Description of Work: I had quite a few trees that needed trimming and a few that needed to be taken down. The owner, Mike, was friendly and told me that he could provide 4 or 5 guys for the whole day and complete all I wanted done for $1800.00. He also told me he just had a cancellation and could begin day after next. On the appointed day, 3 workers showed up at 930 AM. By 3:00 PM they wanted to leave and the work was only half done.

Description of Work: We hired Groundtech to reduce the height of a 70' oak tree on which a 40' climbing hydrangea grew. The hydrangea took 40 years to grow to it's mature state. Groundtech was hired to top the tree but not touch the hydrangea. When the crew arrived, they cut straight through the main roots of the hydrangea at the bottom of the tree essentially killing it. Once this happened, there was no way to save the hydrangea and the entire tree had to come down. To add further injury, when they took down the tree, they dropped the limbs instead of lowering them which resulted in huge divots in our lawn that required us to re-sod that area.

Description of Work: Had top of trees trimmed down.

Description of Work: Removed six trees, grind two tree stumps, and backfill stump holes with dirt.

Description of Work: This is the second time I've used this company. I have been extremely happy both times. Mike and his crew removed 5 large Leyland cypress trees and ground the stumps. The yard was cleaned up and you would never have known they were there, except for the missing trees. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Mike, the owner arrived promptly for the estimate appointment. I needed two large trees removed and the stumps ground. Mike came with his crew the day of work, and made sure they knew what was being done. Crew was careful and worked well together. The wood I was keeping was cut into managable size. Despite some tight conditions, flowerbeds, other trees and structures in the neighbors yard, the work was quickly and professionally completed. I would use this company again and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I had been calling several tree service companies to come out to give me an estimate and this company was the first one that actually answered the phone. The other companies I left messages and they never returned my calls. I got this companies phone number out of a neighborhood paper (Pennysaver) so I do not have the address just the phone number. I called this company at 7 pm on a Thursday nite and the owner answered the phone which actually surprised me.. I requested an estimate to have all the dead limbs taken out of a tree in my yard and to have it shaped up. Mike, the owner, came out the next morning and looked at the tree and he gave me a reasonable estime. He said his crew could come out that afternoon. I agreed with the price and we shook hands on the deal.
