We were extremely happy with the job! Both John and Susie Burgers were a pleasure to work with. John had to come out several times because we were debating between different systems and he was very patient and provided honest information. The installers were friendly and did a great job. We would definitely recommend them.

Everything went really welll, and it was a great experience. They offered a top-notch product for a competitive price, the installation crew really cared about doing a good job, and they were very responsive and accommodating with regards to some unforseen issues. Ultimately, they're a great company and did an excellent job from start to finish.

Great. I can't speak highly enough of John and his team... It was a two day job, replaced some rotted fascia board, helped me relocate a deck support pole to better route the downspout, did a very neat, professional job, and even installed some of my old gutter and downspout on a shed we have (without charge). They are an excellent small business operation that is very professionally operated. I would happily use them again or recommend them without reservation, based on my experience.

The crew at Mid Atlantic Gutters were outstanding. They were professional, courteous and knowledgeable of what they were doing. John, the owner, came out on a Sunday, the only day that was convenient for us, showed us his product, explained the entire process and installation and gave us an estimate that was, by far, better than what we expected. They came to do the install on Labor Day, which turned out to be the hottest day of the entire summer, and worked non-stop until the job was done. We have a small overhang over our back porch that could have presented a problem due to it's proximity to the roof, but they cut out what was needed to accommodate the gutter and used flashing and shingle to finish it off. I was kind of leery about them cutting into the little roof, but it actually looks much better than it did before. Now it looks like it's incorporated with the house instead of just hanging there covering the porch. There were a couple of minor issues after installation, one with overflow due to the pitch of our roof, and the other with the drip guard, neither the fault of the company, and they came out and fixed the problems immediately. I waited until now to write a review because I wanted to see how well they did in keeping the leaves from our trees out. The have worked flawlessly! I'm very happy with the appearance of the gutters and extremely happy that we no longer have to clean them 4 -5 times a year as we've had to in the past. I would, and have recommended Mid Atlantic gutters to anyone who is in the market for new gutters. When we're ready to have our roof replaced, we'll definitely be giving them a call.

I interviewed 3 potential gutter business people through Angie's list. John the owner of Mid Atlantic was most punctual, professional. He is the only one brought the ladder to inspect the whole roof including the chimney. He gave more service with the least cost. John and his crew came to my house on time, worked all day. The office staff was very friendly and kept informed every step of the way. Quite nice experience to have John's service. . I will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends

The team who came to do the job were very professional and very courteous. The saleperson John was very nice and was not pushy. He explained me very clearly what product I am getting and had a in house demonstation. I also got 2 more quots to do the same job and overall K-guards were the best in price for the product i had bought from them. I am very pleased that i had done bussiness with them.

I was very pleased with my experience with Mid Atlantic Gutters. Beginning with the initial estimate and the through the completion of the work they were on time and did a professional job---no bad surprises. The workers were friendly and completed the job in one day despite some challenging conditions. I will hire them to replace my roof in the future.

John, who is the owner of the company, is very professional in both his treatment of customers and in delivering a finished product. I am very pleased with how great the house looks! I chose K-Guard gutters and am so glad I did. I will hire him again when the need arises. I highly recommend him to people looking for a reputable gutter company.

The K-guard gutters would require a complete replacement of my old gutters. Total cost, additional gutters, plus downspouts, would have been between 3x-4x the 'Big Deal' ($800) that provided the deposit. (This was not unexpected, though.) My old gutters were overflowing in certain spots during heavy storms. I thought they were sagging in those spots. I found the trouble was actually a simple clog - caused by a different product that had reached its end-of-life far in advance of its 20-year expected life and warrantee. A bother to maintain. While I'd love to have a truly maintenance-free gutter system, it is hard to make a (large) investment in a whole new system without a solid sense of how it will handle all of the (expected) things that nature throws around: light/med/heavy rains, leaves, helicopters, pine needles, and buildups of shingle-grit, pollen, etc. We may still go the replacement route. For now, I suppose we're not fully convinced. John and Susie were very professional and communicative, and easy to deal with. No troubles. No high-pressure sales approach, which was appreciated.

The gutters were done well and are better quality then others we considered. Clean up could have been better; screws and cigarette butts were left behind. One of the screws was found in the rear tire of our car. The roof cap was dented which caused water to leak into our sunroom and powder room. We were unhappy with the initial investigation of this issue however Mid Atlantic Gutters did replace the roof cap which resolved the water issue. If it wasn't for the dented roof cap which resulted in the water issue we probally would have rated this service with an A or B.

Contacted company for estimate. Heard back from Susie almost immediately and she scheduled John to come out for estimate. John was great. He explained the entire process, went over all features of the gutters and answered all questions. There was never any pressure to purchase - he let the product and the company's reputation speak for themselves. We were very impressed and signed the contract same day. He told us to purchase a big deal that would serve as downpayment on the job which we did immediately after he left and, again, heard back from Susie almost immediately. We scheduled a date for installation in 2 weeks (could have been sooner but we were not available). They showed up on installation day and began working. Everyone was very personable and professional and they did a fabulous job. They cleaned up afterwards leaving nothing behind and walked us around for inspection of the new gutters. They are absolutely beautiful. This was one of the best home repair/maintenance/improvement experiences that we have had and one of the nicest businesses that we have ever worked with. John especially was great to work with - he even helped us troubleshoot an electrical problem and followed up with a call a few days later to make sure that we were happy with the work and to reiterate that if we had any problems or concerns to just call them and they would take care of things. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase new gutters.

The gentleman that came to my house was very nice, He simply did not have a chimney cap that would fit my fireplace stack.

John had presented the K-Guard system to me, comparing its benefits/superiority to other gutters including the mechanism of operation. He was very friendly and professional and was able to answer all of my questions in a very informative way. Although not the cheapest, I was convinced that this was the best option after doing some research and meeting with several other contractors. Anecdotally, I shop at COSTCO which sales, I believe, high quality merchandise at very reasonable prices and recently happened to notice while exiting the store an advertisement for Leaf-Guard, the predecessor of K-Guard, K-Guard being an improved version of Leaf Guard. Work was delayed one day due to rain. The crew, led by Tim, was efficient and did an excellent job. John, owner of the company, arrived at the end of the day and personally checked the completed work; he rerouted slightly the flexible drains attached to the downspouts to ensure water was channeled away from the house. I was pleased with both the aesthetics and function of these gutters--they looked great and performed as expected after a recent major rainfall. I feel confident that I made the right decision to hire Mid-Atlantic and would recommend this company.

Several roofers were interviewed for the job. None physically examined my roof. They said "I needed a new roof". However, they never examined the condition of my roof. John was polite courteous and honest. He examined my entire roof and drew a diagram. He informed me that we could wait another 2 years. John and his wife labored tirelessly to ensure we had the correct color of the new roof. Over several years, we had experienced a number of blow-off and paid $300.00-400.00 to have shingles replaced. John and his wife made such a personal impression on me and my wife. We decided to go with him. Job was completed in one day. Clean-up was excellent. His crew was very professional. John examined my attic to ensure we had proper ventilation. He sealed my gables to ensure proper ventilation. John performed tasks beyond a regular roofer. We will hire John to do our daughter's roof. Extremely highly recommended.

A real pleasure to work with. The husband-and-wife team that owns this company is extremely professional, honest and hard-working. After dealing with some smarmy guys from other companies who insisted on entering my home and sitting at my dining room table for hours telling me things I didn't want to hear before they would give me an estimate, I felt really lucky to have found Mid-Atlantic Gutters on Angie's List. I was impressed with them from our initial phone call (the owner's wife was very knowledgeable and charming to boot) and the estimate (the owner was punctual to the minute and gave a great scientific explanation of how gutter systems work without giving us the hard sell). The installation team was efficient, communicative and very experienced. The gutters themselves seem to work well. A bonus: They have a great, sleek look. You'll see what I mean if you compare them to traditional gutters. The day after the installation I realized I had a question about the installation and contacted the owner very early in the morning, at around 5:30 a.m. before work, via email to inquire about this. Within a half hour he was calling me back saying he had already talked to the installer and that it sounded like something needed to be fixed and he would send someone to do it the next day. Well, I went out the next morning to run errands and came back and the work had been done. Just like that. Wow. The owner came by a few days later to personally inspect the installation. I am planning to recommend them to neighbors.

My review concerns only the purchase and installation a new gutter system. Only time will tell if performs well over the long run. I compared several companies before selecting Mid-Atlantic. The man, who came out to do the estimate- John, is actually the crew chief not a dedicated salesman. There was no typical, lengthy sales pitch with all sorts of gimmicks -just a straight up review of the product and an estimate. They ask you to watch a video on their website, which was not that impressive, but the product itself seems well designed and sells itself. On the day of installation they showed up on time and completed the job in about 6.5 hours. They had a four man crew and they were a very effective team. The removal and installation went smoothly and the final result is outstanding. I had a few special requests to install a diverter for my rain barrel and color match a downspout that came across the roof and those 2 items were done to perfection. Also, if you go out to their truck they will show you how their fabricator works, which is really quite interesting. These are a group of guys who take pride in their work and it shows. I do have one suggestion for them. To cut up the old gutters they use a metal cutting chop saw. It produces a lot of tiny metal shards. It might be advisable to put down a drop cloth to better manage the clean- up of the metal as it tends to adhere to the driveway and could be a problem for pets and kids. Other than that one suggestion I have nothing but praise for Mid Atlantic

The day came and I received a call that the trailer had a flat tire and they would be running about an hour late. They came about 3hrs later, but they got to work right away and didn't even take a lunch break. They made sure the job was finished that day as promised. John the owner came by to make sure everything was done the way I wanted and he even pitched in and helped. Everyone was so very nice and they cleaned up everything. You couldn't ask for a nicer group of people! I will use them again for other work that I might need. We have had major rain storms since I had my gutters installed and they work great no more clogged gutters.

They were wonderful. They were great. We interviewed three but we liked their system so we went with them, We had no issues. The previous review that showed $12000. and a B rating was a mistake. An Angie's list agent called me for reviews of 4 companies, so when she put down the information she got the 4 companies confused. Mid-Atlantic Gutters & Exteriors were perfect!

Everything went well. If I recall correctly, John was delayed a little but he did call and let me know he would be about a half hour late. I appreciated his letting me know. He used a ladder to examine the damage and took pictures of damaged areas that couldn't be seen from the ground. The damage was actually worse than I thought. He explained to me what needed to be done. He gave me an estimate for the basic repair work which I felt was reasonable so I asked him to give an estimate for new gutters. My old gutters had, at most, another 2 years or so life before they started falling off. They were already a little loose in spots. I agreed to have Mid Atlantic do both the repairs and replace my old gutters. The work went extremely well. They matched the replacement boards to the color required by the HOA (I have an EOG townhouse). We have had several heavy rains since the installation and the gutters appear to be working well. Best of all, the squirrels can no longer get into my attic! The workers did leave a few tree small tree branches lying around that they had cut off of 2 trees whose branches were interfering with the repairs. I didn't notice them until the men had left. When John called a few days later to ask if I was satisfied I mentioned the branches and he was upset with his crew and wanted to send someone out to clean up. I thanked him for the offer but told him it wasn't a big deal and I had cleaned it up. I was very happy with this company and would recommend them to anyone.

Work was done on time and on budget . We are very pleased with the results. No more ladders and cleaning. Plus we think they look nice too!!

These guys were great from beginning to end! I had a leaking chimney cap that had rusted out. A day or so before they were going to install the new cap, it appeared we were in for some heavy rain. I caled and asked if they could install a tarp over the chimney to prevent further leakage. Three hours later, the chimney was tarped and secured - at no cost. They delivered and installed the cap exactly when they said they would and cleaned up quickly and completely. I would recommend these folks without hesitation.

I purchased a $800.00 Big Deal for 40 linear feet of new gutter from Mid Atlantic Gutters. Deborah Burgers contacted me to set up an appointment for an estimate. John, a representative for the company, came to my house and gave a thorough and detailed demonstration of the K-Guard system. He answered questions about the differences in the K-Guard and the other competitors system. John just let the K-Guard system sell itself. He tried to sell any of the product at all. The whole estimate situation was a pleasant experience. I wasn't able to be present on the day of the installation, there were a few minor adjustments that I requested to be done. When Ms. Burgers contacted me for final payment I expressed to her the adjustments and agreements that John and I discussed. Ms. Burgers indicated that she would contact John about my concerns. John contacted me 10 minutes later to discuss my concerns and assured me that the corrections would be done. I was contacted at work the next morning by Tim. He inquired about my concerns and what I expected to be done? Tim explained certain things to me and assured me that he would get on the corrections. Ms. Burgers contacted me for the final payment after Tim completed the adjustments. She insisted that I call immediately if I got home and was not satisfied with the adjustments. John contacted me on Thursday, July 31,2014, to inquire if I was satisfied with the final adjustments and completion of the work done? I assured him that I was satisfied. John also insisted that if at anytime something malfunctions to please call immediately. This company and its employees are very insistent when it comes to customer satisfaction. I find this to be refreshing! Finally, Mid Atlantic Gutters is a totally professional and outstanding company. The representatives are an example of how a customer should be treated. I and my family are impressed and thankful that we chose this company to improve our home. The K-Guard system works just like John said it would. Thanks again Mid Atlantic Gutters. Representative was very polite and professional. Worked around our schedule. The installers showed up on time and were very careful while removing and installing the new gutters. They cleaned up everything after they were done.
