She was very personable. Dustin, the electrician who did the installation, was prompt, courteous and did an excellent job. I would definitely purchase this deal again and will highly recommend Hawkins Electrical Services to others.

Description of Work: Serviceman checked out house wiring system, circuit breakers and performed needed upgrades. This included the installation of shutdown device for circuit breaker box, 7 smoke detectors to meet DC requirements, upgrades of electrical plugs, a new thermostat and control for the hot water heater and outdoor lighting. The work was done neatly and efficiently and the serviceman explained clearly what should be done and what the cost was likely to be. He made a special effort to repair the hot water heater's electrical problem, although he explained that a plumber would normally do this. I am comfortable that our aging house's electrical wiring system appears to be in good condition and that all the necessary upgrades were taken care of. My wife and I are particularly pleased with the outdoor lighting that was installed which is a great improvement over what we had before. Although the work did not come cheaply I am satisfied and would use Hawkins again.

Description of Work: I purchased a home electrical inspection from Angie's list and after a few minutes with the electrician was told I didn't need the service. We had an outlet that had stopped working which he found was due to an electrical outlet fed from a junction box in the laundry room that wasn't even fastened with wire nuts, just twisted together. The electrician added the wire nut and all was right again!

Description of Work: After having a home electrical inspection, Dave found a circuit that had a high voltage drop between outlets, and advised making a number of other improvements to the electrical system including adding GFCI to the circuits in the kitchen as well as replacing a faulty light socket. We had him back again to fix the voltage drop problem.
