I was absolutely pleased with their work, from start to finish. I would highly recommend them. A salesman came out to show me their product and explained the product thoroughly. We sat down and went through some ideas. Their customer service was very good. They explained to me what they were going to do each step of the way. They walked me through the whole step of the way, and I really enjoyed doing business with them. They were very expensive, but they showed me why their product was worth it. The product is superior. They do not make the system until they take the measurements, and everything is assembled in America! I’m extremely happy with their services. Also, their website is very user-friendly.

Christina, the designer/salesperson from Closet America, arrived punctually on August 15, toured the the areas needing the work, and asked detailed questions to gather our specific needs. We went with the cheapest finishes that they offered (white laminate), since they will be hidden behind closet doors. She then prepared a preliminary design of a system for us. This was all done on her laptop, and we were very impressed by the life-like three dimensional representation of what our closets would look like inside of our spaces. Christina was very personable and easy to work with, although she did the typical in-home sales pitches, such as throwing out some very high numbers initially - then giving us their "low" price, and offering a 10% discount if we sign the contract today only. My only complaint is that she would not accept the Angies List discount coupon for 10% off. Her reasoning was that she had already given us the "today-only" discount, so she couldn't give us another one. This was disappointing and was the reason for giving B's for overall and price. The $5,200 that I paid may have been the going rate in the area, but I certainly didn't feel that I was getting a "deal". A week or so later, Jennifer, the project manager, arrived punctually, reviewed with us the design one more time, and did exact measurments so that construction of the shelving/hangers/hampers etc can be done. On Sept. 30, the install team - Greg and two associates - arrived and did the installation. It took about 3 hours for both closets. They were meticously tidy; even working in their socks, and laying out mats on any floor areas they touched. They did a great job, and did not leave until we inspected their work, which was perfect. All in all, everyone that I had contact with at C/A was very professional, and I am extremely happy with the finished product.

It was fine. No problems. I had closets put in before by another company and they were about equal in quality.

I heard Kane from Hot995.com talk about how impressed he was with his personal closet installed by Closet America. I called immediately. I recently purchased my first home and found my new walk-in closet to be underutilized. It had only one L-Shaped wire rack. After being embarrassed multiple times in showing my new home from hanging 50% of my clothes on the racks and the other 50% always on the floor of the closet it was time to do something. When I called Closet America they met me right away the next evening and the process began. The designer asked questions and listened to my needs prior to taking any measurements or making any suggestions. He asked me how I would use the space and took into consideration my wardrobe. Shortly thereafter, he took swift laser measurements of my walk-in closet and started a design on his laptop. He explained to me each option as he shared his thoughts about how the layout would satisfy my current needs. I found the first layout/design to be exactly what I needed. The direction of the door opening was considered- whether I was right-handed or left handed was considered. I felt like a movie-star! I approved the design and three weeks later on a Saturday the Closet America van backed into my driveway and the installer began laying out drop cloths, moving in my selected product and installing my personal closet. Within hours I was impressed that all my personal belongings fit perfectly. The two benefits of this purchase are time savings every morning when getting ready for my day, and every-time I show my house to friend or family member the closet is the highlight of the tour!

We had Closet America come in to provide an estimate. While the quality of their product was clearly one of the best in the area, we both found the salesman to be incredibly pushy and cocky. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the product, but he just didn't leave us with a good feeling. He created a rendering of what the closet would look like, but when he left and we wanted something to look back on in order to accurately compare against the other companies, Closet America refused to release the rendering which I found odd. When they came back with an estimate that was about $1,000 more than their competitor, that sealed the deal for us and we went with the other company.

We got an estimate from Closet America, but ended up going in another direction as I was able to find a better price and this was more of just a short term solution for us. The consultant was very nice and professional, and took her time putting together a design. Also, the price was very competitive, and the closets seemed to be of good quality based on the samples that she brought by.

My husband and I share our master closet and over time, there was more space for my things and less room for his. Closet America designed and installed a great system that basically doubled the size of our master closet and now he has his own space too. We were very impressed with their whole process, from beginning to end. Their design consultant came to the house, took our input and created our new master closet right in front of our eyes on a 3-D computer program. We could see it from all different angles and if we wanted to change something, it was done in a flash. So, we knew exactly what it was going to look like and we knew exactly what it was going to cost right then and there. We were also impressed with the quality of their materials, the finishes and the extra details that their system offers, like the soft closing drawers. When it came to the installation, their technicians were also very professional, thorough and fast. They installed it in one day and when they were done the only thing that was left behind was our beautiful new master closet. I would highly recommend Closet America to anyone I know. Overall the product quality is the best I’ve seen and it was a great value. The process was very professional and I particularly liked the 3-D computer design that allowed us to actually see what we were getting before they built it. And we really appreciated how personable and skilled their installers were, making it so fast and easy for us. No muss no fuss. We love our new rooms so much we had a party to show it off!

I had seen this company at the Health Fair in DC and spoke with them there. They called multiple times. I really needed the work done and finally made an appointment. The only thing I did not like about this company is that they pressure the customer to make a decision at the time of the estimate and the drawing of the proposed plan. They offer "discounts" that will not be honored unless you make a decision at once. Had it not been for this, I would have rated the professionalism an "A". When the team that takes the measurements came out, they were on time, very professional and efficient. I tore out the old closet interior myself because I wanted to paint it before they came to install the new interior. The measurement team gave me quite a good deal of information on how to tear it out without destroying the dry wall. I received no price break by removing the old interior myself. The installer was on time, professional, efficient, and cleaned up after he was finished.

They were professional. They were quick to come out. I liked their product a lot. They spent several hours at my house and I felt a little under pressure with all of that. They did everything on their computer and did not deliver a written estimate or schematic of their design that I would have liked to have. I would use their services in the future.

This is a highly professional company. From the first contact with the company to the installation, everyone was knowledgeable and responsive. As mentioned in the other reviews, Closet America is more expensive than other companys, but their product and performance were superior.

I thought their customer service was excellent! Everyone was very nice and offered great follow through. However, I feel that if I had shopped around I may have found a better price. That being said, I feel that I paid for the customer service, which was very good. They are more than willing to accommodate an ideas a customer may have.

They did a wonderful job from the sales team, installation team, and follow-up. Their design ideas were a huge help, and we really enjoyed working with them.

All their work turned out wonderfully! Jeff, the gentleman who installed our closets, was timely and really went the extra mile for us. He measured all areas twice, and was very thorough. I was very pleased with this company. Their employees are really great!

I would recommend Closet America to anyone looking for a high-quality closet organizational system. They cost a little more than others that we looked at, but their product quality is very good, the installation was of the highest quality, and all the people we worked with were very helpful and accommodating. In looking at closet systems, we were concerned about the wood finish, the hardware, and stability. We've used some do-it-yourself systems that use shelf pins that cause the shelves to tip. Closet America uses very high quality components and the shelves are in no danger of tipping. Our closet looks like it has been outfitted with furniture-quality drawers and materials. I would recommend that if price is a concern, you get estimates from others first. Closet America has a pretty aggressive sales pitch and they want you to commit right away. They are more expensive than some we looked at, but ultimately, we decided to go with the higher quality product that they provide. We are very happy with our new closet organizational system and we highly recommend Closet America.

The quality of their product was the best that I had looked at. Their price was a little expensive. I spent $5000 on that work.
