Difficult problem. Required three visits. All done well and in good spirit. This is a good company.

Not only did they respond to my request for a proposal immediately but they got my installation scheduled faster than anticipated. Everyone that I interacted with from Amber (who was very helpful) to the installation team. They were diligent and focused. Iâ m very pleased with my experience.

JDL called within 30 min of placing my request and set up a visit. They evaluated my AC unit and agreed to repair, despite its age (more than 20 years old!). The cost was a fraction of a new unit. Their lead service tech, Isak, was great - knowledgeable, efficient and responsive to my questions. I was very impressed and will have them return for maintenance and service in the future.

I am sure value is 5 star I just had sudden illness and havenâ  t been able to enjoy it yet. The installers were awesome and very kind as well as knowledgeable.

Excellent service! It took the technicians quite some time to install due to the age of our home. They did an excellent job, and explained how to care for our unit. Additionally, the equipment was delivered and installed as promised, and the office staff was excellent and responsive, too! 100% satitisfied! Would definitely hire again!

JDL HVAC Services breaks the stigma attached to, unfortunately, most of the residential contractors these days. â ¢ The first good feeling that I got from them was their quick response! They replied to my service request within minutes both by phone and by e-mail. This was the first time in recent memory that I can recall when I didn't have to call a company back a week later to check if they received my original request. â ¢ The second positive sign was the friendly and helpful phone representative. She exemplified the true meaning behind CUSTOMER service! She made the extra effort to even find and schedule an appointment a day earlier than what I had reserved online. â ¢ The thing that really won me over by JDL was that not only did the service technician show up within the scheduling window, he arrived 10 minutes before the earliest stated arrival time! Usually I end up calling contractor dispatch when there is only 5 minutes left in the scheduling window only to be told that a situation came up and no one will be out today. â ¢ Once the technician arrived, he was professional, courteous, and followed standard protocol by wearing a mask and protective shoe coverings without being prompted. He inspected the issue and did not try to sell or report anything above and beyond the actual issue. Actually, he said that the system was in good working order as is. He presented me with the option to top off the charge for the system but was in no way forceful or intimidating with his recommendation. I normally don't invest the time required to complete service ratings and/or reviews. However, I feel that JDL HVAC Services deserves to be acknowledged for a job well done in an era where good contractors are hard to find.

I wish to register my very disappointing experience with JDL HVAC services. Our air condition broke down~6-8 weeks ago. We called Angi and went with the first company to call me back, which was JDL services. I was initially taken aback by the required $30 deposit to confirm the appointment as I had never had a similar experience with any home repair company. I however went along as I needed it fixed quickly. The repairman, Rafael, was courteous enough, but it was obvious from the start he was out of his depth. He was constantly on the phone with the **owner** of the company, John(I believe his name was). He diagnosed a leak and gave me the option of specifically pinpointing the leak or injecting a sealant that would automatically seal any leaks. He did the injection, but when he switched on the air conditioning it was not cooling. He was constantly consulting with his supervisor, who claimed the reason was that the weather outside was relatively cool. This was completely inconsistent with my previous AC repair experiences, but again, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and said I would observe how the machine picked up. It never did. We had paid over $600 We called back as Rafael asked us to do so without any problems. We initially got the owners number and he was quite upset we were calling his direct number(I got that number because someone called from that number when they were seeking my business) and I was told to call that number. Anyway, a second repairman, Isaak, showed up. He checked everything out and was not sure of the exact diagnosis, but later sent me an invoice of over $2000 for additional work to be done. We got a second opinion who quickly diagnosed a faulty circuit board and excess freon. The problems were all rectified and we paid $250. The unit is now working perfectly. JDL had even begun to imply we would have to replace the whole unit. The reason I use Angi is to give me some guidance navigating the minefield of home repairs. I remain extremely disappointed on several levels as noted above Sincerely Nana C.

Fast, professional and friendly service. Would recommend!

Very knowledgeable and professional about their job. Informed me of their arrival, made it on time, and advised my AC unit. Explained the problem before repairing to allow me to decide if I wanted to do it. I will definitely use them again.

Canceled the first appt. I had to stay home for 2 days.

They responded quickly on a Sunday to diagnose the problem and job was completed on Tuesday. Technicians were very competent and friendly and the office stayed in communication with me to coordinate their arrival times and let me know when schedules shifted slightly.

Pricing was very competitive and timing met our needs. Only complaint is that they left some debris such as screws and pieces of plastic laying next to where they were working.
