Excellent service overall! The in-home design consultation was very smooth and helpful, and while the pricing was a bit more than we were budgeting for, we believe the investment in upgrading our closet spaces (7 in total!) will be well worth it. The removal of the old closets and patching work was all completed in a single day, and then the installation occurred the very next day. We're very excited to have a whole bunch of new closets to enjoy!

Our entire experience with Closet America was seamless, informative, timely and the final product – just WOW! I literally did a Happy Dance in my new space, it was that gorgeous! I made a call on a Friday while cleaning out items for donations and just felt it was time. I needed the builders grade closets out of there and needing something to suit my style, the types of clothing and accessory options it would house (I love dresses, shoes and bags!) and of course, functionality. Blown away when we were able to secure an appointment with Katie the next day at 10am. We set aside 90-mins to meet with her and upon arrival we just clicked! She was beyond knowledgeable about the product and install, measured the space, my garments, etc. and then came up with a few options for us to review. She listened and boy did she deliver. After fine tuning some plans to suit my needs a bit more personally we found it – my perfect closet layout! She offered a variety of pricing options to suit what we were looking for in terms of decision time, removing current closet racks/shelving, product selection and so forth. All were fair and reasonable with a pretty decent variety to suit many budgets I am sure! She was never pushy to upsell or push for one vs another but let us do what we felt was right. Honestly, we were ready to go ASAP so that we did! Sold! Fast -forward three weeks to the Installation Date. Yippee!! Curtis the gent for the install was amazing! Also, don’t worry, they won’t let you forget what day and time as their team does follow-up often to keep all on track. Hats off to him as we live in like a 5-story walk up Townhome and he was all by himself. He moved all the pieces (so many pieces) with ease, no bumps on the walls and was mindful to never track in dirt. His work was on point! Cuts were clean to the wall, filled in the space between the unit and wall to make it have a beautiful finish and once done gave me a quick lesson on how to move that, switch this, lower this rod, etc. Oh - and he reminded me that the warranty is transferable to the NEXT HOMEOWNER! Wow, how great is that?!? I highly recommend this team as just the whole process was entirely stress free. They are local so you don’t get lost in the sauce and final product is just top notch!

Had small closet updated. It looks amazing and I'm able to fit all of my clothes and shoes in an organized, beautiful new layout. We really appreciate the adjustable base so that we can eventually replace flooring. Installers were courteous, clean and efficient.

I searched around and entertained 3 closet installation companies. Once I saw the quality of Closet America's product, there was simply No comparison! From initial to visual 3-D design, and to the excellence of the installation, Closet America exceeded my expectations! I would say dont waste your time hunting around--Just Know CA cannot be beat!

Closet America recently designed and installed a new closet organization system in one of the bedrooms in my home in Marriottsville, Maryland. Everything went exceptionally well from the initial visit by a designer-saleswoman to the technician doing the installation. All were professional, knowledgeable, highly skilled, responsive, prompt, and friendly. In short, the project went very quickly and smoothly, and a whole lot of clothing now has found a new and organized home!

An exceptional experience, from the day of the consult until the installer left. Communication was exceptional as well. Text and emails letting us know the progress of the product, call a couple days before install was much appreciated. Love, love my new reach in closet. Installer showed on time and installed without any issues.

I was recently hired as a consultant and quit after four days due to this company's deceptive, bait-and-switch hiring practices. They also referred to clients as "sheep" at least twice per day during training. The product is high quality, but keep in mind that if they will lie to their employees, they will lie to make a buck, and the language they use tells you exactly what they think of you, the customer.

From our initial meeting Heather was professional, friendly and helpful. She listened to our ideas and envisioned our style to design a great closet and mud room. CA stayed in contact between design and install to confirm we were still on schedule. Heather consulted with us when engineers suggested a structural change to the mudroom for durability, they didn't have to do that, so I was impressed. The install crew was on time, early in fact, friendly and professional. They worked clean and efficiently. The install was completed under the estimated time and to our satisfaction. I would be happy to have the crew back for additional work. I will recommend Closet America to anyone who wants custom closets or storage in their home. I love my custom closet! The free consult was seamless and we can up with exactly what I wanted. The installation was quick and done professionally. The hardest thing was waiting for my installation date to get here. It was worth the wait.

It was perfect at every point. It did take a couple of months to finalize but more than well worth the wait for installation. Closet America had an incredible employee, Bill Brown, come to take out and discard the original hardware, fill in the holes and paint both closets. His workmanship is impeccable! Then Sean and his helper did a masterful installation the next day. My only regret - I wish I had had it done years ago!

The installer came on-time and finished on-time. He made it look very straight forward and installed exactly what was discussed. Would use again.

The installation staff was efficient, kept the work area clean, and made sure I understood the product.

This was my second time working with Closet America (CA). They first installed 2 closets in a new bedroom addition. CA staff was easy to work with, did a fantastic job and created a beautiful final product. This made it easy to decide to go with CA again for a built in Murphy Wall Bed. I had high expectations from my previous experience and was surprised when there were some issues that came up during the installation. I was dissatisfied with the final product, it wasn’t the original design. When I expressed my frustration, CA staff was immediately responsive. We discussed what happened and what could be done to fix the issues. They committed to fixing the issues and clearly communicated the next steps. Then the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Many months went by before we could schedule anyone to come back and work in-home to re-do the wall bed. Jeff at CA kept in touch with me and checked in until we were able to schedule. Jeff was great to work with. I believe he and CA engineers went above and beyond all expectations to ensure I was more than satisfied, that I was happy with the final product, which I am 100%. It looks great. We’ve now had guests stay and use the wall bed; they love the look and the comfort/bed support plus the additional feature of a drawer shelf that doubles as a tabletop. I continue to be impressed with CA. I would easily choose to work with them again and I highly recommend to others to use CA. This is a company you can trust. It is rare something doesn’t turn out the way you want, but if it does, this company works extremely hard to make it right.

I purchased 3 reach-in, custom closets. I also purchased the Tear-out, Patch and Paint service, which is the part I am unhappy about. The salesperson who came to my home spent about 90 minutes inspecting, measuring, and snapping photos of the existing closets. The ceilings in two of the closets clearly needed to be painted. However, the salesperson apparently didn't think it was important to point out that painting of closet ceilings is not included in the "Paint" part of the Tear-out, Patch and Paint service. I freely admit that I did not read every word of the contract. On the day of the Tear-out, Patch and Paint service, I was informed by the workers that they would not paint the ceilings. One of the ceilings desperately needed to be painted. I called Closet America and was told that only the walls would be painted. No baseboards or ceilings. I admitted that I had not read every word of the contract, but the salesperson also didn't tell me this at the purchase time, which I firmly believe should have happened. I pleaded with them to make an exception, but they said it was company policy and that the tear-out guys rarely have enough paint to do anything but the walls. In my case, there was almost an entire gallon of paint left over. Since installation was scheduled for the following day, I had to hire someone to come over to paint the closet ceilings. The Tear-out, Patch and Paint service cost was $366 for the master closet and $261 for each of the hall closets. For that amount of money, it is absolutely ridiculous for this company not to paint the entire interior of the closets. Company policies should be in place for guidance. They should not be absolute. Exceptions to policies can always be made to ensure you satisfy the customer. My opinion of Closet America is that they care only about their policies and getting paid. Customer service is where they absolutely fall short.

Closet American are the consummate professionals. The design consultant was exceptional and really aimed at making sure I was happy. The installers are local and were incredible.

Closet America helped us turn our master bedroom walk in closet from an empty room of chaos into a place with shelves & clothing racks that really make organization possible. We have a lot of clothes, shoes, accessories, etc & this closet system is exactly what we needed! Ken was the salesman that came out to our home, he was friendly, personable, and very professional. He was willing to work toward our budget & did not pressure us or make us feel rushed to make a decision at all. The installation was done all in one day & it looks beautiful. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a simple, hands off experience that ends with an amazing result. I will definitely be using Closet America again in any future home that I have!!

The company Rep/Designer was polite, friendly and exceptionally knowledgable of a variety of options for our closet, making maximum use of our limited space. All questions and concerns were addressed to our complete satisfaction. Installation was accomplished in an equally organized and professional manner. Cleanup was exceptional. Closet America personnel are topnotch, their work is outstanding and the quality of the materials is first-class. CA also happily conducted a followup call to re-install a valet bar that we had placed in an inappropriate location. This is a fine company that delivers an excellent product. We just had our master closet done by Closet America. It was a very smooth process from beginning to end. We are very happy with our new closet!

I didn't hire them. They came out to give me an estimate, but never actually gave me an estimate. The asked that I have 1.5 hours free for this estimate. I told them the time was available, but really wasn't sure why they needed so long to come up with an estimate. Turns out they have this long powerpoint presentation they want to go through with you to sell you their products. And the rep actually told me it would take closer to 2 hours to give me this presentation. I don't have all this time to waste. I had a few different companies come out to give an estimate and didn't need a long presentation from them. I did push the rep past a lot of the presentation, because I just didn't want to sit and listen to it. They do use the same materials almost all of these closet companies use, despite what they try to tell you in this lengthy powerpoint presentation. They are more expensive that most. I finally was able to just ask him what his estimate was, and he gave me a guesstimate, which I said was one of the more expensive estimates I've received, but I told him to email it to me, and he never did. So I went with someone else.

The company worked with us seamlessly from the point of contract to delivery. The workers who came to our house did a fantastic job with ensuring the project was completed on time. They also kept everything very clean while working and afterwards. We are very happy with the quality of the end product. We would definitely recommend them!
