Description of Work: They are currently doing my Kitchen renovations. Today the floor is being done, Monday will be the template for the granite and then the brick tile needs to be installed. They have already repaired the ceiling tile from the plumbers, electricians, primed and painted the kitchen in the last week.

Description of Work: Installed bamboo flooring incorrectly. We have huge gaps in between boards and they still have not fixed them. Tried to blame the humidity levels in our home. The floor manufacturer even sent them an inspection report claiming it was faulty installation. They are dragging their feet still since they know they will lose money on this job. They are also not responsive at all and put a customer service rep. as the lead communicater. She had nothing to do with the mistakes that were made.

Description of Work: We had hardwood floor installed in our large master bedroom. We had removed the builders grade carpet and padding ourselves. Floormax came in and installed the hardwood to match same hardwood in the hall. They did an wonderful job and we are very pleased. Thorough cleam up and removal of boxes and debris. Should we need additional flooring in the future we will DEFINATELY go to Floormax. Happy in Clarksburg, Maryland! Betty

Description of Work: the salesman, ray ansari and the product were/are excellent, however the installation crew i would not allow in my home again. the men (3) were very pleasant when i told them what i expected but they then totally ignored my instructions and did what they pleased. part of the floor was not covered, the carpet has large buckles and they tore up one of the strips adjoining the other carpet (which we now need to replace) and one small place was cut too short. i think they were just handymen, not experienced carpet installers. the leader smiled and said "yes" when i told what was to be done then didnt do it...perhaps they did not speak english

Description of Work: We had carpet replaced in our town house. They installed a nice brand of carpet, with padding (and removed the old stuff) in two bedrooms, two sets of stairs, hallways and our basement.
