Description of Work: Didn't follow up after the estimate. Kept putting us off as they seemed very busy with other work. On the day they were scheduled to start work they indicated we needed to get a permit, which wasn't mentioned in the estimate. This wasn't needed as it's an existing structure and not a new location.

Description of Work: Had to call 4 times to get estimator out. Took 3 weeks then. then 2.5 weeks to give estimate. And was not for what I had said i wanted. and was more expensive than other. Others more reponsive.

Description of Work: Contractor came to house. We discussed the job. (we needed some concrete steps) At that time I had not had our architect draw steps (I thought steps should be pretty self-explanatory). After about a month of emailing the contractor for the status of his estimate he finally replied that he is too busy and declined the request for an estimate. Oh well. I thought it could have been handled more professionally.

 + -1 moreLanham Construction was always pleasant to deal with, and had the lowest quote. They came out one last time during my framing to see the work site and schedule the work. They came on time and began work immediately. Their original estimate was a day's work, but their crew knocked it out in half a day. They left the work area clean, and you can hardly tell that the brickwork isn't the original. Will definitely call them again for all of my masonry needs.
Description of Work: Lanham Construction bricked up two old attic vents, over which a new beam had been set. They also patched up cracks in my mortar around the house.

 + 0 moreLanham Construction Co. Inc. had a good price, were very cooperative and very nice. They were late a couple of days. I thought their work quality was excellent. I know they offered a very reasonable price, but I can't remember the exact amount.
Description of Work: They built and poured cement for a patio. They made steps, built a stone retaining wall and installed fake stone around our chimney.
