Description of Work: He fixed all the minor handiman work. A loose screw here and there. He couldn't do any electrical, cut and positioned posting to a fence, caulked bathroom tub, tightened loose screw here and there.

 + -1 moreMr. John Tate is the man you want for this type of work. We have had others try to repair the areas without success. Mr. Tate's work is such that one is unable to tell there was ever a problem. He said the wood should not rot again. Others told us we needed new doors. I would definitely hire Mr. Tate again for any kind of carpentry work.
Description of Work: Repaired rotting wood on bottoms of front and back door frames. Primed frames.

Description of Work: Mr. John Tate worked on my deck. Both sides of my deck was leaning outward. It was not safe for my child to stand on it. He bought supplies and was able to repair both sides of my deck. My family feels safe not to stand on both sides of the deck. John Tate did an excellent job repairing my deck! He was also courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs deck work or work related to wood.

 + 3 moreEvery project went GREAT! See above! He has done work for of for years! All great jobs! I highly recommend LMNO Projects (John Tate) from Keymar, Maryland for all of your home improvement needs. Any of them!
Description of Work: LMNO Projects (Mr. Tate) has done NUMEROUS home improvements for us. In 2005, Mr. Tate removed and replaced our sliding glass doors with French Doors, and he removed and replaced our front door and storm door. Soon afterwards, he removed our carpet in the hallways and completely downstairs and he installed laminent hardwood flooring on our entire downstairs floor. Then he installed 5/8 hardwood tongue and groove hardwood flooring upstairs in our hallway and dining room. And, he also installed laminent hardwood flooring in our entire kitchen. Several months later, Mr. Tate installed new oak stair treads on our staircase. He had te measure each one separately and hand stain them which took several days due to the shellac needing to dry. PERFECT workmanship. In the summer on 2006, Mr. Tate was provided the blueprint drawing for an outdoor screened in porch. Mr. Tate obtained the permits and built the 12 X 16 screened in deck/porch PERFECTLY, on time and on cost. In 2010, Mr. Tate removed our pine wood decking on our 21' X 23' deck and our 12' X 16' deck and installed TREX in place of the old splintering pine. In 2011 Mr. Tate removed the stair treads and decking outside of the screened in porch he built and replaced it with TREX as well. He has come to our house to "re-attach" vinyl siding that had become dislodged during a thunderstorm as well. LMNO Projects can do ANY Home improvement project....I've seen them. Very dependable...and we are waiting to get our insurance check to have LMNO Projects to build our fence we lost during Hurricane Sandy. Mr. Tate has also built fence gates for us as well!

 + 2 moreI live in a small house with 3 bedrooms. One daughter and son still live with me. When my daughter became pregnant with twins, I knew I needed another room.LMNO Projects was able to convert the back porch space into the room I needed. It only took about a week. The wall framing went up fast. The spaces for the windows were well thought out and measured correctly. The windows went in quickly and didn't have any big gaps to fill. They are positioned so that the room can get a cross breeze. The doors are postioned so that each can be opened without banging into the other. Mr. Tate did a nice job with the dry wall work as well. He didn't need to do a lot of sanding of the spackle once it dried. The exterior of the room was sided and new softettes put on. He was fine with using the siding that had been left over from the siding job he had done for me a few years earlier. Mr. Tate is professional in his work, and courteous to his clients. He doesn't spend a lot of time making small talk, but focuses on the work he has come to do. Some days he brings his son with him to work. His son is also a very good worker, respectful of his father and courteous to clients. Mr. Tate only left the site during the work if he really needed to. Each day he left the work site picked up and neat. No nails lying about, scraps were either thrown away or placed in a pile if they were deemed usable, and the dust swept up so, it wouldn't be tracked about. The room looks great. My son likes the space. He and several of his friends can hang out, watch TV or play video games. I like that they don't need to be in the living room so the babies can play. No arguing over space. I would definitely use LMNO Projects again. Thank you Mr. Tate for a job well done.
Description of Work: LMNO Projects converted a backporch space into an additional room for our house. Mr. Tate used the existing roof. He put in 3 walls with windows on the exterior walls and 2 doors. He put siding on the outside walls and new sofettes. Once I had the electric for the room done, he came back and did all of the dry wall work.
