Everything went extremely smoothly, and we love our new closets. The designer came to our house just a couple of days after I placed the call to schedule a consultation. She was extremely patient and was willing to stay as long as needed to complete the design of the six closets in one visit. A few weeks later, a team of three came to install the closets, and thanks to the quality of the measurements and design, it all went very smoothly. They actually completed the installation of the six closets in only three hours! Everyone in the company was very polite and friendly; customer service was great; the closets were installed on schedule.This company works very professionally, and I would not hesitate recommending it to other people.

After a nightmare experience with another closets design company, we were skeptical to contact anyone. Closet America, however, is a business run like all businesses should. The company sent someone to meet us two days after I placed the call. Between that first call and the design meeting, we received two calls to thank us for our interest, to ensure that we felt that our needs would be respected, and to confirm the meeting. The designer showed up on time, listened to our needs and limitations, created the best possible design for the space we chose without demeaning or questioning our choice, was personable without being fake, and was extremely patient with our 3 year old. She took accurate measures with a digital, laser measuring machine, drafted a design on paper first, and then used a computer assisted design (CAD) software to create the final design. She explained in full detail the company's policies, the design and installation process, and the nature of the materials to be used. These details included safety features any young child's parent needs to know, such as how the pieces will be secured to the walls and to each other, how strong they are, and how placing specific components in one location or another can affect the stability and safety of the final product. She helped us think about details we hadn't contemplated (even though we had already met with another company's representative) without trying to upsell. Upon signing the contract, the representative signed it as well and we received a copy of the same on the spot. No details were left open to interpretation or for later resolution. After our meeting and contract signing, we received confirmation calls from various company representatives to ensure our satisfaction with the treatment we received and the design created. We also received an email with a copy of the design in full color and further details about the installation. Either that same day or the next day (I can't recall), we received a call to schedule our installation. It took less than a week from our initial contact to the scheduling of installation. On the day of installation, Mike arrived early. He was friendly and warm, but respectful, to everyone in my household. He worked swiftly and efficiently. He was extremely organized and tidy. The installation took less than the estimated 4 hours and the final product was just as I had wanted it to be and just as it was promised. I have a few more projects in mind for our new home and I will most certainly use them again. Whether you are a potential client, a competitor, or a business student, take note. This is how professionals behave and how a successful company is run.

I LOVE this beautiful, organized closet!! The design of this closet has given me much more space than the original "builder design" of a wire rack with clothes rack below. When I put all my clothes and shoes back in the new closet, I actually had extra room to hang more clothes. In addition to clothes racks for blouse and pants length items, there are racks for medium and long lentgh clothes. Then, there are four deep drawers that hold bulky winter sweaters; 3 shelves for hats, and handbags, etc; and shelves to accommodate 60+ pairs of shoes. The designer, Alexandra, is a real pro when it comes to making every inch of space functional. I received quotes from other companies, and looked at closet systems that friends had had installed before deciding on Closet America. I am very impressed with their company, and with the quality materials they use. AND everything is entirely MADE IN AMERICA! I give them a 5 Star rating, and 5 Star recommendation. P.S. They are next scheduled to organize my Laundry Room....

Closet America sent a designer to my house, who did a great job measuring the space and working with me to come up with a design that would more than double the amount of hanging space in my closet, plus add drawers and shelf space. The designer was prompt and easy to work with. They sent me a pdf of the design, and once I confirmed it, set a convenient installation date. The installer arrived at the specified time. He tore out the old closet hardware and installed the new system in just a few hours. He was very professional, effectively demonstrated the features of the system, and cleaned up well after himself. The system looks great and has a very durable, quality feel to it. Though it cost more than I was intending, it is worth it, and I would use Closet America again.

They were great! They were timely, professional, and courteous. They have overall great customer service. My wife was happy.

They were very good. The guy who came out to do the work was very good. I didn't like the fact that the salesperson, when she came out, she was very nice and very knowledgeable but she made it a point of letting you know that if they come out x amount of times to homes and she does not get a contract, then they let her go. I felt as thought there was some pressure there in kind of feeling sorry for her. We were going to get other work done from them. I guess they must have contacted us and said that they were having the special and he said he was interested and we talked about it and we decided that there was other work that we wanted to get done beforehand and I felt as though they were calling a lot after that, and I finally just had to tell them don't call us, we'll call you. As far as professionalism, the guy who came out to do the job, he was an A+. It was just the salesperson that came out, she was very professional and nice but you can tell that she felt pressured by her company.

Closet America was a dream to work with. We looked at DIY systems and none seemed quite right - which is what happens when you don't know what you are looking for! They were extremely helpful, and the results are awesome. All appointments were on time, the quality is excellent, and the installation was painless. Well worth the investment.

After years of dealing with disheveled and poorly designed closets, my wife and I decided to go big when we purchased our new home and started looking at custom closet options. We initially looked at Elfa closets at the Container Store. They're nice, for sure. But we weren't terribly impressed with the quality and craftsmanship at such a high price point. Plus, the price did not include installation, which would put us out of budget. Then we decided to take up Closet America on their free in-home 90' consultation. The designer showed up on time, determined our needs, and then told us about the company and product. She then measured our walk-in closet and came up with a few 3-D draft designs on her computer. We finally settled on an option, and she priced it w/in our budget. Plus, we took advantage of the 25% off special. We felt good about our purchase but were a little nervous b/c we had just plucked down a couple thousand dollars. How good can you feel, right? W/in a week, a consultant called us to schedule the installation, which ended up being 3 weeks after our consultation b/c we wanted installation on a Saturday. Ryan showed up 15 mins early and had our closet installed w/in a couple of hours. He then gave my wife and I a "tour". I have to admit that we were very impressed. The quality and craftsmanship were as advertised. The closet looked great. And days later, we were still looking in there and patting ourselves on the back for making such a good decision (Ha!). In all seriousness, we are very happy with our closet and highly recommend Closet America.

From initial contact through completion of the project, this is simply the best vendor with whom I have done business, regardless of industry or line of service. I would recommend this firm with no reservations.

They showed me how to use it and how to change it if I wanted to. I would definitely use them again. I really had them design a wall insert too because I had a leak and I had to change my order and some people get really mad when you do that. They were very nice about it. They understood. I really appreciate their work. Throughout the year, they've had some discounts for people that have used them which I haven't had the chance to do that because I've not been able to do things. They are very generous and they are nice. I like them. Once they design it plus the order, it took them about six weeks to do it. They did it on time.

We had a wonderful experience with Closet America. The designer was great and designed a wonderful organization system specifically to meet our storage needs. The installation couldn't have gone better. The installers were terrific. They arrived exactly on time, were professional, and worked until the entire system was completely installed--all without taking a break. They were also very friendly and helpful in showing up how to move shelves and hooks. Also, the communication with the Closet America staff was exceptional. They sent appropriate reminders about installation services, followed-up after the installation to ensure everything met our needs. We would highly recommend them if you are interested in a garage organization system. We certainly love ours!

They’re very good. They’re very thorough. They provided free design and consultation. They delivered on time. They did surprise us. The price was okay. I did comparison. This is the first vendor who gave me something that I wanted. They’re professional. They came in, did the work, went home and followed up to see if I had any problems. Everything was good.

I used the online contact form on the Closet America site to request a call for more info. It wasn't ten minutes before I got my call. They were available almost immediately to send a closet designer out. I scheduled an appointment for the following Saturday and couldn't have been happier. Jennifer came out and talked to me about what I wanted for the closet, then took some time to do some detailed measurements. She sat down and created a 3D model based on the measurements and our discussion of what I wanted for the closet. Being able to see the closet was the best part. I never felt the upsell pressure that many companies give. For example, at one point, she asked me if I wanted a particular feature in the closet. I wasn't entirely sure and she basically told me that it would be more expensive and most people don't do it. Easy answer, and it definitely made me comfortable with working with her. I signed the papers that day, but had 3 days to change my mind, which was reassuring. Early the following week, I got a call to schedule my install. They were ready to do it much quicker than I was! I still needed to tear out the existing closet and paint the room. (I believe they also offer a tear-down service of the current closet, but I didn't need that.) On the day of the install, I was told the installer would show up between 7:30 and 8:30. I appreciated that they explained the window to me. "Our trucks leave our office in Lanham at 7." Okay, that makes sense. I also would get a call when he was about 20 minutes out. And all of this went as planned - he was at my house before 7:45. The installer did a great job. He worked steadily until after 1 that afternoon, making sure everything was perfect. I have no complaints. About 15 minutes after he left, a manager from Closet America called and asked if they could come see the work and chat with me to make sure I was happy. I got another call early the following week to make sure I was still happy with the work. This is definitely a company that prides themselves on getting it right.

I had a great experience with them. I would recommend them. They were very professional. They talked to me about what I wanted. He did a drawing right there. I could see what I was going to get. He maximized my space. He gave me an estimate and lived up to everything that they said they were going to do. I was highly satisfied with them.

The service was great, from the very first moment that the consultant came through. We had gone to a home show, and they were there. I have used other companies in the past and they were horrible. We went to their booth, and set up and appointment with them. The representative came in, and she brought products and samples with her, the wood that they use, and the whole 9 yards. She must have been here for about 2 hours. She explained everything, and then measured everything. We set up and appointment for them to come and set up everything. Everything was premade, and it fit like a glove. They said it was made in a German system, where everything was level. When they were bringing the materials in the house, they put pads on the floor, and then took them upstairs. Everything was displayed on the floor as it was supposed to be put up. The two guys who came out were excellent. They were very organized, and I have never seen anything like that. They were very thorough, and the product was very good. It was a really good system.I wanted to cut back on the price a little bit, and the white was cheaper, so she worked on that. It was a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The guy called me after I completed the form to set up an appointment, and they were flexible for when to come out. I had signed up for it in October, and they were supposed to come out in December, and I had just retired, so I kept delaying every month until May, and they were very flexible about that. They called and gave me a time frame of when they were going to come out and they came out early. The consultant knew what she needed, she knew her product, she knew the CAT program. The guys who came out cleaned everything, the wiped all the dust, and they explained everything. I have recommended them to my daughter.

They were prompt and came up with a very good design. They had it installed in the time that they said it would be. It came in at cost.
