Great, Brian the electrician did a awesome job. Brian was here for nearly 6 hours. Very Professional. This was not his first time here to do electrical work for me. I have other lighting projects in the near future( 4 to 6 months out) and would hired C.D. Williams in the future.

They are based in Laurel, MD. The electrician lives 30 seconds down the road from me. So instead of going into the office, he gets what he needs the previous day and came at 7:00 in the morning. He works fast. He works in six hours what some electricians would do in eight hours. He knocked out all of the drywall because when you put in brick slates, you have to put it on concrete board. When the drywall was knocked out, he had all of the open space he needed to do the electrical work. I would definitely use him again. In fact, I will use him this fall. Only one guy came out and he was in and out in five working days. The living room was a whole day by itself. The kitchen was another 3-4 days. He was on time. He showed up early and was done early in the day. If he needed anything, he would go to the electrical supply house and pick it up. I picked out the lighting fixtures, and he hung them. I got these flat switches for the kitchen instead of the regular up and down switches. I had gotten a half dozen of them. They are very nice. He also moved an outlet where the pantry is now, and reverse it where it goes downstairs on the other side of the wall. In my town home, when you plug the vacuum in you have to plug it all the way into an outlet a good distance away. So, just reversing it and putting it in the middle of the hallway. That way, when you vacuum the steps, you don't have a long cord from the vacuum cleaner. The owner was very nice. I dealt with him and his wife, she does all of the bookkeeping. He was always very nice. He came out to give me the estimate. Scott was a very hard and fast worker. He didn't even have to turn off the electricity, he worked with hot wires.

They did a fine job. I was very please with their work. I really well pleased with the company. I would tell someone with no hesitation on someone hiring them. They are responsible and competent. The workers are very nice.

Work was done as scheduled. Job could have been done more neatly. I think the outlets in the house should have been updated to three prong sockets, but I didn't know to ask for that at the time the work was done. I called recently when a breaker tripped and I didn't recognize what was wrong. C.D. Williamas staff was very responsive.

Extremely overpriced. After work electrician left a mess for me to clean up.

C.D. Williams went above and beyond to help me with a difficult electrical issue in my townhouse. Doug, the owner, coordinated with both BGE and my AC installer to get the issue resolved. He was available anytime I called or texted and he never made me feel like I was pestering him even though I contacted him numerous times. He also charged me a very fair amount for all the work that I had him do to resolve the issue. The customer service at C.D. Williams is exceptional and they are now my go-to company for anything electrical.

The electrician arrived on time (exactly on time). He recognized the problem immediately. Everything was fixed within 30 minutes.

Chris arrived promptly at 7am for the estimate and to do the work. Other companies just gave me a quote over the phone or via angle's list messaging. Chris actually came out to give me an in person estimate and was able to see what was needed for the job. He was in and out and didn't make a mess in the process. We love our lights. He did a great job!

The thing that impressed us the most is that Mr. Williams was willing to come in the late afternoon of the day that we discovered the problem.He not only got the garage doors working but also took the time to make sure that our breaker box was in good working order and that he main power cable to the house was not torn or cracked open. He did all this in a professional but friendly manner. We will certainly use him again whenever we have an electrical problem at our houyse

Doing remodeling in older home and wanted to make sure electricity to dishwasher and refrigerator was run correctly. I checked Angies List to see if there was a company close to our house that had favorable reviews, and found CD Williams, and great reviews for Chris..............was Not disappointed ! Chris was great, punctual, courteous, professional. He discovered one minor problem with a no fault and thoroughly checked the other receptacles. Couldn't be happier, and would recommend Chris and C D Williams! e

This was my first time calling CD Williams for electrical work and I couldn't be happier. Scott was the technician who stopped by, on time, to begin the work. After a quick discussion on what needed to be done, Scott quickly got to work and was able to accomplish our tasks within the hour. We were very happy with the quality, efficiency, and professionalism of the work. CD Williams has become our electrician of choice because of their expertise, professionalism, and cost.

Chris is awesome. He came out within 30 minutes of my call and had the work completed in the same amount of time. He did not try to scam me by spending a long time trying to figure out the problem with my ceiling fan. Within just a couple of minutes he had the problem solved-all I needed was new battery for the rwall switch/remote! I would absolutely use him again and will highly recommend him to my friends.

I initially found CD Williams from Angie's list and wanted to give them a try. That was two years ago and since that time, this time was the third service call they made to my house. On their van, it says: "Quality work" and "reasonable price". They are not slogans, objectives or goals. They consistently deliver real quality service (very knowledgeable people) and real reasonable rates. Other providers would have charged double digit premium over what they charge and not half as good!! My washer and dryer quit working on Saturday. So I tried the fuse box and nothing happened. So I was stumped. I called CD Williams and they have two rates... emergency 24 hour service with higher rates and weekday service at lower rates. Since it is not an emergency, I asked for a Monday appointment. Chris Wilde came promptly on schedule... actually a little early. Look at the issue, did some testing, and promptly found that the problem was in the socket. So he replaced the socket and everything were working again. No matter they have different people every time, they were all punctual, professional, knowledgeable, get the job done quick without dragging it all, and charges very reasonable rates. One really cannot ask for more. Hope they continue this service and I will be all set any time I need an electrician! I highly recommend this provider with no reservation at all! You absolutely cannot go wrong with this provider and you will be glad you save some money in doing so.

I called the provider on a Sunday night. They said some one will call me back. After about 20 minutes, I got antsy and called again. Then Dough Williams call back in about 10 minutes. After I explained the problem, he said he would find some one to fix the problem but being a Sunday night, it might be difficult. He called back in about 20 minutes and said he found some one and will the technician will show up in about an hour and a half as he has to pick up the service van. The technician showed up in a punctual manner. Went right to work, He was a pro as he id the problem immediately without doing a lot of guessing around. He fixed it quickly and water service was restored. Dough Williams also called back the next morning to touch base to make sure everything is OK. Great providers and could not ask for more.

Very pleased with the outcome. Scott (Electrician) was fast, efficient, punctual and thorough. No issues at all except the lag time required for the electrician to return to complete the job. Call as soon as you know you need work done. All company personnel was pleasant and professional and easy to work with.

The electrician found a short in the circuits to my dishwasher and garbage disposal. It was strangely enough in my furnace area. He was very efficient and professional. I have used them before and would use them again.

The electrician arrived on time and was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. He took great care to hang the fixture straight and centered. He answered all my questions and performed the work efficiently. The staff person who scheduled the appointment was pleasant and accommodating.

The appointment went very well. I am waiting to hear back on a quote for the work that will need to be done on the house.
