They were very aggressive in trying to sell me stuff. I ended up purchasing a door from another vendor so I called them and cancelled my appointment but they showed up anyway and kept calling me and calling me. I would never get a quote from them again.

They were wonderful. They showed up on time. If there was a problem, they let us know about it promptly. They had to do a lot of extra work because there was a lot of dirty old wood that was supporting the old gutters and downspouts. They did an excellent job. We're very satisfied with our new stocks. They're all over the place. They were very responsive.

Everyone else's warranty was for owner occupied only, but this current home is going to become a rental property next year. Thompson Creek were the only ones who worked with us to get us documentation saying that we would be covered after we are no longer owner occupied. Otherwise, our warranty would have been void as soon as we rented out our home. It was great. They showed up when they were supposed to. They cleaned up after they left and got the job done the same day. They had somebody come out during the day to check the work and make sure that everything was getting done properly and to make sure that we were happy with it. It was a good experience.

I probably won't use them again because I don't think I will need new windows again.

Thompson Creek Window Company evidently don't understand that every household isn't the "traditional" family model and how they work. Furthermore, just because your name isn't listed as the homeowner doesn't mean you don't have the responsibilty or power to contract work to be completed. In the end, it is their loss of business and I am sure I will find a much better company on Angie's List who will appreciate my business.

I was extremely pleased with Thompson Creek! They were professional, courteous, and communicative throughout the entire process. Weren't too pushy with the sales call and matched a competitor's price quote. Highly recommend to anyone looking to replace windows or doors.

TC put new gutters all around our house which is in the woods and covered by many trees with many leaves. Our old gutters always needed cleaning and you could watch the water pour over the gutter. Well, it rained pretty hard yesterday and no water running over the gutters. They look great and match the house almost perfectly.The installers were very nice, I only caught one of their names and it was Julio Morales. He checked with me on everything before they started to work and would come get me if he had a question. Everyone in the company was just great especially the guy Emmanuel that sold us the gutters originally. He had a great personality and knew his stuff. Didn't take as long as I thought it would and the time spent was enjoyable. I'd hire them again, no problem.They weren't the cheapest but quality costs a little more.

The crew of about 6 led by Michael P. was amazing. Great teamwork. They did an awesome job and we are so happy with the the new windows, doors and shutters. About 3-4 months after the installation, we got a letter from our HOA. They advised us that the sidelights and door trim were the wrong color. I was really concerned. I called Thompson Creek and they sent someone out to investigate. They considered a few options but they ended up replacing the sidelights and door trim at no cost to us. I can't say enough good things about Thompson Creek. Choosing them was the best decision we made with our house. I feel like they are honest, have good people working for them and their prices are good considering the product and installation quality. I would highly recommend this company.

The std windows went in fine, but the custom bow window was a catastrophe. They clearly don't do enough of them. First one was too big for the house opening so they jammed it in, but it didn't sit right and was at the risk of falling out and didn't have the required tempered glass (since the window is so large). They didn't even catch that it wasn't installed properly - we had to point out to them that it was sagging. They couldn't replace it with a smaller window for several months (or they simply wouldn't expedite the window even though the first one could have failed at any moment). The smaller window was TOO small (over compensated), so they had to frame the opening down. Between the multiple installs and framing the window down they did $2500 in damage to the interior and exterior of the house (including eve damage, wall and ceiling damage, and gouging the wood floor in the living room). They sent someone to attempt to fix the damage, who only made it worse, so I had to hire my own contractor to repair the damage and make my living room presentable again. They did deduct the cost for the add'l contractor from the final bill, but the entire process took nearly 6 months, and something like 6 visits from Thompson Creek... and all they could offer me was a $250 discount for the inconvenience because their guys did so much damage. All this for what was supposed to be a simple window replacement. On the plus side - The windows themselves are high quality (although a bit pricey), and they did try to make things right even though it took them a really long time. It's their installation services that I wouldn't use again, at least not for anything complex.

They fixed all the cable wires that were everywhere around the gutters. They were very accommodating. I was very impressed with their priority customer satisfaction. The second crew took out existing sliding door and cut a new piece of wood to fill a spot that was rotting. They fixed it to where it was pristine. I can sleep at night because they do the job right. The administrative part of the company kept track of us, they called us the day before and made sure we were taken care of. They made sure we knew the right numbers to call. The same day they came to give us an estimate, we could tell they wanted us to be satisfied. Even though it costs a little more than other estimates, it was totally worth it.

I was happy with their project and work. Reviews from Angie's List helped me get a fair and reasonable quote from them. The end product is good. I have recommended them to other people.

A little expensive but the quality of the product in great. The guarantee transfer to next owner. If there are any issues just call customer service and they come out promptly to resolve the problem.

It's so nice now to open and close the windows. They were very good, neat and clean. It took them a couple of hours to finish the job.

The crew arrived on time and removed all materials from the truck. They had me examine the door to ensure that the right colors were applied before they started the installation. During the removal of the old door the inside side wall was damaged. However, they did the repair and painted it before they left after I voiced my displeasure. They replaced the old doorbell to as closely match the new fixtures. I had prearranged with the Company to contact the security company so they can coordinate the removal of the door with the security wires already in place with the old door. However, that did not happen. I was able to get the security company to come and coordinate the process since they waited to start the removal. The two companies worked together to come up with the best solution for the placement of the wires to not void my warranty on the new metal door and frame. The only downer was that the Spackle to cover the drill holes does not match the color of the door frame.

They Job was done very well. Everything about this company was very good. We could not be happier with how everything turned out.

I ended up choosing a different vendor for the work. The Thompson Creek salesman was very pleasant and punctual and he did a nice job of explaining the product and processes. TC seems to have a high quality product and approach. This company fell down in their approach to pricing and mostly because they would not or could not give me a bottom line price for the work.the salesman prepared a proposal..good for a year on April 30 in my home. The "list " price for 5 windows was $6200... Then he said , "if you sign today I can give you X % off and because today is the last day of the month, I can also give you the friends and family deal, so your real price is $4300 which he wrote on the back of the proposal document...like it was kind of a secret between you and me wink wink. I said that I was not signing today ( because I still had 2 other A rated Angie's List vendors to meet with) but that I just wanted his bottom line price. He said " I don't know what the discounts will be in May" .I said that I would call him early the following week in May after I had met with the others. He then proceeded to tell me all the reasons that the other guys were not as good. I called the Salesman on May 5, and after being unable to find my paperwork for about 10 minutes, could not give me the final price for the project. Apparently the May deals had not been finalized or something, but he could not give me a bottom line price. At the same time, I had gotten an email from their inside sales guy offering me further discounts...did not know they had multiple sales guys both inside and outside. Bottom line, I went with the another company. I believe TC needs to get a better handle on their approach to pricing but maybe from their perspective they are happier not being clear with their customers and trying to negotiate to the last...did not work in this case.

They advertise on the TV and radio. I love their gutters; they are the best ones I ever had. They tried to correct the problem and they did it successfully. They were nice and friendly. The manager came by to make sure everything was okay. The price was competitive.

They were prompt, very professional and clean. I liked that they were a family owned business that was able to get me financing when no-one else could. Also, they didn't mind answering questions that I had. I would highly recommend them.

Everything went very well. We talked to the salesman a couple of times and explained what we wanted, and got quotes. Another guy came out and measured all of the frames and we got a date setup. We were flexible on date and got an additional discount for attending their summer party and doing a tour of their factory. The workers came out early and got right to work. My wife works from home and they were good about getting her office done first so that she could work. Everything was installed professionally and cleaned up afterwards. One window was cracked and a replacement was installed within 24 hours. Overall we had a great experience and will call on them again when we get our gutters and door replaced.

Arrived on time, crew got set up and didn't waste time getting to work. The four-man team worked efficiently, each knowing their responsibilities/role. No wasted time. As requested, Master bedroom was done first....with all interior portion completed with in 1 1/2hrs after arriving, thus allowing us to letting our cats out in the master bedroom while not getting in the way or out an open window. IF we saw an issue, it was addressed and corrected. One window arrived with a small/tiny nick. Thompson Creek is replacing the window at no charge. There where three windows that had some level of rotting wood, and instead of hiding it, they identified it to us, and took steps to replace before covering with the final edging. Before the team left, they cleaned up EVERYTHING inside and outside. BTW, from the time I looked up Thompson Creek and the time they actually came to do the install was over a month... that was our choice.

They did a good job; everything was well done. The only issue I had was that I kept finding screws on the ground for two weeks afterwards. Other than that, everything was fine.

All the staff that we dealt with were very professional, courteous and prompt. They double checked the measurements and particulars of the job before it started and the windows and doors were done in one day. All the materials are very high quality and I am very happy with the results. I would highly recommend them.

Project: Replace the gutters with seem-less covered gutters, to include down spouts. Our old gutters were, well, old. The previous owners used a combination of three different gutter cover systems that were not working well. Product: The product sold itself. Gutter size, seem-less construction, material thickness, construction, details like the filters on the down spouts and limited lifetime warranty, made Thompson Creek (TC) standout. Note: this is a complete system, not just covers. Install: There were three visits from TC: initial consult, final measurement with extruder (they actually made the gutters on site), and installation. On the day of installation, the two-man crew arrived approx. 9 am and left by 2:30 pm. Someone from QA visited during install. The crew was awesome -- very professional, efficient, and they knew what they were doing. Overall impression of Thompson Creek: We like supporting locally made products and it helps that this is a good one. When dealing with TC, it is apparent that they are a big operation (ie their phone and computer system), however they seem committed to providing good customer service. Everyone we had interactions with were very courteous and professional. We would consider them again for future projects.
