Closet America was exceptionally easy to deal with. The designer that came to do the design and measurements was very professional and thorough. Corporate follow-up, via e-mails and phone calls, was consistently good. The installer arrived on-time, having called ahead, as promised, about 20 min out. The installation went quickly and was very professionally done. All of our items fit in the closet spaces, as anticipated. The quality and finish of the materials is excellent. The 3/4" product used for the uprights, doors, and shelves is extremely strong and stable. the doors have a soft close hinge system so they don't 'bang' shut. Follow-up phone calls re our satisfaction have been timely. Company and individual performance has been outstanding. We like the fact that the units are anchored to the wall and sit on the floor. We are very pleased with the final storage system and the company personnel we worked with.

Great experience from start to finish. The initial consultation went extremely well, and the sales associate spent a really long time ensuring our unusually-shaped space was correctly measured to ensure a custom solution was accurately created. Afterwards, the design process went surprisingly fast, and the associate offered great suggestions on how to maximize the space. The construction was completed in the expected timeframe, and the scheduled installation date was met. The installers did a great job of assembling the components, and further customizing the space to accommodate the new pieces. Overall, the price is quite high, but I felt we paid a fair price for what we received.

Excellent product, excellent service from beginning to end. Follow-up prior to install was a bit over the top but all in all, I would recommend to anyone! VERY PLEASED and will have them do more in the future.

We purchased a built in wardrobe for our master bedroom. The designer was very friendly, not pushy, and very prepared with samples of all hardware and closet accessories. We chose to use them for our wardrobe and were excited to get everything installed. We waited a few months to install everything given our personal schedules. On the day of install, it was discovered that designer mis measured the space by over 3ft! The company was unavailable to speak that day (Saturday). I followed up with them Monday morning to remedy the situation. The designers redesigned the closet and did not require additional costs given that the mistake was made by them. The installers came in a week later to install the unit. We are impressed with the look, BUT some of the handles are not level on drawer faces; I will follow up with the company concerning this detail given this wardrobe was built into the wall and very visible. I expected higher quality with the handles given its price & reputation

I had seen the Closet America display at a local Home Expo about a year ago and was instantly impressed with the quality of the material. It just seemed superior, and I can't imagine it decaying or delaminating. Between that and the warranty, which can even be passed on to a subsequent homeowner, I decided to work with them. Closet America gave me a 3D computer rendering and discussed optional features with me. My needs were relatively modest-- no drawers, no integrated hampers, etc. Including their various promotions, they quoted me a price that was within $200 of my initial expectations (not that those expectations were well-informed by other quotes... more so by instincts). Mike completed an impeccable installation in a few hours, and the finished project looks fabulous. It more than doubled the rod space and conveys a very classy look compared with the painted shelves that the builder had provided. I tore out the old shelving and repaired the drywall myself. Mike hauled away the debris.

From the first visit in my home to the cleaning up of the installer, Freddy, the experience was great. The designers come into the home and look at the space and get an idea of what I wanted. They measured the closet and designed the layout on the computer in front of me. Then they placed the cabinets and shelves where they thought it would be most functional for me. I changed a couple of things in the design and told them what I definitely wanted in the space and they did the rest. I had 5 different wood colors to pick from and different prices with those appropriate colors. Five weeks later the installer came in, took out the old wire shelves and bars and installed the new closet system with my beautiful soft shut drawers and shoe shelves for all my shoes. I show all my friends my new closet when they come over to visit. It's the best thing I to the master bedroom. I have organization, no chaos, I can see and find everything at a glance and I have function. Love my new closet and would recommend "Closet America" to all home owners.

I cannot say enough for the professional way Jennifer and her team have handled our needs. Their system of 3 D programs is amazing. One can change around the design in a flick of a finger, and actually see what the closets will look like. We have not done the actual field measure nor the installation yet, but I expect these finishing phases will be handled just as they were in the beginning - with accuracy and promptness.

From the initial consultation to the follow up call after installation, CA did an amazing job of transforming our master closet disaster into a true master closet! The 3D rendering was very helpful to see what it would "look" like and how it would function. The initial price was a bit staggering and CA worked with me to get the price where I wanted it....slight modifications here and there that reduced the price but did not take away from functionality. My ONLY regret is that we didn't do this 7 years ago when we first moved into our home! The quality of the materials is outstanding! The functionality is amazing! I can't believe all the extra SPACE we recovered! I'm a penny pincher but I really do recommend a professionally designed closet! Well worth the investment! I can't wait to use their services again!

From the initial consult to the install the whole thing was seamless. We revised the plans and we got exactly what we were looking for. We have a beautiful and functional closet. The house was well covered as they brought in the closet components. They installed, cleaned up and gave me all the tips on the workings of the closet. They followed up with us to see if we were satisfied. We added a couple of things post install and Closet America has just been fantastic. We have a few more closets to do in our home. We will be calling upon this company again.

Inquiry I found Closet America at Angielist on a Sunday and drafted a quick email to inquire about their product. We were immediately followed up with a phone call and email that established an in house appointment on the following Tuesday night at 7PM. Consultation And so on a frigid Tuesday night, Ms. Nguyen appeared with a demo kit and laser measure to take every dimension of our closets. She then inserted the stats into Autocad laptop which she brought and populated the 3D model that will populate our closets. It was a through and professional process that impressed both of us. She had a complete sample of finishes and hardware available. Her preparation and level and knowledge was impressive. Cost I estimated the cost of a closet system purchased at a home improvement store would likely be at least $17-1900. This would not include the time and effort, fuel necessary to make the multiple trips to the store inherent in such and effort. Plus, there is no guarantee that everything would fit. So although the cost is substantial, compared to the variable and costs that might be incurred, it was a worth and sound purchase. Manufacture I forgot the exact time quoted, but I think it was a 6 week from purchase to final installation. True to form, they were on time with timeline and installation. Installation My wife worked form home for the installation. She was impressed by the thoroughness and professionalism of the installers. She noticed that they took their shoes off immediately upon entry and they were exceptionally cordial. When I came home I saw that the closets were as clean if not cleaner than it was before and there were hardly any wood dust or other artifacts in the rooms. CONCLUSION: This is our first custom closet, and we are thoroughly impressed with Closet America's work. Their punctuality, flexibility and professionalism is unsurpassed. I will recommend them to everyone who is looking for a custom closet solution.

From start to finish, I was very pleased with Closet America. The appointment set-up was quick and very accommodating. Jessica Fendt was the designer and very professional in her approach to the problem of how to reorganize my unsuitable closets. After doing her measurements, we sat down and discussed my needs - lots of good questions. She demonstrated the building process and hardware that Closet America uses - high end and better than the competitors. We then went about designing the closets utilizing her computer to draw and then display in 3D so I could see exactly what the project would look like at the end. Several days after returning to her shop and reviewing the specs, she sent another rendition with a few modifications which I approved. The pricing with the various discounts available turned out to be in the range I was expecting so I proceeded with the project. It might have been a little higher than the competitors, but the quality and service made up for that. However Closet America does give the customer up to a year to make the decision. The final installation went very smoothly. Mark arrived on time and within 4 hours everything was installed. He was careful with the rugs and his tools - everything was very clean when he left. Very pleasant gentleman. I am very pleased with the final product. I have expanded my storage space by twice as much without changing the size of the closets....much more efficient and suitable to my needs. Closet America is very customer centric and best of all, they are local (employing local labor) so they want to ensure the customer is happy. I made the right choice when I chose Closet America to do this project.

Great customer service and a quality product. The designer who came over to my home was wonderful to work with. She was familiar with working with older homes and had a lot of good ideas for the layout of the room. It took a full day to install everything and the installers were very polite and knowledgeable about the product. I love everything and it turned out even better than I had envisioned.

Closet was installed today. The installer (Mark) was on time, very courteous, and extremely conscientious about not wearing his shoes in our home which we appreciate endlessly. He finished the entire job in a timely manner; faster than we expected. He put down blankets to lay materials on and vacuumed before departing.

Because of the placement of the attic access door in one of the walls and the heating unit under a window on the other side of the bedroom, they were challenged to come up with a plan that maximized the use of the available space. They did this quite well and for a price that was very reasonable compared to what I have found out about other providers. I would definitely use them again--if I had need or space for another closet; as it is, I would recommend them highly to anyone who is looking to make this type of improvement in their home and in their amount of storage space. And, the closet, while utilitarian in purpose, is actually a beautiful room on its own. I just love it--and so do all of my friends who have seen it!

From start to finish, Closet America exceeded my husband's and my expectations. We selected Closet America based on Angie's List reviews. We chose a closet company rather than our contractor because our contractor made a space for a walk in closet but told us we'd need to find a company to complete the actual installation of fixtures and shelves. The CA designer showed up in early October on the exact date and time we scheduled an in-home appointment, and she walked us through our shelving, hanging and space options. She also showed us wood samples and hardware finishes. Once we made our choices, she showed us a 3-D representation of what our finished closet would look like. Because we ordered the closet in the middle of a bedroom and bathroom remodeling project, Closet America worked with us while we waited (and waited and waited) for our contractor to get to the point where we could have the closet installed. Closet America clearly explained timelines (4 weeks from time installation is scheduled). Closet America phoned every week to check on the contractor's progress in order to schedule an installation date. Once the the room was ready for closet installation, CA scheduled the installation exactly four weeks later. The installer arrived promptly at 7:30 AM as appointed. Other than some unpleasant odors from materials used to install the closet, the installation was perfect. The installer was efficient and professional. We are very, very happy with our closet and the configuration of all that we ordered. If we need another closet remodel again, we won't hesitate to use CA. In fact, our very very untimely contractor would benefit from taking a course that teaches the CA business model! CA is the most professional business I've dealt with in the 14 years I've lived in northern Virginia.

This was a great experience. I found the guy who came out for the initial quote very friendly, pleasant and thorough. He spent a lot of time looking at the area and measuring. The crew did a great job as well. They finished before they said they would. I have had no issues with their product since.

I recently moved into a house where I found the master closet to be very poorly organized. Every time I went into it, I found myself getting annoyed. I did research and eventually decided to go with Closet America. The company does have a tendency to communicate a bit too much before the appointment but overall the experience was excellent. The installation went very smoothly, The end result makes me now makes smile every time I use the closet. It wasn't inexpensive but I wouldn't hesitate to use Closet America again.

I heard great things about Closet America on Angie's List so I was excited to use them. I liked their design for the laundry/mudroom area better than other closet companies. I thought they were very professional along the way. I didn't like that they didn't cut part of the wood the correct size so the install had to happen in two sessions. After the wood was cut again they came to install and didn't have all the shelves. I had to take an extra 2 hours out of my day to wait around until the shelves were delivered. There was a mix up on where the shelves were. I wish I had a follow up call from the original designer to apologize or to say something about the original design not being followed. I expected more customer service for the price.

Designed/installed 5 closet systems...one for a Master Bedroom. From start to finish, the project was handled professionally. Designer and installers showed up on time, were knowledgeable and efficient. They are not the cheapest vendor; but, the product and the installation was well worth the price. Closet America "management" followed up at every step of the process to ensure that I was a satisfied customer. They have a great business sense.

Closet America designed, built, and installed a custom pantry in our kitchen. Starting from the moment I clicked SEND on my inquiry, CA has been super responsive. A representative called me literally within minutes of submitting my request for a quote and managers stayed in touch throughout the process. A designer came to my house and spent nearly 4 hours with us. She looked at two spaces we wanted remodeled. We talked about the functionality of the space and ways we could maximize it to afford as much storage as possible. She created two designs there on the spot, both of which more than met our expectations. The quoted price as a little higher than we'd anticipated but, for the quality of the materials, we felt it was worth it. The designer stressed the company's commitment to quality, both quality of service and the products they build and install. We were very impressed with the materials and methods CA uses. We were also impressed with their commitment to customer service and their high ratings both here and through their regular surveys. Installation was fast. The installer arrived right on time, set up his work space, and got to work. The whole pantry was installed and cleaned within 2 hours. He took the time to demonstrate how it was installed and to ensure we had no questions. He left the space even cleaner than he found it! We selected CA for several reasons: reputation here on Angie's List, reviews from members, quality of the materials, and the fact that they are a local business. We did not select them for price but felt that, as much use as our pantry will get, we would rather have a high quality, well-made product from a company that takes its commitment to customer satisfaction seriously.
