue and the recommendations given for fixing it and the advice for the long term options of which choices of systems are available etc. Felt that the added advise for preventing or slowing down mold build up in the HVAC unit was a bonus. They only wanted to replace the complete unit and didn't think it was repairable....when I had another service pro repair and add freon for much less.

I needed a new thermostat, since mine was 30 yrs old. I contacted JDL HVAC, since they were the closest to my home in Columbia. I requested that a new thermostat be installed in my home. I asked their service representative how much the price was, and what kind of device would be used. I was told the installers would tell me. The representatives showed up on the appointed day, with the new thermostat. I asked him how much the total cost would be. I was informed $366 installation included. The Honeywell thermostat they brought was a $40 model. Basically, folks, I should have said **;no, thanks** right there. But the wife was on me to get the new device, and being desperate I paid the huge, exorbitant price. I paid $300 for installation of a simple thermostat. The going rate is half that. There are many alternatives so JDL HVAC. If you like JDL, more power to you. But they will take advantage of any sense of ignorance or lack of knowledge by the customer. I got clobbered and know which companies NOT to hire (ughh).

Prompt service

Came to do the inspection in a jiffy but any follow up or repair is non-existent. They do not respond after contacting for two weeks. Do not waste your time. Too frustrating.
