Description of Work: Cleaned, covered, and filled pond for the winter

Description of Work: Jim McChancy was hired to repair a number of faults with our fish pond, from leaks to poor water circulation and general looks. The pond is mid size, about 10 ft wide and 8 feeet long. | |Jim worked with us to design a new pond, taking advantage of what could be saved from the old design. He told us that he would work on the npond in blocks of time as his schedule allowed. We were ok with that, since there was no time emergency. Jim built a beautical new pond using the best equipment for circulation and filtering. He cheerfully changed things that did not work to his satifaction and to ours. He is a patient craftsman and builder, and his pond reflects these fine qualities. He charged at his estimated cost. | |I highly recommend Jim.

Description of Work: I hired Aquarium Services Group in the summer of 2007 to design and install a 1,500 gallon KOI fish pond in my backyard. I had utilized Jim's services and expertise in creating my saltwater aquariums at home, so I knew he would create the pond to my liking. Jim provided us with an estimate, which was the actual cost ( no more, no less). Over the years, Jim has provided services in closing the pond for the winter. He thoroughly cleans the pond. He install my heater and covers the pond with meshing to keep the leaves out. In the spring he again cleans, fills, and provides all chemicals needed. What is most impressive is his rates haven't changed during the entire time. Additionally, when I have had troubles (i.e. leaks, blue herons), he either calls back within 24 hours to resolve. In fact during this spring opening, we had a leak in the skimmer. Jim responded immediately and has fixed it. My charge was just the fee for opening. This is still not the most impressive aspects of Aquarium Service Group, Jim takes pride in his work from cradle to grave. My only costs have been the initial cost of building and yearly opening and closings. I have NEVER received a bill or charge for any other services or calls.
