Description of Work: At first, this seemed to be a good contractor. The quality of the storm doors was excellent, the installers were very nice and considerate, and they did more than I expected, but they had the wrong latch piece, so they said they would come back as soon as the right piece came in. They also showed up earlier than planned, but not a problem. That time. I was really happy with the doors otherwise. I got a call just a few weeks later as promised, and once again, they came out earlier than our agreed time, by about 20 minutes. I was working from home, so it wasn't a huge deal, but it was annoying to have to rearrange my day. Then, after more than an hour, they said the office had sent them the same wrong parts and they would have to go away and come back again. Hmm! This was getting to be a pain, as I have dogs that I have to corral and put in the basement, etc. to be able to have the front door wide open for workmen. But I wanted the right latch, so...OK. Today, I got a call 40 minutes early (it was early morning no less!) and although I told the fellow he was too early and I was not even out of bed, he insisted that he had to do it right then, because he had to go to another job far away afterward. I was NOT happy. In addition, I had a gastic 'bug' so I was not in a great mood. I made him wait in the truck until I had the dogs and cats fed, and let the dogs out in the yard. When I told him how inconvenienced I was with this situation, he really didn't seem to be sorry, made excuses and blamed the office. Then, he almost let one of the dogs get loose. He said the person who set appointments had not told him that I had expressly stated I did not want him to come earlier than agreed (I had!), and was put out that I wasn't pleased. The fix was done quickly, but I really didn't appreciate being dragged out of bed 40 minutes early, for the convenience of some repairman, when this was the THIRD time they had sent someone out to fix the problem. Quality of the French storm doors was great, quality of workmanship was excellent, and the first installers even went above and beyond what was needed. But the rest left me unimpressed to say the least. I got a call back from the office and they did apologize. I may use them again, but you can be sure that, if I do, I will make it very clear that they can't roll up at the crack of dawn when the appointment isn't for almost an hour later.
