THEY WERE GREAT BUT SHOULD HAVE DONE BETTER TO FOLLOW UP, I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE WORKERS INSTALLING IN 9 DEGREES BELOW ZERO

The work was performed in a very efficient manner. There was some misunderstanding on the count of the windows - the original estimate was based on counting two windows as one (with a single opening), but when the contractor came to do the final measurements, we were informed that these are actually two windows and that the estimate would be significantly revised upwards. Since the revised estimate made the offer non-competitive, we were about to go with another contractor. Thompson Creek made every effort to bring down the price to make their bid competitive. Accepting their mistake, TC management agreed to honor the original estimate. We were very impressed with their commitment to the clients.

Once the order was placed, the transaction was smooth and efficient. I was contacted when I was told I would be and the work was begun and completed when I was told it would be.

Installers did a great job especially with the caulking of the windows.

I love my new windows! I noticed a difference in the temperature in my bedroom immediately. It was much warmer, and with this extremely cold winter, it was obvious that the rooms with the new windows were not drafty and much more comfortable than before. They were very good about cleaning up as they were working.

It turned out pretty good. It took them a half day to the work, as they removed the rotted parts prior to installing the door. The project manager came by after the crew finished to make sure everything was done correctly. They called to confirm before they came out as well. We had them do gutter protection a few years ago and were happy about that experience too. We also like that they do a lifetime gutter cleaning. We have been satisfied every time that they've come out.

It turned out very well. They're courteous and very professional, and followed up with us to ensure everything was done correctly.

They did a wonderful job. They were done in a day. They did identify a problem and came back to fix it on their own.

I did a lot or research and Thompson Creek has clearly the best gutter system on the market. They use heaver aluminum an integrated leaf guard and proprietary brackets that are guaranteed never to pull away from the house. In fact they give a double lifetime guarantee, for you and whoever you should sell the house to. So why didn?t I give them a perfect A+ rating?PRICE. Of course you would expect to pay more for such a good product, but did I get ripped off? There is no way of knowing, they sell the product like a used car dealer! The salesman won?t even talk price until he measures your house and gives you a one hour presentation, then he gives you not one, not two, but three prices? The mysterious Retail price, the more mysterious one year guarantee price and finally the ?today only? better move fast price. So when I said I thought the price a little high and that I would need to do more research?.out came the ?how much were you thinking and let me call my manager price! If you don?t like buying cars you will hate this sales tactic. That being said, all the people I dealt with at every part of the process were very friendly and anxious to be of assistance, and the installers were hard working and very professional. Would I use them again?..I wish I knew whether or not I got a good price!

I didn't feel pressured. I liked the salesperson that came out and they are a local company. The windows look great. They didn't tell me if I didn't say yes right then I was going to take away the deal. They were easy to deal with. I would use them again.

This is the second property within 6 months for which I have contracted with Thompson Creek to replace windows. Before I talk about this job, I need to state that the work in my current residence has helped lower my utility bills enormously. For example, for the 2700 finished Sq. Ft. home, the mid- February- mid-March 2015 electric bill was $268; a year ago it would have been over $500. In addition, in the recent winter storm accompanied by 60 mph high winds, there were NO drafts anywhere in the house - I mean NONE (I checked every room). I state this because the company's claims - beautiful windows, easy to clean, tightly sealed, and ENERGY EFFICIENT - have proved true. So if you receive an estimate, you can be sure that their product is as advertised, and the claims will prove to be met or exceeded. For the property in question, the estimate was friendly and detailed, the measurements were efficient, and the windows were delivered and installed on schedule, in one day. For this property I replaced the front door. The estimator assisted me in designing the perfect steel front door online, and I selected every detail. The door is beautiful, sturdy, and strong. I also replaced all of the shutters to match the door - top quality panel shutters that look beautiful. The property now looks fresh and new. I had to change the installation date; the project manager was easy to work with and the change was easily made. The company then had to change the date - I gave them my deadline and we selected another date. The crew showed up on time, and I had especially asked them to bring protection for the floors, as I have hardwood throughout and a brand new floor on the first level. They brought in runner after runner, every surface protected - no damage to any of the floors. They were polite, efficient, and finished up in one day. The windows were finished perfectly and diligently caulked. They look fantastic and my house now sparkles. The new owner will receive a transferable lifetime warranty good for the duration of their ownership, and Thompson Creek guarantees every aspect of their product - latches, sealing, as well as glass and frame. Two thoughts: 1) If you are hesitating, take a look at their video testimonials. I never thought I would be excited about windows, but it makes SUCH a difference in appearance and energy efficiency. 2) If you are thinking about springing for a new door, the doors are not the least expensive you can find, but they are impressive and beautiful. Makes a huge difference in appearance. For quality, beauty, and efficiency at a reasonable price, you need look no further. Thank you, Thompson Creek!

Three or four technicians were out and completed the work in a few days.

Our experience with them went well. I'll use them for more windows. The process went well, in terms of the explanations and the confirmation of the service appointment and follow-up. When they were done, someone else came out and inspected it.

We received two other quotes for replacing windows in our home. Two windows desperately needed replacing, but they were all about 20 years old and pretty crappy. After doing some research I realized it was more cost-efficient to replace them all at the same time. Thompson Creek is not the cheapest, but their price is competitive for what they provide. One of the other quotes we received was double what we paid for these windows. Our salesman was very nice, knowledgeable, and not pushy. Every single window in our house was a different size so each window had specific measurements. We also got a bit more of a discount for agreeing to be more flexible with our installation date. In the end our windows were still installed on the original scheduled day. The Quality Control guy came and explained that the team was doing well and he didn't see any issues. There was wood rot on two windows and our sales rep had quoted us $7 a foot to replace that. Turns out it's about $169 per window, I think! Well, TC still only charged us $7 foot and also for one window, rather than two. That ended up only costing us $21 extra. For our contract they also agreed to remove the window awnings on our house at no extra cost. They did that and it looks so much better. The team arrived on time and got to work right away. It took them 11 hours, but the completed the job in one day. The windows look SO SO good! I am seriously amazed and surprised at what a difference it makes. The house is warmer and also a bit quieter.

The factory rep showed up on time and was very nice. He confirmed our requirements and then led us through the standard 90 minute presentation. At times it got a little tiresome and we offered the rep a chance to not quote us after we made it clear that price was our only motivator. He graciously offered continued to work with us. We need 3 windows replaced, on average each is 70"x40". The representative led us through our options and then produced 3 prices, a 12 month guaranteed price, approx. $5400, a February sale price, approx $4700, and an immediate factory incentive price, approx $3900. In the end, it was hard to understand Thompson Creek's value proposition of $1300 per window (and even harder to understand at $1800 per window). When pressed the rep said our requirement of exterior color to meet HOA requirements drove the price to over $1000 per window. I guess if we were using a traditional white vinyl, then the price would be under $1000 per window. Must be an amazing polyurethane stain at $300+ per window! I thought we would end up between $600 and $800 per window.

Isaiah did a great job of explaining the product and showing me the ins and outs of the windows that Thompson Creek sold. I liked that they were a local company and ended up signing a contract with them. I was happy with the contract and thought that I had made a good decision. Ultimately I ended up canceling the contract and going with one of their competitors who offered a window with insulation and came in almost 2k lower in price. I can't say anything bad about Isaiah, he really did a great job and he believes in the product that his company sells. Canceling the contract was easy enough and I had the displeasure of speaking with Paul, who tried to win my business back when I told him that I was going with one of their competitors. I know it's his job to try and win back clients, but bad mouthing other companies and telling customers that essentially they are making the wrong decision by not going with them isn't a good way to get me to change my mind. My interactions with Isaiah were very professional, speaking with Paul left a bad taste in my mouth and ultimately only reinforced the fact that going with the competitor was the right choice. I"m not saying that Thompson Creek isn't a good company, but I found a better deal with another company, as always if you're looking for the best deal shop around to find which company, and product best fits the needs of the project you're looking to complete.

Insisted on talking to homeowner even though I told them I am helping my son with the project because he is very busy. My son did call to reschedule appointment but they claim they never talked to him. Then they insisted that he call them again to confirm the appointment. On day of appointment no one showed and no one called. When I called them, they said my son never called to reconfirm appointment so they cancelled it but never informed us or bothered to call morning of the appointment. My son and I wasted morning waiting for them to come.

Measuring - Individual showed up on time, was professional, measured for my windows and evaluated the job 3. Install date 1 - Team shows up late (no call), They bring the windows but then I find out they measured wrong, job not completed 4. Install date 2. - Team shows up late (I get a call after they already miss the install time), They bring the windows but one of the windows is broken. Windows are installed and window sill is installed. The window sill is installed but it does not match my other window sills. It sticks out from the wall about 1/2" farther than mine, the window sill also does not match the style of my other window sills. The caulk job is about the worst I have ever seen. The next day I find trash in my yard from windows that were removed. 5. Install date 3. - Individual shows up on time and installs the window from the previous installation that was broken 6. Install date 4. - Has not happened yet, but scheduled to have window sill replaced (hopefully right this time?) I hired Thompson Creek because from the reviews I heard they were professional, on time, and would get the job right the first time. Obviously I am dissapointed.

We just bought the house in June. The realtor had recommended. They're top notch. They're a little bit more expensive but Thompson Creek windows were fantastic. They got everything done. They made the schedule and got everything installed in one day. The back of the house had a door that led to a deck, through them we wanted to put in a double-siding glass door to open that space up. It involved construction and some other stuff that we didn't think would be that intricate They took care of all that. They had a guy that works with them that came out. They had to do construction, do a cut out and installed the double-siding glass doors. I can't say enough about how great it looks and how professional a job they did with it. It's fantastic. It makes the room completely different. I think in retrospect it was one of those you get what you paid fr and I'm glad that we paid a little extra to get a higher quality product. There's a lot of times that I had to contact the, They were always very responsive but I usually have to call them to get update. There's about a two month lead time while they build the windows and there were a few things we have to check on because of the construction that we have to call about just to get updates. Just to make sure everything was going and get permits. They handled all of it and they were fantastic about taking care of it. It was definitely one where they said we have to get permits. Then a week or two later, we called them to say do we need to do anything are the permits going through? They have their own factory, manufacture the windows themselves and do the install within the company.That's one of the nice things at Thompson Creek. I think they have a lifetime warranty on them. Their warranty will repair or replace anything, the screens, the windows, if the caulking goes bad, anything like that it's all covered in the warranty and that was a big thing for us.

We had a good experience with them. The gutters are custom made for your house so they came and measured the gutters first and put them in the following week. We haven't had any problems with the gutters. The cost is high but it's because they are famous and you know they are going to do a good job.

I called them. They came out and looked at the windows. They gave me an overall review of the windows I have in my home. They also had a discount. They were punctual. They came back and took the old windows out. They came back the same day to clean-up. They said that if it's broken, I can call them and tell them what's wrong. They will automatically cut a new window and replace it. I would give A for everything.

Service was excellent as was the entire process.

They are rip-off artists. They told us that if we were to sign up that day, the would reduce our $19,000 estimate to $13,000. They think everybody was born the night before. They charge an arm and a leg for everything. Their attitude stinks. They were top of the line doors.

EVERYTHING SEEMED TO GO FINE UNTIL IT WAS TIME FOR THE INSTALLATION. THEY HAD TO COME BACK AND REMEASURE A SECOND TIME BECUASE THE FIRST ESTIMATORS MUST HAVE MEASURED WRONG OR DID NOT DO SOMETHING CORRECTLY. THEY CALLED US AND SAID THAT THERE WOULD BE A REDUCTION IN THE PRICE BECAUSE THEY WERE CHANGING THE PRODUCT. THEY NEVER CALLED AFTER WE SIGNED THE REDUCTION CONTRACT, WE HAD TO INTIATE CONTACT WITH THEM. THEY TOLD US THE PERSON THAT WAS TAKING CARE OF OUR ACCOUNT WAS ON VACATION AND THE NEW PERSON SCHEDULED A DATE AND TIME FOR THE INSTALL TO FINALLY TAKE PLACE. TWO VERY NICE GUYS SHOWED UP TO DO THE INSTALL ON A VERY COLD DAY. BUT AFTER FINDING OUT THAT THE SUNROOM HUNG OVER A FISH POND ABOUT TWENTY FEET UP, THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT DO THE INSTALL WITHOUT SCAFFOLDING, WHICH THEY DID NOT HAVE. FOUR PEOPLE HAD BEEN OUT TO SEE THIS PROJECT BEFORE INSTALLATION AND NO ONE HAD TOLD INSTALLTION THAT THIS HUNG OVER A POND AND NEEDED SCAFFOLDING. AT THIS TIME ONE OF THE INSTALLERS ALSO TOLD US THAT ONE OF THE WINDOWS WAS BROKEN AND WOULD HAVE TO BE REMADE/REPLACED. AFTER SEVERAL MORE WEEKS, THE SAME TWO INSTALLERS, NICE GUYS, SHOWED UP AND INSTALLED THE WINDOWS. NO SCAFFOLDING WAS USED THEY USED THEIR LADDERS AT THIS TIME. THIS WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE UNFORTUNATLEY. THE PRODUCT AND THE INSTALLERS WAS GREAT. THE PROCESS ITSELF WAS A LITTLE DISTURBING. COMMUNICATION WITH THOMPSON CREEK WAS A LITTLE OFF AT ALL TIMES.
