Very high pressure. They were almost insistent that both spouses be present "as they have had problems in the past when one spouse chooses something the other doesn't like". Dispatcher called to reconfirm appointment with same complaint. If this was for just an estimate, why did both need to be there?

Excellent. Thompson Creek personnel precut gutters, etc., on 10 September, and removed/replaced on 17 September. Work included our patio enclosure. Employees were courteous, did excellent work, and cleaned up afterwards. Have had no problems with gutters and downspouts since installed.

There were absolutely no issues. Everyone from the salesman, to the scheduler, to the measurer and the installers were punctual, professional, accomodating, and friendly. They did not try to up-sell me, they knew I wanted windows. I was briefed that they did more than that, but there was no pressure to do more than what I called them for. ***REFRESHING*** Since the installation, my electric bill has dropped on a month-to-month comparison to last year's energy use. I have since had to have them come out once to repair a night lock on one of my double-hung windows. The wonderful gentleman showed up early for the 4 hour timeframe they gave me, drove 50+ miles to repair the part they could have sent to me through the mail, and was quick to do the fix. No extra payment required. All part of the guarantee. They worked with me on financing as well. Very easy process. I love this company and when it comes time to do my doors, I'm calling them.

From beginning to end I had a wonderful experience with Thompson Creek Window Company, if you're in the marketing for gutter, window, or door repair/replacement I would suggest using them...very impressed.

Thompson Creek replaced two original builder grade entry doors with steel ones. We shopped around for prices and they were not the cheapest but we decided to go with them based on their great reputation. They were professional from start to finish. They protected all surfaces before starting and cleaned up so well you could not even tell they had been here. The doors look great and are so much better than the ones we had before. I would highly recommend Thompson Creek and will call them if we have future needs.

We had a few bumps along the way, yet the overall end result was worth it. Our salesman, Robert Harting, was superb from start to finish. Upon our initial sales call, we knew he had our best interest at heart and would advise us along the way. Due to financial constraints, we were not able to commit to the full job to be done all at once. He recommended that we secure our sales price (which according to all reports was their best price offering of the year) by just starting with the basement windows, which we did back in April. In July, we were able to proceed with the remaining windows, yet wanted to split the job between 2 different install days. I needed to have them do the back of the house first, then the following week do the front of the house (for health reasons). This was the first bump of the job. Robert told me that doing the install on two days would not be a problem, yet when they came to do the measuring of the windows, our project coordinator, Josh, told me this could not be accommodated. The next day, we received a call from Beth, the executive assistant of Rick Wuest, (president of the company), apologizing for the misunderstanding. She assured us that having the job done over 2 weeks would not be a problem and it was set up this way. As to the performance of the actual job, the team came out, and we had the windows to the back of the house done first. They behaved professionally and got the job done efficiently, despite the threat of rain all day, and cleaned up well after themselves. The quality control supervisor, Brian, came out at the end of the day, did his inspection and gave his approval of the work done. However, when my husband came home, he found significant problems with the quality of the workmanship. He placed a call to Josh and they sent out a different field supervisor, Vince, to check things out. When Vince saw the windows, he agreed that, indeed, there were significant issues that needed to be corrected. These included: incorrect caulk was used on interior of windows, windows had not been cleaned completely at install, several of the windows should not have passed factory inspection and had to be replaced, lips had sharp edges, along with other more insignificant details. The company vice president, Brian Wuest, also came to our home to inspect and he recognized the problems, validating our concerns. The important thing to acknowledge here is that the company reacted swiftly, recognized the errors, validated our concerns and made all corrections in a timely, professional manner. They sent out a different team for the install of the front shutters and the windows to the front of the house. This team was led by Edwin, who, in our opinion, did a perfect job. He was meticulous, professional, handled himself well, was detail oriented and produced a beautiful end result of picture-perfect windows and shutters for the front of our house. Edwin and Vince also corrected all the errors made on the back windows. Once the windows were done to our satisfaction, we then had Robert come out again so we could order the front door. I wanted to mention some details about this to again recognize his assistance and professionalism. We knew that we wanted a new front door, but were not sure exactly which door. His skill in aiding our selection process facilitated the choosing of the perfect door for us. He had a great technique for narrowing choices and also informed us of options that we would not have known except for his timely advice. Another thing happened when the person came to do the measurements for the door that demonstrated "going the extra mile". When we were deciding on an install date for the door, Carl (who did the measuring) actually called the manufacturer of the door to verify that it could be produced within 4-6 weeks so that the install could be completed in October. We also requested that Edwin and Vince lead the team for the front door install, which was honored. The install of the front door went well with Edwin, again, doing a perfect job. We are entirely satisfied with how everything turned out. Now the front facade of our home has an absolutely beautiful, fresh, new appearance and great curb appeal thanks to Thompson Creek!

We were very pleased with the windows, and the professionalism of the crew, sales staff, and office staff. While the cost was a bit higher than Thompson Creek competitors, the quality of the windows seems to be superior to what we had seen. We were so pleased that we are having this same company come back to complete the rest of the windows in our home. Since the outside of the windows had to match the trim on our townhouse due to community by-laws, the windows were specially made to do just that...and they look terrific.

The process was very smooth from start to finish. The companies reputation, quality of the product and efficiency of the employees was very impressive. That plus the double lifetime guarantee sealed the deal! All of the staff members we dealt with from Thompson Creek were very professional and provided excellent customer service. The staff who installed our gutter system arrived at the scheduled time. The installers inspected the existing fascia board very carefully to make sure they only replaced fascia board where it was actually needed. The installers were also very polite and did a great job with cleaning up after they finished the job. One of the guys was kind enough to use his leaf blower to clean the leaves off my roof and he also blew them off of my driveway! We have numerous large trees in our yard which caused our old gutters to clog on a regular basis. The fact that the Thompson Creek Ultimate Gutter Solution system is guaranteed to never clog was a big selling point for us. When we had several days of rain recently, it was nice to see the rainwater come out of the downspout, instead of overflowing from the top of the gutters like it often did before we got our new gutters from Thompson Creek.

A few days later I got an email from the sales manager saying something about needing to meet their monthly sales quota, and if he could offer me a good price, was I still interested. I said yes, and the reply came back at $3,600. I agreed, asked for the contract, but have not yet returned it as I am still getting bids.

Was approached by a door to door sales person. I needed new gutters so I agreed to a consultation. The representative presented a good case for his product and I was impressed by the quality of the product. The cost was a bit high but the warranty and service was top notch. The installers arrived at the appointed time and were done within a reasonable time. They cleaned up afterwards very well. The Thompson Creek gutters are more expensive than other products but they are very well made. I don't mind paying a bit more for a quality product that will last.

The installation crew showed up on time and were finished with the job quickly. The quality assurance professional from Thompson Creek showed up to observe their work and check to make sure it was a job well done. Overall I was very pleased withe installation and continue to be pleased with the product.

Agent Nixon made the appointment, set the price and schedule. Windows installed, worked fine ( only a small cosmetic repair caused some issue and a screen gasket but were taken car of. The one year interest free program had a glitch but Customer Service took care of it. Most important sales point? The guarantee passes on to the next owner.

The crew arrived on time. They reviewed the job and got to work. Each area was prepped to keep the area clean as they were working. The crew worked very efficiently together as each member did their part. As each area was finished, a member of the crew cleaned the window and the area where they were working. When the job was finished, the foreman walked through the house with me to be assured everything was in order. He instructed me in the use and care of the windows.

The TC crew arrived exactly on time and went through each room to make sure my windows were the proper fit. After verifying each window was correct, they began to replace each window one room at a time. The installation crew was very professional, respectful of my property and left my home cleaner than they found it. I have recommended Thompson Creek to all my neighbors and family members. My original sales pitch was very pleasant Mr. Kowalski was our sales representative and he was very professional and knowledgeable. Our gutters had been torn off of our home during a storm and Thompson Creek's turn around to get this taken care of was lightning quick. The pricing was very reasonable and on the day of install the work was completed in one day (less than 3 hours). I was very pleased with the whole experience. About a year later we replaced the gutters on the back of the home and as previous customers who already knew the process it seemed to move even faster than the first go around. Mr. Keiling was our sales rep the second time around he also was very professional and courteous (it feels like working with a big happy family when dealing with the creek). I also was very pleased with our Project Coordinator Robert he made sure things moved very swiftly and he stressed that my satisfaction was key. Recently we needed service on our gutters and Thompson Creek came out free of charge and un-clogged our entire gutter system (apparently Robert is now a Service Coordinator and he was right there to pick up where he left off). Overall I am ecstatic with my experience with Thompson Creek and can't wait until I can afford to have them replace my siding!

The project went without a single problem or issue. A truly professional job. First contact with Thompson Creek got the ball rolling and was professional and friendly. The salesman showed up on time and was prepared with examples of sliding door units and pricing. We selected the one we wanted and a couple of days later, a person showed up and took measurements. This was a custom build and everything was done quickly and to great detail. The guy answered all our questions. Then about 3 weeks later, the unit was delivered and the two installation guys did a great job in both removing the old door unit and cleaning up along with installing the new unit and caulking to ensure a tight fit. Everything went as planned and we are very happy with the door and the experience working with Thompson Creek. We plan to talk to them again about replacing our front door. You should have no hesitation in working with them.

Stage 1: Initial Meeting A representative came out and talked to us at the exact time promised. He showed us options for Patio Doors and took measurements. We were given payment options including financing. We were able to take advantage of discounts as we had been approached by another representative who was canvasing the neighborhood based on their doing work nearby. Before he left we had selected our doors and chose a schedule date for installation. I received confirmation of the scheduled date within a half hour of his departure. Stage 2: Installation Day: The day of installation started off quite rainy. I wasn't sure they were going to come out, but after a call to my rep, and a confirmation from the installation crew, I was informed that we were on schedule. I had already received a couple of emails 2 weeks prior informing me of what I needed to do prior to installation day and also for the day of. The crew showed up and as they started to remove the old doors and quickly found out that our flooring had rotted underneath. He called a quality assurance technician who came to the house and quickly assessed what the repair cost would be. They happened to have materials with them that wasn't needed for the current job, so we had no real expense other than the additional half hour of labor. I'm pretty sure some companies would have just installed new doors over the bad floor in an effort to keep the cost down and to hurry up and finish the job. The installation was completed on time, they were able to save our existing trimming (a custom oak style trim). They matched the outside flashing and made everything look like it was designed at the same time. Final note on installation: The technician found that part of the track was damaged in transit. While the door worked fine, he immediately called and set up a follow-up appointment for someone to come out and install a replacement track. Stage 3: The finished project The repair is scheduled for next week. A technician had come out last week, but had been given the wrong part. To avoid confusion, he took pictures and sent it to the main office to make sure no mix-ups happened again. The doors have cut down on a huge amount of noise. The wall they are on faces out onto a major road that gets a lot of traffic. Once the doors are close, we hear nothing. The doors are beautiful, have several new locking features, and have changed the entire wall on both sides. I would recommend Thompson Creek to anyone in the area and plan on using them again for another patio door replacement and at some point window replacement as well.

Project manager has been very helpful. Called to let me know team was stuck in traffic. They began work as soon as they arrived. The single issue that arose regarding window sill replacement was handled quickly by the PM and QA specialist.

Excellent presentation of work before we started, good price, follow up phone calls before work started. The installers were on time, polite and worked quickly and efficiently.

The overall experience was amazing. At no point during the ordering, measuring or installation process did we ever feel uncomfortable, rushed or pressured. The person who did the measuring and inspection of the jamb was efficient, answered all of our questions and gave us a good understanding of how the process would continue. The communication was stellar. We can honestly say that we have never had better experience with the scheduling of a project, keeping us posted relative to when the work would be scheduled, giving us a reminder that the day of installation was approaching, giving us a time frame that the work would be accomplished and follow up after the installation was complete. The day of installation, the team arrived when expected. They walked us through how it would go. As they made improvements and repairs on our 30 year old door frame they made sure we understood what they were doing and why. During the installation, a supervisor came by to check the progress, made sure there were no issues, and answered questions that we hadn't thought of asking prior. They finished the work in slightly less time than projected. When they left, everything was clean, all debris removed and checked to make sure that we didn't have any more questions. The doors are gorgeous and are a fabulous addition to our home. The following week we received a call to make sure that we weren't having any problems and to give us a contact person that we could call if something came up. Let's face it. Experiences like this are few and far between these days and anyone who offers this level of service and quality of product deserves to receive a few accolades.
