We had a great experience working with Mid-Atlantic Gutters. No hard-sell sales tactics. There was excellent communication throughout the process.. They showed up for the job as promised, and returned a few times to fine-tune our installation. Seem to genuinely want to be a top-quality company. I waited to write this review because I wanted to test the gutters out during a heavy downpour. It really poured last week and the gutters did a great job. I was hesitant, at first, because it seemed like no one is satisfied with their leaf-filtering gutters. Leaves have been falling, and it has rained hard, and the gutters have been doing great. Very satisfied.

This is the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable , hard working, skillful, honest and just nice. What a wonderful company. The estimator came and looked over our entire house and spent a lot of time making sure he understood what gutters needed to be replaced and what wood needed to be repaired. He explained everything in detail and gave us a very fair price. The work started and finished as we were told it would. The gutters look beautiful and work so very well, we couldn't be more pleased. And the wood rot they repaired was fantastic! Thank you Mid-Atlantic. Sorry for not writing this review sooner!! You guys are the best!!!

John is one of the few people who do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it, and then actually exceed/surpasses what they tell you. This is the company/type of people you want working on your home. John and crew take great pride in their work and do it right. I called them because my original gutters (25 years old) were badly clogged and leaking and overflowing (even with annual cleaning), which led to water getting in my basement after a hard rain. I found the company on this site. John came out the day after I called, and brought samples, gave an honest assessment of the K-Guard product and the competition, and walked the site and made a few suggestions/recommendations (which were all good ones and an improvement over the way the existing system was installed). The installation went very smoothly (about 2.5 days including the underground work), and John was onsite the entire time. The product works very well (have not noticed any overshoot in hard rain or leaks). Suzy from the office followed up after installation to make sure everything was working well. There was one small leak in a corner (small enough that most people would likely not notice, except that I was very watchful given the water in the basement), which John came out and fixed, and also fixed my existing chimney cap, which was not installed correctly by a previous contractor. I tried to give John something for doing that and he refused. I really can't say enough about John/MidAtlantic. If you are looking for gutters I can't imagine going with anyone else. They also do roofing, and I will likely use them for that when the time comes. My overall takeaways are - Very responsive - honest - quality workmanship - "sales"/installation is the same person/people (this was a big factor for me vs. a "big corporate" approach), - the price was very good given the amount of work done and the quality of the product - and a sense that the most important thing was that I was happy at the end of the job. An overall great experience.

John and his crew were so professional. The new gutters and guards look great. John even noticed a damaged shingle on my roof and volunteered to fix the problem while he was there. Highly recommend this company!!

I had considered replacing my gutters for some time and when I saw this Big Deal on Angies' List, with Mid-Atlantic Gutters, an A-rated company, I jumped at it. My experience in working with this small business has been outstanding. John, the owner, was involved every step of the way. He came to my home the day after my initial call and spent a lot of time inspecting my existing system and the drainage around my house. He brought many samples of competitors' products and explained which features he thought were good and which were poor; he didn't just trash all the other products. His company does most of their work with gutter replacement and his extensive experience has led him to recommend the K-Guard system. I decided to go with it, then we talked for a while about specific changes to the system for my house. I really felt that he listened to what I wanted and worked with me to come up with the best solution for my home. Installation was scheduled for a few days later, and did get delayed by one day, due to bad weather, which we had discussed in advance. His crew was very professional and he worked right along side them. He had let me know that there could be some extra charges for replacing damaged fascia board, but it was all in good condition, so the estimate was exactly what I paid. They completed the job in one day and cleaned everything up very well. After completing the job, John walked around the entire house with me, pointing out areas for me to keep an eye on during the next storm. He called me after a few days to check on how the new gutters were performing and I told him that when it poured, water was overflowing the gutters in a couple of the areas he noted ("valleys" where 2 parts of the roof join together). He personally came out the next day and made a few minor modifications at no charge. He then called several times to follow-up to see if the fixes worked, which they did. John really knows his stuff, and he is totally committed to doing the job right and satisfying the customer. He was a pleasure to work with and I heartily recommend his company, Mid-Atlantic Gutters.

The K-Guard gutter system on our home not only works perfectly but also looks great. Mid-Atlantic Gutter did a fantastic job on installation and you will not find a better contractor to work with. We had a couple of minor problems, because of the valley design of our roof due to additions built on to the house, and they came out immediately to work out a solution in which I am very pleased. I have no relationship to anyone associated with the company, so my opinion of them is genuine. I highly recommend Mid-Atlantic Gutter.

I contacted Mid-Atlantic Gutter after receiving a quote from competitor who also pitches the K-guard gutter system in the DC metro (I live in Montgomery County) to get a cost comparison. When I called on a Friday afternoon, John answered the call immediately and offered to come out the next day to accommodate my schedule. John reviewed his products with me, walked around the property and provided a quote on the spot. John's quote was very competitive to the one I received from the other dealer. I had lined up one more quote on a competitive product and told John I'd reach out the following week. John followed up with me later in the week and we agreed to proceed, but that I needed my wife to review the color options for the fascia wrap and the gutters. He agreed to come back out to the house the following Saturday so she could select the colors. He was prompt and we quickly came to terms on the colors and the written agreement. John had to special order the gutter materials as we were using a color that was not stock (Coppertone) and said he'd be in touch to schedule when it came in (approximately 2 weeks). John reached out in about a week and asked if he could arrive the next day to do this install (Saturday). We agreed and he and his crew arrived the next day. John called to tell me to give an eta on their arrival that morning. John and his three man crew worked non-stop all day on Saturday performing the job. My wife and I decided to go out to dinner and left them still working. When we got back from dinner (around 9pm) they were still there working in the dark (with the help of spotlights). John explained that he saw a dent in one of the gutters they hung in the front right before they left and he and his team wanted to replace it before we saw it in the morning. I had inspected the same gutter earlier in the evening and noticed the dent, so it must have been small, but John and his team's attention to detail didn't allow them to just let it go. The team had to come back the next day to finish the job and spent the balance of Sunday completing the installation. They cleaned up all of their mess after each day and outside the fact that I had new gutters had would not have known they were there at all. I also have to give them credit for remedying a tree problem for me. They had to trim back a tree to do the gutter work (the tree branches were up against the gutter and needed trimmed back anyway) and while their original trim was functional and adequate, my wife didn't like the way it had been done and asked for an adjustment. They happily complied and executed what was asked. The week after the install, I received a call from John asking how the gutters faired in the first big rain. I explained I hadn't observed them yet but would reach after the next rain fall. John followed up one more time to ask if his crew could come out and check how they had installed the gutters around some of the tricky corners of the roof line as he wanted to make sure it was right. He and his team showed up and quickly made some adjustments. i shared with John that I had observed the gutters and that they looked like they had worked fine. During the visit I expressed that the gutters were so effective, I needed to address a spot where the downspout was dropping too much water on hard scape and water was pooling (not to the impact that it was damaging, but I just didn't like it pooling there). This downspout was in the same location as the last one, so it was of no fault of Mid-Atlantic that this was behaving this way. John suggested getting a flexline to divert the water in another way to remedy. I agreed that would do it and made a mental note to stop off at Lowe's the next weekend to pick up the line and install it. Much to my surprise, John stopped by a few days later and installed a flex spout himself to resolve the issue, completely unexpectedly and unnecessarily but sincerely appreciated. In short, I am very confident in the decision to choose Mid-Atlantic for the work, believe the price was fair and sincerely value the pride of workmanship and attention to detail that John and Mid-Atlantic put into their product and work.

Company provided a detailed cost-competitive proposal for gutter replacement of home and garage. Installed the best quality gutters we were able to find after an extensive search of many competing products. John delivered excellent coordination with the schedule of another contractor and weather conditions. The quality of gutter material, design, and installation work performed were outstanding in every way.

I am a very skeptical consumer! Since my husband passed away 9 years ago, I have been very leery of having work done on my home! Most contractors promise you everything under the sun and don't come through, but Mid-Atlantic Gutters replaced all of my gutters with the kguard leaf free gutter system and even fixed a problem spot that the roofer neglected to do and they did NOT even charge me! They offer a life-time warranty for never clogging, pulling away and sagging, which means I will never have to worry about begging my son to get up on the roof and clean my gutters! They were very polite and courteous, the most professional company that I have ever come across, I only wish they did other home improvements! Every step of the way they made me feel at ease!

I was so thrilled with Mid-Atlantic Gutters and the K-Guard Leaf-Free system that they installed on my home! Not only is the product awesome, but EVERYONE that I was in contact with, from setting up my free estimate, to the sales person and the installation crew were professional, friendly and overly helpful. They were the cleanest company I've ever had do work on my home! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for gutters!!! They totally made my experience the easiest and best experience it could have possibly been!

They did an fantastic job and even cleaned up after they were done working. I didn't even know that they were around and I was refered to them. I am glad I had them come out because they did an excellent job.
