Description of Work: We've had a number of bad experiences with them - one was their installation of a faulty air conditioner which they became argumentative over, one was the "fixing" of a leak from an upstairs toilet and one was installation of a new radiator on our first floor. On the bathroom toilet leak they not only made the leak worse (overnight we suddenly had water streaming onto our kitchen counter) when they returned, the person they sent said it was not their work!!!! They also sent out the wrong person on the radiator, gave us a $1,200 estimate for new faucets in our bathroom (the competent plumber we have since found installed a beautiful set for under $400) and they left the bathroom filthy after they "fixed" the upstairs toilet. They are overpriced and under professional. Bad combo platter. Stay far, far away !

Description of Work: I have a maintenence agreement with ARS. Different service men come each time, but I have never had a bad experience with them over about 15 years. They are never rushed, know their business, the history of my heat pumps, explain clearly what they've found and never press for add ons, upgrades, etc. Work is always complete and I've never had to have them come back. Over the years I've replaced both heat pumps. Always done right art a fair price.

Description of Work: I have had endlessly bad experiences with ARS. The only reason I still have used them is because they have had to repair projects they have messed up before. Almost every thing they have done hAs had to be redone. If I have a new project I'll use someone else. When they replaced my furnace I had to call the state licensing office to get them to repair their shoddy work, They do come back and try to fix poorly done work and don't charge me, but hey are consistently late and charge outrageous prices. Never use them!!

Description of Work: Called for initial evaluation. Person came and did nothing. Charged us $120 for coming. Tried to get us to buy a new unit.

Description of Work: Installation of carrier furnace, removal of old furnace, installation of Aprilaire, installation of stainless steel chimney liner and chimney cap, one year service contract and new thermostat.
