Closet America designed, built, and installed a custom pantry in our kitchen. Starting from the moment I clicked SEND on my inquiry, CA has been super responsive. A representative called me literally within minutes of submitting my request for a quote and managers stayed in touch throughout the process. A designer came to my house and spent nearly 4 hours with us. She looked at two spaces we wanted remodeled. We talked about the functionality of the space and ways we could maximize it to afford as much storage as possible. She created two designs there on the spot, both of which more than met our expectations. The quoted price as a little higher than we'd anticipated but, for the quality of the materials, we felt it was worth it. The designer stressed the company's commitment to quality, both quality of service and the products they build and install. We were very impressed with the materials and methods CA uses. We were also impressed with their commitment to customer service and their high ratings both here and through their regular surveys. Installation was fast. The installer arrived right on time, set up his work space, and got to work. The whole pantry was installed and cleaned within 2 hours. He took the time to demonstrate how it was installed and to ensure we had no questions. He left the space even cleaner than he found it! We selected CA for several reasons: reputation here on Angie's List, reviews from members, quality of the materials, and the fact that they are a local business. We did not select them for price but felt that, as much use as our pantry will get, we would rather have a high quality, well-made product from a company that takes its commitment to customer satisfaction seriously.

Every part of the job was handled with utmost professionalism and courtesy. I found and contacted Closet America through Angie's List. The scheduling was cakewalk. Amanda, our designer, worked late into the night crafting the exact closet designs that my wife and I had in mind, going through several tough design iterations that would make a lesser professional run for the hills. Her experience and attention to detail was exemplary. Once the design was agreed upon, she reached the owner of the company on the phone to advocate for the best pricing for us. We agreed to have the teardown done ourselves using a handyperson of our choosing, and that made the process simpler as well. The install went exactly as planned. Herbert, our installer, arrived at the appointed time with the parts in his truck, and built the closets surprisingly quickly and efficiently. As we observed we could see how much pride he took in his work ? outstanding! if we do another closet system in the near future, Closet America would headline our provider list. I would be glad to recommend them to friends and neighbors, and wish them all the best.

Professional and awesome experience throughout the entire process.

Everything went very well. Heather, the sales rep, came out with a computer and used it to help us do some remodeling and specs. Heather was great and professional. She explained how everything worked. She had samples of all of their materials and was able to give her professional opinion of what would be best to use. I put a deposit down and they came out to finish the work about a month later. They called about a week in advance prior to the appointment When he ran into a problem, he called their boss to clarify the work just to make sure it was the best option to take. The worker was great and came early. He was able to finish the job sooner than their estimated time. It was definitely worth my time and money. They gave me a warranty on their work as well even if I were to sell my home, it would transfer over to the next home owner. The worker explained everything that he did for me which I thought was above and beyond. I definitely recommend them to anyone. I can't imagine them being any better than what they were.

The women was extremely professional and knew much about closet design. However, we were never asked how much we wanted to spend and by the time we got our quote it was 3x's the amount we expected to pay. The cost was around $12,450 however after numerous "today deals" the cost got down to $9,000. Good quality of a product but not worth the amount for what we would have had installed. Would not recommend due to price.

Our whole experience with Closet America was very positive. They were prompt, reliable and professional. The closet system has greatly improved our quality of life! I like that manufacturing was done here in Maryland. That materials are high quality. The designer had great ideas we would not have thought of - like having built in drawers in the closet. We got two built in hampers which makes the closet so neat. We so happy to have solid shelves instead of wire mesh shelves. Several sections have two levels of hanging clothes- so we can fit much more into the closet. The installer was very pleasant and cleaned up when he was done.

Designer and installer were punctual,and did a professional, quality job. We felt the price was fair for our 2 smallish walk in closets. We were very happy with service received and would use them again, plus based on our experience we are happy to recommend their services.

The design was well done by a knowledgeable sales person/designer. All committed dates were met by the sales person and contractor, even though we needed to change an install date in mid-stream. Quality of workmanship was excellent. The installer knew exactly what he was doing and had many years of experience. Once complete, all debris was cleaned up and the room was ready for us to move our clothes into. We would definitely use Closet America services again in the future if we needed to.

It went very well. Designer came to your house to measure and design with you the set up for your closet that would work best. She went through the designs and how the closets are manufactured and made which are above industry standards as my husband used to install closets for 2 other companies in different areas of the country. These are much sturdier and better designed and cut. The installer came and worked all day completing the task, he cleaned up after the job and showed use how to change the levels of our shelves if we chose to. I also like that we can order more shelves if we want to add to our closets so even after install it's still customizable.

I met the vendor at the Washington Home and Garden Show and set up an appointment on the spot (they were also offering additional discounts for home show attendees). They had to reschedule the first appt and I had to reschedule the second but as they say...third times the charm. Abagail, a recent design school grad, did the measuring, explained options, and was able to come in within the budget I had in my head. I have forgotten the installers name, but he was professional, ensured I knew how the system worked and cleaned up after. Overall, a great experience and I can actually see my clothes and shoes - all this time I thought I had nothing to wear. Would recommend to anyone.

My experience was fabulous. The staff was friendly and professional. The pricing was a little high but the quality of work was outstanding. The designer did great work. They were very punctual, clean and efficient. If we move we are also able to move the shelves with us which we find very helpful.

Once we did the demolition (made a walk way from the existing walk in closet in the master bedroom into the spare bedroom), they did an excellent job in the design of my new closet/dressing room and the installation went beautifully as well. I am so very pleased! From the consultation to the installation, Closet America was top notch-professional, available (I had a few questions along the way before agreeing to the final design plan), and very knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again!

Initial consult was with young lady named Jenny who was extremely professional, knowledgeable and nice. She was a good person to send because she had a really calm and soothing voice. I personally could have done without the lengthy sales pitch as I had already decided to proceed.

They make materials in their factory so you dont have to special order anything. They really work hard to make sure I can maximize my space in the closet rather than a cookie cutter design. They take the time to make sure the space is designed for you. It is also locally owned and operated. The prices are competitive also.

From start to finish, we were extremely pleased with the service we received from Closet America. Jenny, our superstar designer, was very knowledgeable and helpful, providing us with a number of options to consider--it's clear she loves her job, and it shows in the quality of her work. Patrick, our project supervisor, was prompt and responsive, helping us get to the finish line on this major project within our deadline The installation team was really professional and pleasant to have in our house, and we were very satisfied with how well they protected the job site, how well they cleaned up after themselves, and how nicely everything was installed. Just a great experience and exceptional value overall...so much so that we invited them back to design our home office. Very satisfied customers. Thanks!

Installers were on time, professional and worked quickly. They repaired all the holes in the walls after old shelves were removed and cleaned up the entire area. There was a small problem with the new unit, one side was too short, but they took new measurements and were back in 2 working days with the new panels and my closet was done in less than an hour. The company called to checkup on the installation and to make sure I was happy with the product. They worked fast to correct the measurement problem. I would use them again.

The designer understood our needs and the eccentricities of our 60-year-old townhouse. She took accurate electronic measurements of the spaces, discussed the design with, us and provided us with a 3-D view of the design. We didn't have any changes to the proposed design. After we approved the design they contacted us to set the installation date then called back later to say we would be the first installation of the day so they could give us a more precise time to expect delivery. The installer arrived on schedule and was professional and knowledgeable about how to deal with our walls some of which are brick. We were quite pleased with the look and quality of the closet system. It seems to be very solid and although it is their simplest white system it improves the appearance of our closets immensely.

I was really impressed with Closet America. I was originally thinking I would use another closet company, but decided to go with Closet America after seeing them at a home show. From the very beginning and throughout the entire process, I was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of everyone I was in contact with from Closet America. They made the process very easy, even when I was getting stressed because disassembling my old closet was taking me much longer than I thought. They were great with rescheduling and making sure I was happy with everything at every step in the process. The closet came out beautifully and I'm very happy with how everything turned out. My only complaint is the price. I budgeted on half of what the estimate ended up being based on what my friend's closet systems cost, so I was pretty surprised with the estimate. But the designer worked with me on incorporating the home show discount and other financing and discount programs that Closet America offers to bring the price down substantially.

I received 2 references for Closet America from good friends. Both were very pleased with their closets. They told me Closet America provided quality service. I called Closet America and scheduled an appointment in April 2013 at my home. The visit with their sales person went very well. She took accurate measurements and shared with me a variety of options that would meet my closet storage requirements. We talked about style, quality, colors, and pricing. The computer program used by the sales person made it easy for me to view potential selections. The sales person had all the information that I needed to make a good purchase decision. I made a down payment and scheduled installation for several weeks later. In 2 weeks, 3 men arrived on time to do the installation. They were extremely efficient. They took care not to disturb my home interior as they moved the closet material into my house. The closets were completed later that day. I was completely satisfied with the installation and, I gave to the installers the remaining money that was due. Today I am very happy with the amount of storage space that I now have in my house. My closets hold everything that I need them to. I am also extremely happy with my office cabinets, desk, and shelves. The time I spend in my office is so much more pleasurable now that I have a nice looking office unit that also provides me with efficient use of space! I highly recommend Closet America.

Closet America was polite and professional during all aspects of our interactions with them, from setting up the first consulation appointment, to following up and confirming the date for the actual install. Installation was on-time and exactly as had been described to us; the installer was polite and left our bedroom and closet clean - no residual debris or boot marks. The closet organizers and construction are of very high quality - we have already had it for 8 months and it looks like new, and I expect that it will look as good years from now as well. Although expensive, we received a quality product and great service from Closet America. I would recommend them to others.

The whole experience from design, development to installation was wonderful. I love my closet and enjoy going in there to see my clothes and accessories. It is so much fun to go in there, be able to see my clothes at various angles and have space to hang long dresses or shor clothing. Before this new closet, I really was not using over 40% of the space. Now I have so much room and storage areas. The closet system is modular and can be changed (shelves) to accomodate height, etc. The quality of the built-in drawers, a rack for belts and a request to save an area for my big jewelry armoire - made the whole experience so worth it. They followed up and kept in toucn with us before, during and after the installation. The customer service was beyond reproach. We would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for quality and superior work. We are so pleased!(The closet was for my wife - Laurie Pietrak and she is the one writing this review!) The designer first explained the company background, process, construction, etc. She then took us through the design showing us various options. She created the design and tweaked it right with us. She inspected the space and took measurements. She even helped us pick out paint colors for the closet! Shortly after we placed the order we received a followup call from project coordinator confirming the details and setting up an appointment to double check the measurements. The day of the install, the installer arrived promptly, completed the work within the timeframe laid out and gave us a complete walk through afterwards. We've been using the closet system for several weeks now and love it.

We were really excited to have Closet America come to our house and design our closet/pantry for us. However, just over an hour before our scheduled appointment, a young lady called us to let us know that the consultant was running late from her previous appointment and would not be able to make it to our house that day. Understanding that things happen in life we asked her when we could reschedule our visit. She told us that the first available appointment was not for another week. Why should we wait because their company failed to make their scheduled appointment? The young lady did not seem to grasp the fact that they were the ones at fault and we should not have to suffer for their mistakes. If this is how this company does business when it comes to customer satisfaction, then they are not a company we want to do business with.

The designer arrived on a Sunday afternoon and provided an overview of Closet America materials, quality, and value. She then took detailed measurements and provided initial designs based upon our input and her experience. I decided to review the design information before signing a contract, so she left with the understanding I'd contact her a few days later. When I called, I requested two contracts to split up the significant effort so I could budget for and prioritize the first three installed units. No problem. Scheduling was a breeze also. On the scheduled day for the first install, the Closet America installers called about 30 minutes ahead of their arrival. Nice touch! Excellent service, installation, and wonderful/friendly attitudes. Protective padding over the hardwood floors and other work areas. They also cleaned up after they were finished working. Same procedure for the second install about three weeks later. We are extremely pleased with their work and the quality of the organizer and cabinet units. Well done!
