They were responsive and on time. They cleaned up after themselves really well. The gentleman that came was very friendly and professional. He did a really good job.

The electrician was courteous, timely, and considerate. The dispatch / office staff was understanding when the tenants neglected to answer the door (causing me to run to the job site). The costs were explained well and the work was performed quite well, with the electrician explaining everything and not skimping on time, despite the fact that Hawkins does not charge by the hour. The main benefit to us was their ability to take Credit Cards, rather than checks, allowing us to manage our properties more effectively. However, their prices end up being higher than ideal.

The company was very professional and called me within an hour of dispatching the electrician to my home. The electrician arrived on time and found and corrected the problem at the meter box (a loose wire inside a box) within 20 minutes of arriving. The electrician was very polite, personable and professional. Together with the travel charge, the total fee was $262. However, given the time and effort (and amount of travel) required to find and fix the problem, $262 was pretty high. Even if we had remembered to use the $25 coupon the price still seems high.

I was very pleased with his work. I pleased about the price as they give you an estimate based on what they do. It is some type of formula rather than by the hourly. It didn't take long to get an appointment. He was very nice and professional.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with the Hawkins Electricians. I was very happy with the quality and professionalism of this contractor. I scheduled an appointment with them and they came out the same day. They arrived on time and were finished in a few hours.

I thought that they did a very professional job and they explained everything they did to me in detail including the price. The price stayed the same and did not change form the estimate. I was very impressed with their work.

Great. I was out of town. On a day's notice, they got a key, made the repairs, giving me the exact cost in advance. Use them!

The electrician arrived on time. He explained Hawkins' fixed price circuit diagnosis and repair fee. Together with the travel charge, the total fee was $262. The $25 Angie's List coupon reduced this to $237. The electrician found and corrected the problem at the receptacle very quickly. He wore plastic overshoes inside the house and did not leave any mess. On the whole, the job was done very professionally; however, given the time and effort required to find and fix the problem, even $237 was pretty high.

It went very well. The company is responsive, on time and client focused. I was very pleased and because of the performance I purchased it's Power Protection Plan.

As new house owners we wanted to follow up on some of the items our home inspector highlighted for us. After identifying Hawkins through Angie's List I made an appointment just a few days away. They came over, read through our tiered list of items of concern and provided recommendations of their own. They were very detailed and professional with their estimate (a standardized menu of options - which I believe is used throughout Montgomery County) and did the work quickly.

Prompt and professional. Responded very quickly (2 days) to return to house and correct minor oversight that cut electricity to certain outlets in room where they rewired the ceiling fan. Upfront about prices which though steep was worth it. Sincere and forthcoming; no hidden charges.

As promised, they called half an hour ahead of time to say technician was on his way. Arrived 10:00 a.m. on the dot for a ten to two window. Put on shoe covers and sat down to show me price structure. Was patient with my ideas about the pantry job and offered to waive the $59 trip fee if I decided to do it later.

For this effort, I contacted the main office and requested the same electrician (Dave) that I have used for the past three jobs. Dave called me with an approximate cost of the work to be performed and specification on the fixtures that I would need to purchase. The work took two partial days to complete, but for each day the technicians were on time, completing the agreed upon tasks for that service day. I am very happy with the work. I have used Hawkins s Electric Service since 2000 to update and add electric features to my almost 50 year old house and found their service to be first rate. In the pass, I have had ceiling fans installed in rooms that had no existing ceiling fixtures, outlets added to rooms that did not contain a sufficient number of outlets and "trip" outlets added to bathrooms where no outlets existed. Very please with the service.

My electrician was very professional and seemed totally trustworthy. When they were delayed in traffic, I received a call from the office updating me on their expected arrival time. They wore shoe covers when walking about the house and cleaned up after the work. The work was done professionally. Permit and city inspection was handled seamlessly. Their fixed rate pricing scheme seems very fair and will help you feel better about the ultimate price.

They came in way under the original estimate for the job. They were very friendly and got a huge job done in a timely manner-the only problem was that they forgot to return our house key

IT WAS A PRETTY SMALL JOB, TO PUT IN TWO RECEPTACLES IN OUR BATHROOM. THEY ALSO INSPECTED SOME WIRING FOR US. I FEEL THAT THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND DID A QUALITY JOB AT A FAIR PRICE. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY KEPT IN TOUCH TO MAKE SURE I KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

THE TWO ELECTRICIANS ARRIVED ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY DID NOT ASK THE CORRECT QUESTIONS IN THE BEGINNING SO THEY DID NOT HAVE THE CORRECT BREAKER WITH THEM. SOMEONE HAD TO COME THE NEXT DAY TO FINISH THE JOB.

THE WORK WAS DONE ON TIME. THE WORKERS WERE NICE. THE PRICES WERE REASONABLE.
