Description of Work: I have been a customer of SMO for over 30 years. I have service contracts for my furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater. Service performed was tune up of air conditioner and hot water tank. Love that I can schedule tune-ups on line. Always prompt and do a good job. Bought my new furnace from them 10 yrs ago. Never had a complaint.

Description of Work: Replaced approx. 20 year old heat pump system with electric backup with new high eff. Heat Pump with propane backup with whole house humidifier and smart therm. |They showed up with a team and installed new system in time frame promised and at stated price with no add on's as is the usual case.

Description of Work: This is an approximate price for A/C and heat service contract. This includes annual service on equipment which is almost the same if paid separately. B

Description of Work: They did an annual maintenance on my oil boiler. The work was fast ,efficient and clean. The Tech was very pleasant and informative.The boiler works well after that service. They also deliver Oil and Propane. They do those delivery's with out inconvenience to us.

Description of Work: I ran out of oil in February as we have auto fill, they came out and brought enough oil until the AM of the next day. We had to call them to remind them that we need oil. Also, they billed us and we had to call them to remind them it was their fault (credit the amount). Until the large merger they were great.

Description of Work: I've been a customer of SMO for over 30 years - I purchase oil on a scheduled delivery basis and have a furnace and air conditioning yearly inspection and maintenance contract with them. They have always been competitive on the oil price and I am always happy with the service on my HVAC system. I almost never purchase maintenance or additional warranty contracts, but the yearly inspection and the occasional repairs needed on my system have always outpaced the cost of the contracts - so in the case of SMO I have certainly received good value for the additional cost - I'm actually waiting for a AC repair technician as I write this and he is on the way after a morning call re my AC pushing hot air. Can't stress enough how having them quickly respond means to a family when it comes to heat and AC.

Description of Work: Installed a buried 500 gallon propane tank and connected it to both house infrastructure and a whole house generator. SMO was both cooperative and professional and I was willing to pay a bit more as they enjoy an excellent reputation in the community. My POC was Mike Hoffman and I would unhesitatingly recommend both he and SMO as a vendor.

Description of Work: SMO cleaned the AC blower (unscheduled); it was discharging soot when it obviously shouldn't have been doing that (it's summer, so the furnace wasn't running). The technician arrived precisely on time, spent more time than he expected to spend (which was good for us), and fixed the problem. The job was fully covered under the maintenance plan. Great job.

Description of Work: Annual boiler maintenance. I have been a SMO customer for 20 years and they always provide excellent service whether it is maintenance, oil delivery or installation of boiler. Highly recommend SMO.

Description of Work: Ran gas lines inside and out. Salesman was professional. However was not really thrilled with installer. Overall job not great . No attempt at hiding piping inside or outside. Took the easiest way instead of what would look the best.

Description of Work: PURCHASED A HOME HEATING UNIT, AND THEY CAME AND TOOK OUT THE OLD UNIT. I ALSO AM ON THE HOME HEATING OIL PLAN THAT GIVES THE ASSURITY OF NEVER RUNNING OUT OF HOME HEATING OIL WHEN IT IS VERY COLD.

Description of Work: They took over for the company I was using for oil delivery. They were terrible in their customer service. I have no choice but to use their service. They let my tank become empty twice over the winter season. I had no issues with the provider prior to them.
