+ -1 moreDo not use Guardian for your gutter replacement!
Description of Work: I had Guardian replace the gutters, rotted boards and install leaf guards. Their product has been a nightmare! I am constantly having to secure the gutters to the house and the leaf guards pop up and bend the shingles, which pushes the gutters away from the house. Appears to be a serious design flaw. I had to call Guardian to come and fix the loose gutter/leaf guard within a week of installation. I had to call them again a few years after that about the same issue and the first thing out of their mouths was "$398" before they even looked at anything! Since then, I had damage from Hurricane Irene that required the replacement of the Guardian gutters on the back of the house. The contractor used Gutter Guys and I can't tell what a positive experience dealing with them was and how much better their product is. Knowing I was anxious to get back into the house and have the repairs completed, they came on a Sunday morning to replace the gutter. I am now contacting Gutter Guys to come and repair/replace the Guardian gutters on the front of the house.

+ -1 moreTo alleviate an overflowing gutter problem, it was determined that an upgrade in gutter size might do the trick. The covers (which cost as much as the gutter) were selected because we have a number of trees near the house. The 2 man install crew, one of whom had never done the work, arrived several days after the promised date, quickly tore down the existing gutters & slapped up the new gutters (giving little thought to grade to ensure runoff). Total time on the job about 4 hours. They arrived slightly before noon the next day to put on the covers. They were done about 2:30 PM. First rainfall, the water poured in between the gutters and the fascia. My original problem with the old gutters except now the problem was worse & in many spots not just a few. The company did respond to my complaint by putting on the correct sized gutter covers on those areas that were not sized correctly & adjusting the slope of the gutters so they weren't flat in some sections. The situation is better now.
Description of Work: Gutters and covers were installed on entire house.

+ -1 moreOUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH GUARDIAN WAS VERY POSITIVE. THE SALES PERSON WHO VISITED OUR HOME ALONG WITH THE MEN THAT DID THE WORK WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TOOK TIME TO ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS.
Description of Work: WE CONTACTED THE GUARDIAN COMPLANY FOR APPLICATION OF FACIA AND SOFFIT TO OUR ENTIRE HOUSE AND GARAGE.
