 + 2 moreWhen Harry came out to give us an estimate, he walked our entire property and gave us suggestions and showed us pictures of other jobs they've done. He told us he would be back out within a week to apply a herbicide, and that he could get the job done in one day in approx 2 weeks after that. True to his word he came out and did what he said he was going to do. He also called the day before the job to make sure there would be no scheduling conflicts. The day of the job he showed up with a crew of eight people to complete the job. When I got home from work they were done. I was so excited and impressed with the quality of work they performed I took several photos and texted them to my wife. I can honestly say that as a homeowner you have to deal with a lot of contractors and workers, I have never been happier with any job by any other contractor performed for us. We felt that as an owner Harry truly cared about the job and about their quality of workmanship. I would highly recommend Mulch Masters and would not hesitate using them in the future.
Description of Work: Harry(owner) came out approx. 2 weeks earlier and applied an herbicide to kill weeds and unwanted plants and also cut the ground around a large garden in the front yard. The crew of 8 weeded and pruned back all of the shrubs and mulched all of the flower beds.

 + 1 moreBottom line: Harry and his team were awesome! I plan to use them for all future work. Harry came out for an estimate two days after I called him. His estimate was completely reasonable and was actually much lower than another landscaper I had contacted. Two weeks later he came out to do some preliminary work. Two weeks after that, his team of four guys completed the work. Communication was great throughout. He listened to my concerns about the wildlife in my yard and recommended some eco-friendly remedies. His team was done the entire job in 2 hours, which blew my mind since it took me 4 hours to do 10% of the work beforehand. The final result exceeded my expectations! Honestly, I couldn't be happier.
Description of Work: - Removed all shrubs/plants from 2 large garden beds. - Relocated hardscaping stones. - Mulched 2 garden beds. - Dug/installed trench in 2 garden beds. - Trimmed bushes in third garden bed.

This time the overgrowth from the trees hanging over the back fence not only made the property unsightly but also made it impossible to mow close to the back fence without getting assaulted by tree limbs and branches. Harry accommodated my time schedule and sent three of his workers to my home. They were prompt, professional, polite and just amazing. Their work was done quickly and the quality of their work was more than pleasing. I don't think the property looked this good in the 25 years I have lived here. I will most definitely use Mulch Masters again and would recommend them to anyone needing landscaping or tree work done.

 + 1 moreThis is my second very successful Snap Fix project. The owner, Harry contacted me by phone within 24 hours of receiving the Snap Fix request. Harry came to my home the next day and evaluated my request for mulching. He made a couple of suggestions which included a weed kill and inhibitor process which would be done a week prior to the actual mulching. On the morning of the mulching, the crew arrived bright and early and got right to work. The team leader met with me and reviewed everything to be done including the hand-packing of the mulch on a hilly section. All of the crew members were polite and professional. They seemed to be taking a great deal of pride in their work. When the work was complete, the team leader met with me again to make sure I was happy with the job. I definitely was!

I was called back very promptly and the gentlemen went out to my home to look at the project. I was given an estimate over the phone which was very reasonable. The work was promptly done 11 days later (yesterday 11-13-2014). It looks amazing and I am VERY pleased. I will definitely use this provider again and would recommend him to everyone who needs landscaping work done.
Description of Work: Trimmed the bottom branches off of a large Bradford Pear tree in the front of the house and removed an evergreen bush from in front of the house that had overgrown and was partially blocking the garage entrance.

 + 0 moreThis is the second time in a month that we have used Mulch Masters and again, the work was phenomenal. Harry arrived 2 weeks before the work and sprayed a herbicide to kill the grass. His crew arrived yesterday and completed the work quickly within an hour and a half. We are very impressed with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Cut mulch beds along sides of house and extended drainage. Connected new beds to previous beds.

I'm very DIY oriented so I was a little skeptical at first but the work is amazing! They came out a week later and were done in about two hours. We like it so much that we have them coming out to door more work. We couldn't be more pleased with Mulch Masters!

He had his crew come out on the weekend to make sure he got our house done on time and it looks great! He did everything he said they would do, did it faster than he originally estimated, and was incredibly professional. His crew was equally punctual and professional. I would absolutely hire them again!

He found a few areas that did not meet his expectations and had his guys take care of them before I could say anything. Description of Work: I wanted to get a contract to have my flower beds cleaned out, edged and mulched. I called Mulch Masters and was given a detailed, written estimate for the work. Harry took time to thoroughly walk around and take all the measurements. He showed me a portfolio of photos of the work that could be done and he itemized the pricing so that I could select exactly which portions of the contract that I wanted. When I changed my mind about some of the contract, and decided to do the edging and mulching myself, but still wanted to have the mulch delivered, Harry came back out to measure a second time to make sure that he sold me exactly the correct amount of mulch. He even offered to loan me some wheelbarrows and tools at no charge to help me out!!! The mulch was delivered exactly at the time and date promised, and Harry even good-naturedly made sure he dumped the mulch on a large sheet of plastic that I had placed on my driveway. He had the cheapest price for the product. He did not charge me a delivery fee, and the mulch was a very good grade. Harry gave me his schedule and contact info for the day that I was going to actually do the mulching in case I needed to call him for a few extra yards of the stuff, and then, after I completed the mulching myself, he drove by to check and make sure everything went well for me, and left a message to say how well the project had turned out. I have rarely, if ever, had this level of customer service. I will definitely call Mulch Masters in the future, and have already recommended this company to others.

We explained that we needed the work done ASAP as we were about to put our house on the market. Harry assured me he would have it done in time despite the weather. He did it! His work is amazing and very competitively priced. Beautiful edging and care in the beds - pruning etc. He also laid some sod to make everything look perfect. We had 3 offers in 2 days and they all commented on the beautiful landscaping! Thanks Harry!
