Efficient installation; workers were cheerful and cleaned up very well. Follow-up was excellent; guarantee fulfilled. Energy utilization has dropped by at least 20% since installation. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Company replaced all windows in the house (23) with energy efficient windows (and windowed doors). Completed work in two days; did some touch up work over the next week.

+ 0 moreExcellent. It was for a great price and very good quality. They look gorgeous, and the install was very well done. The only complaint is that they were a bit delayed in installing the windows, but that was due to weather and backlog. Oh, and they were a bit tardy in adding a sliding screen door - that took a few phone calls to remind them about it. The inside of the house was immaculate, but they did leave a few nails and screws outside on our deck.
Description of Work: Replaced all windows (18 total) and two doors (french and sliding glass) for our house. All were custom fit.

+ -1 moreWe were VERY reluctant to invest large $ in a gutter cover system - particularly since original house gutters and downspouts were in very good shape. However, self-installed gutter covers did not do a good job, gutters still clogged with various debris, and water runoff from the roof contributed to significant ground erosion around house foundation. Thompson Creek/GutterShutter did an EXCELLENT job - and I'm a hard, miserly customer to please. The installers did arrive much later in the morning than promised (11am vs 9-10), but were able to finish by 5:30pm. The old system was removed as cleanly as may be expected - and the new system looks just great. Installation into studs is questionable, though. More important - even during heavy rains, I have observed significantly less water overflowing the roof, and I've every reason to believe their new system works as designed. I hope to NOT test their warranty that includes free clean-out of any gutter debris that may accumulate.
Description of Work: Replaced original house gutters (prone to collecting debris from nearby trees and roof shingles) with new, larger volume, heavy-gauge (0.032), continuous aluminum gutters and downspouts -- topped with 10' long GutterShutter segments. Top segments are a close color match to roof shingles; gutters and downspout color selection was great, and closely matches trim of house. Each downspout includes a removable trap, about chest-high, to capture debris that does get flushed by new system. Downspouts also properly mated to previously installed underground pipes, to channel water away from house. We comparison shopped about 1/2 dozen similar companies and products -- and believe the GutterShutter products and warranty to be near the top of the list. With their price-matching policy, and customer service -- they quickly surpassed their competitors, turning reluctant shoppers into new customers.

+ -1 moreIt went VERY well. After a visit from the salesperson, who clearly explained what our options were, we had the work completed. Multiple visits were required because of weather disruptions, but the homeowner was glad they weren't working through wind and rain.
Description of Work: Our kitchen window and deck slider were replaced with new windows and the back of the house was capped so we will no longer have to paint any of the wood trim.
