The work was good. My only issue is that I think they were a little overpriced. He came to the house and pitched our options. I feel that the grade we chose was equivalant to other companies. Their customer service was great! The crew who worked on the attic insulation were extremely late because of traffic and they offered me a discount for the troubles. The salesman even stopped by after the work was complete to make sure we were happy with it.

Everything is good. The workman who performed the work did a good job. However, the salesperson did not have good communication.

Sales experience was very good and the roofing work was done quickly. However, they thought they were finished and were ready for payment when I reminded them I also contracted for new gutters. The gutter work was then scheduled in a matter of days. These guys did not clean up very well at all, small pieces of gutter and bolts were left all around the house. We had a severe wind storm a few weeks later and I lost over 40 shingles. I called the office and got a contact name. Homefix was unresponsive for over a week, it took several phone calls and emails to get their attention. They blamed the cold weather. I was never told that putting on a new roof in cold weather risked keeping it on my house. They did eventually come and replace the shingles at no extra charge and I have had no further problems... which why I rated them satisfactory. But I would not use them again because of their poor communications and responsiveness... after payments were complete.

They came in with the best price by far, they did the work great, and they were overall fantastic. They were on time, they were professionals and really good to deal with. Adam was great to work with and he responded quickly and was specifically great to deal with. He was able to give me what I wanted!

Matt Kavanah (office 703-383-0400) from the Fairfax office of Homefix came to my house to give me an estimate -- I wanted new siding, windows and roof on my 27 year old townhouse. He listened very carefully to what I was looking to do and what my plans were for the house (i.e., I'm looking to sell in the next couple of years) -- no hard sales pitch. Matt picked out/and helped me pick out the same (actually a bit better) quality and colors I was hoping for. A couple of days later he called to set up another appointment with me to go over the estimate. He was very, very thorough and explained everything and answered all my questions. The estimate came in a little higher than the other estimate I received. However, I felt so good about Matt and Homefix -- I went ahead and had them do the work! I wrote a check for one-third of the estimate when I signed the contract; with the understanding that the balance would be due only when every bit of work had been done to my satisfaction. The work was delayed a bit due to hurricane Sandy (apparently the hurricane delayed receiving supplies), but otherwise the work went exactly as Matt had described. All the work - the windows/roof/siding were all completed within ONE WEEK. The workers showed up exactly when they were scheduled and worked really hard (and did a good job cleaning up all the mess). The workers did a fabulous job -even with all the detail work around my front window and door, and around all the vents. The job couldn't have gone better -- my neighbors have all admired the work -- I have a NEW TOWNHOUSE from the outside! I'm delighted,..and oh ya... The finished work was exactly the amount of the estimate I had been given!!!!

Overall a great company with great workers- everything done very professional and well done. A few weeks later we even received a call to make sure all was ok and if we had any questions or concers regarding there product.

Overall, an efficient, professional job. We weren't too excited when they showed up at 7AM (we were expecting them at 8, and it was still dark!) After checking in with us, and getting cars moved, they got right to work, taking down my Xmas decorations and storing in the garage, putting down tarps all around the house to catch debris, and scraping off the existing roofing (really loud-we left for a while). When we got back after lunch, they were done, and all cleaned up! You couldn't even tell that the huge flatbed that brought the supplies in had been there. Looks great-no more sagging areas, nice color and texture. After the big rain we just had, looks like the new lips they installed over the rims of the gutters performed as advertised, no leaking between the house and gutters. We did have one minor casualty, though-lost a wing (flipper?) off one of our holiday penguin decorations-must have fallen off during relocation, and gotten picked up with the debris. The sales manager and customer service rep both followed up a few days later to make sure everything has gone well, and I was satisfied with the service.

The salesman had come to our door on a canvasing effort. We knew we needed a roof and invited him in to talk. We got the old, "I can only do this price today," speech. When we wanted a bit more time, we were asked, "what would it take to close this deal today?" We replied that if they would throw in a new front door that could do it (since we noticed they did that service as well as roofing.) The salesman checked with his boss and they said they would do that. Deal was signed. It took a couple of tries to schedule a date, but we did and the work started. The roofing was done with no issues. We had to call them back a couple of times to pick up the trash and left over nails in the yard since we have small children who use the yard all the time. When we asked about the door, we had to basically argue with the company that they door was supposed to be put in as well. Finally, they relented and sent someone out to measure the door. We were called back later that week and told they couldn't find a door. We looked online ourselves and easily found a door that would work. When we got in touch with the company again and told them what we found online, they scoffed at us because the only door that either the company or us could find was not a cheap door. We were told the company was in business to make money and why would they put this door in for us if it was going to cut into their profits. After several phone calls that were just arguments, we decided to let the whole thing drop and I informed all my friends and family, which includes several real estate agents, about the situation and how they would never do work for us again. On a positive note, after a particularly hard rain, we had a rather large leak from one of our sky lights. We called the company again to request they come fix the job they were supposed to have completed. They promptly sent someone out who quickly assessed the situation and determined the seal around our skylight had deteriorated. The worker fixed it on the spot and we have had no problems with that since. There was no charge for this, but since the issue was with the skylight and not the actual roofing (yes, I did see this with my own eyes) I did not press the issue to have the inside wall inspected and repainted as the paint actually sagged where the leak occurred. From our previous experience with the door, I did not feel I would have had much luck pressing them to fix the wall anyway.

How do you describe PERFECT!!! From the estimate, the wonderful attentive polite office staff, to the supervisors and each and every team member who worked effeciently and professionally.

Our initial contact was with Clay, who was very professional and great to work with. He was very patient with the difficulty scheduling meetings with us due to our unusual schedules. He explained every aspect of the work to be performed from start to finish. There was no "high pressure" sales tactics used. The very day after we signed our contract, our roof was measured. We were pleased to find there was no change needed to our estimated costs. Clay is very good at estimating the amount of shingles needed! Several weeks went by before we heard anything about scheduling a date for the work to be done, but Clay responded to our call quickly and "got it done!" A date was scheduled for the next week. The job was done efficiently, professionally and as described. Clean-up was great. We would recommend HomeFix to others who need a new roof.

the project went very well. The team of technicians arrive first thing in the AM on the scheduled day, and got right to work. These guys were polite, respectful of our home and contents. they set up all the proper air flow pieces and extensions for the bathroom exhaust fans. They did the job quickly and did an excellent clean up job. My only disappointment is that they don't do minor repairs are a general rule. We have leak in a 11 year old roof, and they don't get involved with repairs to projects from other companies. It's an issue over not knowing exactly what is hidden in the other company's work.

Work done quickly. Sliding door arrived damaged and we had to wait for a replacement additional week. Some minor damage done to walls in bedrooms, company made good when informed, by refunding more than we requested.

I saw another house that HomeFix Corporation of Baltimore had done and it looked really great so I decided to go with them. They are very nice and competent. The guy who came to do the quote was very friendly, he didn't try any fancy tricks and came across as trustworthy and knowledgeable. I've been painting around the windows and the quality is really good.

Sales person was great, workers were professional and pleasant, worked extremely well until project was complete, neat, well mannered.

They were punctual. They showed up early and worked until sunset. They had to come back the next day to finish up, and were there early again. The workmanship was excellent. As far as I can tell they were very conscientious about the work being performed. I would definitely hire them again. I was particularly impressed because it was one of the hottest days of the summer, and it didn't seem to phase them.

We love, love, love our new windows and doors. Our condo is about 30 years old and the windows and doors were really showing their age. Homefix sent a representative who sat with us and clearly explained all details and options of the various window grades available. He was professional as well as personal, and easy to understand. We came to an agreement. An employee was sent to take measurements. The windows and doors were ordered. They were installed shortly after. The employees who installed were great. They came right on time, and worked tirelessly throughout the day. They cleaned all debris. They were very professional. When the task was complete, they showed us all the details and how to work everything. We love the clearness of the windows. We love that we can actually open them on good days and let the breeze and fresh air flow through. They are so easy to clean, inside and out. We can open the sliding door with the upmost ease. We are very excited for the savings we'll see from the lower cost in utility bills We've enjoyed our experience and recommend Homefix.

I kind of felt pressured while the guy was there and I signed some kind of contract which I shouldn't have done. The guy was nice and I felt comfortable with him, but then later when I thought about it, I thought why do I need to sign a contract? I felt uncomfortable with it and I cancelled the contract. I thought the price was high for the amount of work that needed to be done. He was understanding while I cancelled the contract and said that’s okay.

Excellent! Crew arrived on time at 8:30 on a Saturday. Needed to move some furniture to get to windows, cleaned up everything!! Wonderful folks to work with!

Homefix utilized the highest quality materials and guaranteed their endurance and proper functioning for 30 years (a guarantee that transfers if one sells the home). (We had a single window crack at one point years ago. It was repaired promptly and at no cost.) Homefix crews always arrived as scheduled, were professional and pleasant, and picked up after themselves scrupulously in every case. The completed work was always excellent. After the most recent job (involving wrapping) , I received numerous comments from my neighbors that our 20+ years home looked "brand new." I recommend Homefix Corporation, without any reservations. I am very pleased with how they have assisted me in repairing and upgrading my home.

I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY AND HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY. THEIR REPRESENTATIVE MAX WAS VERY HELPFULL AND I AM JSUT TICKLED WITH MY NEW WINDOWS. I HAD A FEW ESTIMATES AND I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH MY DECISION. I WOULD FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE YOU COULD GO WRONG WITH THEM BECAUSE IF THEIR DEDICATION TO MAKING ME HAPPY. THE ONLY WARNING IS YOU HAVE TO PAY UP FOR THESE GUYS, BUT AS THEY SAY YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

The sales representative was professional and friendly. He made the estimate process painless and relaxing while informing us on all we needed to know about the home repairs we needed. Everyone from Homefix was courteous and polite. The roofing job, new gutters, and insulation was scheduled within 2 weeks and the installers arrived on time and did a great job. We are pleased with the entire experience and are happy to have a safer and more energy effiecient home!

I WAS SOLICITIED BY SOMEONE KNOCKING ON MY DOOR. I HAD HAD PEOPLE KNOCK ON THE DOOR BEFORE AND NEVER THOUGH OF LETTING THEM IN BUT I DECIDED TO GO FOR IT. JON WOOD WHO I MET WITH WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE AND DESPITE THE FACT THAT I FEEL THE DEFINATELY CHARGE A GOOD BIT FOR THEIR LABOR AND WARRANTY I WENT AHEAD WITH IT. THEY ABOSLUTELY DELIVERED ON EVERYTHING AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY DESICION. I TRUST THAT IN THE FUTURE IF I NEED THEM TNEY WILL BE THERE FOR ME. THE INSTALL WAS VERY COMPLICATED AND THEY WORKED WITH MY AS FAR AS ANY ISSUES THAT AROSE. I DEFINATLEY GOT THE FEELING THAT I WAS WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND THAT THE PREMIUM I PAID TOOK THE WORRY OUT OF THE JOB. I HAVE REFRERED THEM TO MY FIREND AND SHE WAS HAPPY AS WELL. I WILL RECOMEND THEM IN THE FUTURE. I WILL SAY THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE PRICE FOR THEIR WORK AND I AM NO EXPERT ON WHAT OTHER JOBS COST. OVERALL THEY ARE DEFINATELY AN A PLUS

Crew showed up before 7 AM and were gone by 12:30 PM. Very professional with onsite supervisor. Had the number for my sales agent and directed all questions to him. Complied with all agreements except retaining removed materials for inspection. They cleaned up too fast, however I felt the pictures told the whole story anyway, so I was not upset. The roofers were quick and professional and seemed well trained at their craft. There were some issues with my neighbor's roof, which the crew documented and made me aware of, and they even double checked before they started that the new shingles would comply with my HOA. The price was fair, but was sold as a huge bargain. This always seems to be standard in most home improvement negotiations. In fact, I have seen numerous adds for larger roofs that claim the same materials at a similar cost. They all claim "bargain" prices. I don't believe there was any deceptive intent, but rather common sales practice (I once got a sliding door installed for $1280...it started at $2700) in play. Only time will tell the final tale, but I am very satisfied with the work done. Overall Homefix and my contact Jason were courteous, efficient, and kept all their promises. That's a lot of service today.
