Pricey, but very good quality product. Installers were good, but I had to point out several areas where the existing sheathing had to be replaced after they had already covered it. I may use them for windows in the future.

Initially difficult with Swales person who made mistakes with order, but then all went well

Thompson Creek first got my attention when I heard that President Obama visited them in his campaign for energy efficiency. I reviewed all similar providers and products (including on Angie's List, of course) and selected Thompson Creek to replace all of the windows in my home. I could not be happier with the quality of the windows. My sales representative was Al Kowalski. He explained all of the window features in detail and promised that I would have the windows in on time - and Thompson Creek delivered on the installation date.. The installation crew was pleasant, efficient and paid terrific attention to detail all during the installation. For instance, the basement window sills were concrete and not perfectly level. The installer hand cut the base of the window to fit the uneven surface. Thompson Creek was also able to accommodate my tight schedule and get the windows in before the end of the year - kudos to them for that!. In addition, the crew cleaned up beautifully - no remnants or trash anywhere, swept up, etc. I wish I knew all of their names, but I did tip everyone and I encourage other customers to do the same. :-) I had an energy audit conducted before the windows were installed and a check-out audit after the windows were installed, the attic was sealed and the insulation upgraded. There was a marked improvement and now my home is well below the recommended standard for energy efficiency, and I can expect a big improvement in my electric bill.. So I'm looking forward to this winter in a draft-free warm home. Thank you, Thompson Creek!

Exhaustive sales pitch. High pressure tactics. Made it appear as though contract had to be signed by end of pitch to get price. Will not be doing business with this company in the future. A reputable contractor would allow time to review and evaluate a proposal

I phoned this company after their great reviews on AL. My feedback is about their sales tactics over the phone. The person I spoke with was very rehearsed and I felt like I was already under a great deal of pressure on just the initial phone call. I was encouraged beyond comfort level to have my partner at the meeting and then was pressed for reasons why I may not return a post-visit sales call. After the call I checked Yelp and found all sorts of negative reviews about sales tactics so I canceled my appointment. Plenty of friendly, low-pressure sales people out there. In fact another company came out, no pressure AT ALL - in fact neither myself or my partner were required to be home for the initial quote and I got a firm quote, measurements and etc. with no hassle whatsoever.

Everything was done as promised, when promised. The installers were very efficient, and the install and cleanup went great.

The service turned out great, they did a great job. I would recommend them for the excellent quality of product, and good customer service.

They stand behind their work. If they say there is a problem, they will come back and fix it. They did an excellent job on the windows. They provide quality service. I didn't compare their prices. I've had them out 3 separate times.

The door never fit properly. It looked okay and the quality was good. They sent somebody out and they are going to replace it at at no cost.

I was very happy with them and they did a great job. They were good and I recommend them. They were punctual, on time and did what they said they were going to do. They finished when they said they were going to be done. I heard about them from a friend who used them and she was very happy with them. Their quality of service was very good.

They are a good company. Everything turned out very well. They did a good job and we went with them again. We really did not look into other ones, but we knew these are good products. I believe in the company. It is an excellent company.

They're very expensive but they're great. I spent between $2000 and $4000.

We spent right about $60,000 for both services. The sliding french door was expensive; it was $7000. I didn't realize their doors costed that much. They had 2 separate crews: the guys for the windows and the guys for the siding. The window guys were in too big of a hurry to get the windows out because they cracked a frame and that type of stuff. They patched up but they pulled the caulk around the window loose and they had to re-caulk them. However the guys that did the siding were awesome. They said if we had any problems we could let them know. For example, some of our siding had huge holes in it and they had to go back and get some raw particle board and they cut through the sheets to the sizes that were needed to do the repairs, and they even came on Mother's Day to complete the job. They didn't have to come out that day because they were scheduled the Monday after to finish and so they did it and finished ahead of time. We had carpenter ant damage so they fixed it and that took a bit of time and another issue we had was rain that fell for about 2 days.

It turned out perfect. They do good work and they are 300 miles from where I live. They give you a detailed scope the work and what they will do. They will come immediately if something happens and take care of it. The price was very competitive.

I had an excellent experience with them. I plan to use them again in the future.

The service went great. The price was for eight windows. I would recommend them. They were very responsive. They followed-up along the way. We had a sales person come out. We had someone come out to measure. We had calls before the appointment for installation to make sure we did not have any questions. The installation went quickly. They cleaned up after themselves. Someone came to check their work at the end of the installation process. So, I thought they were a very responsive company.

Once they were finished, it turned out well. They never brought the tempered glass for the bathroom and that is a safety violation. So, we got in trouble for it. Then, they came back and finally corrected that. Then, two of the big windows did not match across the board, but I must say it just taken a while, but in fact, they corrected everything. Now, I am good. It took about a couple months because they had to remake the windows and then, they came and put it in. They found out when they came to put it in, the obscured glass somebody forgot to put tempered. They had to take them back and redo them again.

The service worked out fine. They were here promptly, finished it, and gone.

It turned out well. There was one issue but they took care of it. They were very professional and they took care of the item very quickly and did a good job.

It was good. Their follow up service is good as well.
