Ash Maids of Lanham

Arrived exactly on time as promised; did good work (although the tenant left the house super clean so there was not too much work left to do).

We have been using Ash Maids cleaning services since 2006 and they have always done an outstanding job, when we've had issues we contact the office manager immediately and they'll come out to re-clean that area or clean more thoroughly the next visit.

They did a great job the girls were amazing and the steam cleaning got out a bunch of pet stains that I though had ruined the carpet.

The providers were very responsive as I had to change the date because our house settlement was delayed by a few days. They are very fast on email. The cleaning professionals were supposed to arrive between 2-4, and they arrived at around 3PM. Two cleaners arrived. They did not have bleach, and asked if we did, which we did not since we had just settled on the house yesterday and the house was completely empty as we had not moved anything yet. We were doing some things around the house as they were cleaning, such as changing the locks, lightbulbs, measuring rooms. They were there until 6:30 and said they were done. I was surprised because I saw a lot of things that had not been wiped, most obviously in the kitchen and the floors had been mopped but there was little attention to detail and dirt and debris remained on the floor. It was a very perfunctory cleaning. When I mentioned that to the cleaning professional, she passed the phone to her supervisor who said that I had purchased an offer of only 2 hours of housecleaning and they had been there for 4 hours. I explained that they had not been there for 4 hours and I thought I had purchased a whole home cleaning and there were no time conditions, but the supervisor said it was for 2 hours. When I checked the offer, it surely said full home cleaning up to 2,000 square feet home (mine is 1,382). I am dissatisfied with the quality of the cleaning and the customer service. They should have honored their offer.

This was a big deal purchase and it was fine, okay. They came out within a month after I purchased the deal. They could have improved on the finishing touches. I think their appointment was late so by the time the ladies were getting done it was dark. They kind of hustled to get out and were not thorough towards the end of the cleaning session. I had to go back downstairs and redo something that was not properly done. It was not excellent, but it was a good job. They were pretty good with responsiveness. They came late without having a good explanation.

Arrived intense, 3hr process all went well.

The ladies worked hard. However, maids are only going to stay for 2 hours to clean my 1489 sq ft 3 level townhome. I don?t think they should advertise as profession house cleaning up to 1500 sq ft if they are going to stay 2 hrs. I was satisfied with the work they did for the 2 hours.

3 cleaners arrived ready to clean my home. The house has 4 bedroom, 3 baths. The entire home, including inside refrigerator, and all cabinets cleaned in 2 hours. Ladies were nice and professional.

The maids cleaned the inside of my fridge and the oven, both of which looked like new appliances once they were done. Next the ladies split up and tackled the rest of the house, by the time they left my windows sparkled, my hardwood floors shined, and my bathrooms were fabulous again. They did all of this in 4 hours and they took out the trash with them when they were done.

Next time they will have time to dust my first floor and pay more attention to both levels. I also have a 3rd level I want them to work on eventually. . I have a fairly large house. Due to health problems have not been able to keep up my house. I am so glad that these ladies are helping me. This also was my first time with a house cleaning service. I was amazed at their work . Also next time will lay out my sheets so they can change my bed. Looking forward to seeing them soon.

It went wonderfully. I expected them to just clean my bathrooms, my kitchen and vacuum the carpets because I thought my surface areas were way to junky and cluttered to be bothered with. But they went beyond my expectations and cleaned them too! When they were done, I felt like I had my house back! So quick, efficient, respectful and professional! I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

The company was on time but their service wasn't up to the standards I wanted. I'm now seeking another service.

Ash Maids arrived at the designated time. The housekeepers were efficient, friendly, and anxious to please. I plan to use Ash Maids again.

Purely superficial. Not a deep "move-out" cleaning. The house looked okay but was definitely not sparkling clean. I felt it was a waste of money.

The house has had minimal cleaning for several months and really needed a deep clean. The two workers stayed busy and the house looked much better after they had finished. I would not say it was a deep clean because they used a feather duster rather than a damp cloth. However the problem was not really the quality of their work but more the fact that this house needs scrubbing from one end to the other. The reason I don't often use a service is because I can't find one that actually will deep clean - wish I could! Wood floors wood floors were mopped and furniture, knickknacks etc were lightly dry dusted.

They were great. They were very thorough. We decided to go with them because of Angie's List. I would give A's across the board.

The two girls who came out were excellent.

They did okay and it was adequate. They were punctual and they did a good job overall. They were professional. They sent 2 people out to do the cleaning and they got the job done in about 3 hours.

They arrived between 12-2pm on 8/6/2014 and got right to work. They knew what to do and where to do it. I was excited when I returned to find the home immaculate, It was money well spent for a perfect turnover to the new owner who is set to move in soon. They will receive well-cleaned and well-maintained family home.

Efficient scheduling, prompt service...my house is clean!
