Description of Work: Replaced 21 windows. Did an excellent job from start to finish of protecting the home, conserving the A/C, installation, cleanup, and removal of all debris. Crew was top-notch. Management oversight, although periodically provided, was not necessary. Had some unusual repairs which were handled with no problem. | |The best part was that everything I discussed with the salesman was passed along to the crew so there were NO SURPRISES for anyone on installation day.

Description of Work: We had two doors replaced and a storm door put in. The doors were excellent quality and the installation was superb. The only issue we had was more of a front office issue with the new lockset we had put on our existing front door (in order to have all the locks/keys match). It took about 6 phone calls and emails to finally get the issues solved.

Description of Work: They put in a sliding glass door in the basement and 3 side by side windows in the master bedroom. They did a good job. I don't remember how much it cost but I think it was around 2500 dollars maybe.

Description of Work: Thompson Creek installed a new front door (manufactured by ProVia) and a garden window (manufactured by Thompson Creek). Two workers showed up within the specified time window of 8-10 a.m. and spent most of the day doing the installation. They were very careful to make sure the door was properly installed so that it opens and closes smoothly. The garden window was also well-installed. Sometime in the mid-morning the project supervisor stopped by to make sure everything was going well, and then he left. | |My only problem with this was that the two installers did not have an adequate command of English. We had some other work that was being done in the house (installation of floor tile near the front door), and my brother, who is acting as my general contractor on the renovation, had difficulty communicating his concerns about the interior trim around the front door being cut to the right length. In the end he told them to leave the trim and we would install it when the floor was done (he's an experienced homebuilder). When the work was finished, I asked one of the installers if there was any information or literature from the manufacturer of the door - perhaps something telling about materials of construction or how to maintain it - but he didn't seem to understand and told me if there was a problem, I should contact the manufacturer. I tried rephrasing the question, but to no avail. The other installer removed a sticker from the window that clearly said it was to be removed only by the homeowner. A day or two after the installation I realized that there was no shelf in the garden window. I contacted Thompson Creek and was told that the installers had given it to my brother for safe-keeping. So there was no problem, but it would have been nice if they had told me about it as well. | |I'm very pleased with the door and window, and the quality of the installation was good. However, I think it's a bad idea to send out installers who can't communicate with the customers even on simple matters.

Description of Work: Replaced gutter system. Spoke to various companies that replaced gutters and this one had the best value and system for the money. Very courteous and professional. On day of job, they were on time and finished within timeframe, actual earlier, promised.
