I had power outage in garage, hallway, kitchen and dinning room. He troubleshot the problem, traced it to a wall socket in the garage and fix the outage very quickly. He was very polite, friendly, and professional (even took off his shoes going from the garage into the house). I had called late Friday evening and left a message to call me. He called right back. I explained the problem and made an appointment for Sunday (he was booked solid for Saturday). There was no premium charge for a Sunday.

Ruben was absolutely superb. I interviewed and received 4 estimates from various contractors, but chose Ruben and his Best Way Electric team. He lsitened to what I wanted done, emailed me a proposal which was VERY reasonable and then I authorized work. He was very quick and efficient. My large concern was running power from the basement electrical service panel to the 2nd floor bath for the jacuzzi tub. All of the other electricians said they would have to punch holes in the walls in my living room to run the power, but not Ruben. He found that there was already a conduit running up the middle of the house and used this as his access, thus not inflicting any damage to my walls. Additionally, he is very knowledgable about the various codes and also shows you your load capacity for the home before doing any work. He did not try to push anything in order to make more money, but instead, his objective was to do things right and a quality job. Of note, his office is in Laurel MD, but my home is in LaPlata MD and there was no problem with him coming to Charles County to work on my home. I highly recommend him to any and all Angies list members and will use him again in the future.
