They do everything by hour. They were on time. I really thought they did A pretty good job.

It went great and the 3 movers (Steven, Steven, and Ed) were really good. They took really good care of all of our items, and tried to be very careful with our new floors and walls (they did leave 3 pretty noticeable gashes in the walls - but all easily fixed with a little spackle and paint). They were very professional and worked very quickly. Overall, I highly recommend them.

They were great to work with, especially when we had to reschedule. On the day they helped, they were prompt, friendly and personable. They were also really quick.

This move was our sixth in 11 years, and by FAR the smoothest. As in, I literally cannot come up with one thing that could've made this move better, from the time I contacted Suburban Solutions until the empty truck pulled out of our new driveway. I got estimates from 4 different Yelp-approved moving companies, and they were not only the most reasonable, but also the friendliest with the most prompt response. Our moving team (Thanks a TON Mark, Vlad, Mikas and Vytautus!) showed up right on schedule and were so friendly and professional. When they arrived, they asked if any of our things needed special care, then broke up into teams and wrapped EVERYTHING in plastic - I haven't found a single dent or scratch on anything, which was a first for me! I was a little unsure when researching whether it was wise to use a moving company that charged by the hour, but I shouldn't have worried - I caught them *jogging* back to the truck while unloading, and they were done well ahead of schedule - early enough that I was able to get the first few kitchen boxes unpacked in time for dinner! I've always looked towards moving day with a sort of horror, but they helped to make it SO stress-free. Next time we move, I know EXACTLY who I'm going with!

We had a fantastic experience with Suburban Solutions. Moving is so stressful and they really made it hassle free. They moved us out of our current home and assisted with setting up storage for the time being until our new home is built. My parents recently moved and used one of the large nationwide moving companies and had a horrible experience and working with Suburban Solutions was the complete opposite. The guys they sent to our house were so polite and pleasant which means so much because they are handling all your personal belongings. We look forward to them helping with the last part of our move later this year and would recommend them to anyone!

Our third experience with Suburban Solutions. We had to delay this particular move several times due to closing issues. Each time, Suburban Solutions cheerfully rescheduled right on the dates we requested; no bargaining for available dates. Movers were polite (introduced themselves immediately), punctual and impressively efficient. We had them move all large items as well as about 30 large boxes from our three bedroom home to another, filling up 1 medium truck and some of a smaller truck. They even moved things I had planned on moving my own, because they were making progress so quickly, saving me the headache and backache. Time and thus cost came in below their original estimates. Only one item was inconsequentially damaged, which was a twin bed made of particle board and thus not exactly durable to begin with. If you are the owner of a large safe, however, consider a separate, specialized mover. They weren't entirely sure how to approach getting it into the basement of our new home, and while they were successful, I think I put them in an uncomfortable spot, and the safe sustained a few scratches. I bought the thing to protect the contents, not as a showpiece, so I wasn't bothered, but something for a future customer to consider. Also as a side note, if you grossly underestimate your household goods in the manifest, you are likely to be dissatisfied with any moving company, because they won't have the information to be properly prepared. In any event, Suburban Solutions will continue to be our movers of choice and a company we readily recommend to our friends.

Moving made easy! Crew of five, led by Alex, arrived on time. Packed the house and loaded the truck in 3.5 hours! Arrived on time the next day to unload, again with a crew of five. Unloading complete in 1.5 hours! Crew packed about 30 boxes (including the kitchen and garage) and loaded a total of about 75 boxes. Crews were professional and extremely polite. Never took a break. Estimate was provided on information provided in an email, which was important to me as I was not living at the home to be moved at the time of the estimate. Fixed rate for move was honored and the cost for packing and supplies came in way under the estimate. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat to anyone needing to move.

Suburban Solutions got to me about 10 minutes early which was was nice. They started taking out my boxes first of which I had about 34 of them. I think it took them about 30 minutes to do that. They came back up and started wrapping my furniture for protection during the move (nothing was damaged during the move). When they got to my new location, they proceeded to bring everything upstairs and asked me where they wanted (including the boxes) everything placed. After performing the actual move and placement of all my belongings, I inspected everything while they were still there and everything looked great. They were not only professional but also very friendly and very respectful. I would whole heartedly recommend them and continue to use them in the future. For your information: the whole moving experience from start to finish took only 3 hours and 10 minutes.

It was a shock when I realized that I no longer had friends young and healthy enough to move furniture! After it sunk in I was happy to find a firm that would give me the heavy lifting and make me feel comfortable that I didn't have to supervise. Danny and Lawrence (LT) were like finding and quot;professional family membersand quot; who made me very comfortable that they understood and could handle the move without my constant attention and work. They moved 7 pieces of furniture out of the basement, packed 30feet of shelf space and moved those boxes plus storage bins (10) up from the basement through the backyard to the garage. They charge $120 an hour for a two man crew looked reasonable on the other end of a job so well done. I am such a happy camper! I would definitely recommend Suburban Solutions assuming Danny and LT are representative of the rest of the employees.

Shortly after submitting a quote on their website, Brian Fitzgerald from Suburban Solutions contacted us with an estimate. We ended up selecting Suburban Solutions for our move, and we were happy that we did. Matt and Lawrence from Suburban Solutions did our move. They did a great job and were very careful with our possessions. They were very efficient and got us out of our apartment and into our house very quickly. Matt and Lawrence were fantastic! We couldn't have been happier with Suburban Solutions and would strongly recommend them to our friends and neighbors!

The move was great. They were very punctual and professional. They contacted me as they were driving down from NY to let me know about when they'd arrive in Virginia. Overall it was great. I had no problems working with them. Everything arrived in one piece.

The movers were very friendly and nice. There were a little late showing up to the home. They were very slow and they were not gentle with our things. There were a lot of nicks and scratches on our newly constructed home. There were three movers and one of the movers sat in the car because his back hurt. It ended up taking 9 hours and it was a 2 bedroom one bathroom condo so we did not have a lot of stuff to move.

Very responsive and flexible on time. I recommend pre packing and carefully supervising as they do not seem to be experienced packers. Also broke wheel off my grill and said couldn't fix it. They gave me a small credit. However, they are easy to work with and do their best to accommodate your needs.

I have called and set up the move with the company he suggested and so far am very satisfied with the professionalism of both companies.

Brian (the owner) was great to deal with on the phone. The only difference is that, unlike other movers, they mostly rely on online submission of items for their moving quote. So, it was on us to provide a detailed and accurate list of items that we wanted moved. For context, we moved from a 1,121 sq.ft. apartment to a 721 sq. ft apartment (needless to say, we got rid of A LOT of stuff). The packing and moving crews had the same crew leader, so we had some continuity in staff, which was nice. There was a minor billing error, but Brian cleared it up promptly. They're slightly more expensive than the competitor, but well worth the money. Overall, this is one of the best moving services we've used.

Great movers! Not the cheapest quote I got but not the most expensive either. The most recent move was from a 2 bd apartment to a single family home. They sent a 4 man crew of very polite college boys who finished the whole move in 4 hours. They did a good job protecting the furniture and taking apart and reassembling an ikea trundle bed. They only negative was communication they day before the move. They didn't call until 9:30 pm so I had started to think they weren't coming.

This company is just amazing in a pinch. I went to an estate sale the day before Memorial Day and bought a sofa, love seat and table and had to get it moved Memorial Day. I got someone on their phone at 9 PM on Sunday and they lined up a team to move me on Memorial Day at 12:30 and they showed upon time. The move was very difficult since I live in a townhouse with very narrow stairways. They had to get the sofa on top of their truck, move it through my deck and take doors off to my deck to get it into my house. They put everything back the way it was and did no damage to anything in my home. They wrapped everything not only in pads but also with plastic wrap to make it secure.

Each time my estimate was offered quickly, the workers arrived punctually on the day of service and they work quickly and efficiently. I have used them for moving twice and junk removal 1x. They are saved on speed dial in my phone. Seriously. Highly recommended. I will use this company again and again as they offer many services. I can't say enough good things about Suburban Solutions.

Outstanding moving company! We were researching moving companies and received a few estimates, , we had already decided on Suburban Solutions even before we received all the estimates after the quick response we received from Brian Fitzgerald. Brian sent a very detailed estimate for both packing and moving services and even suggested the RePax system. We decided to just do the packing ourselves, but did use the RePax crates which were a lifesaver! We got a week free going with RePax and Suburban Solutions. We had a 4 man moving crew and within minutes of them arriving and showing them around they were off. It was amazing how quickly they had everything packed up. We had 50 RePax crates and probably close to another 20 bins/boxes, two living room sets, a bedroom set, dining room table, a few bookcases and shelves and several other miscellaneous items. They carefully wrapped all the furniture and took apart tables, removed legs from couches, removed a door to get a sectional out and put the door back up. We were all packed in 2 hours. Our new home is a 4 level townhome (LOTS OF STAIRS), but we never heard a peep or a gripe from anyone, they all had great attitudes and just made the move fun. Before leaving they un-wrapped all the furniture made sure everything was in the correct room and put all the furniture back together and put all the legs back on the couches, nothing damaged. Daniel and his crew did an amazing job! They were all done in 4.5 hours, I couldn't believe I still had the afternoon left to start unpacking! I would highly recommend Suburban Solutions.

I submitted a request online via their website and Brian responded via email with a quote price. Their price was on par with other companies, but since they had excellent reviews on Yelp! and Google, I decided to go with them instead of other junk removal companies. I prefer communication via text message and emails instead of phone, and they were cool with that. The labor guys arrived about 10 minutes early, which was great because it gave me time to walk them through what needed to be hauled away. They were careful not to damage the wood floor and corners. They were fast and efficient with hauling away the old furniture. From the time they started to when they left the property took about 30 minutes. I notice 2 things that annoyed me but didn't degrade the the service they provided, one of the labor guy reeked of strong alcohol (he wasn't drunk, but you could tell he had drank a lot the night before) and I felt that the invoice price was a bit higher than the actual amount of junk they hauled away (based on the square footage the hauled away material consumed it should have been about $180 instead of the quote estimate of $205; I included a $30 tip to be split between the 2 of them equally).

This is a terrific company and Brian is phenomenal at working the schedule and estimating. I have used them twice and both times they have been reasonable and they have accommodated my panic schedule. The crews have been very friendly, professional and extremely efficient. Today's hauling was so incredible. The crew--Jose, PJ, Lawrence, Shane and Brian--called several times to let me know their ETA, arrived on time, and they were wonderful, efficient, and very careful. I'm still shaking my head in amazement at how quickly they were able to complete the job and how reasonable their price. It was the same way on my previous move. I highly recommend this company to anyone with moving or hauling needs.

I had a horrible expereince with a different moving company last year so of course I was nervous about the move, however Suburban Solutions exceeded my expectations, they were fast, affordable, and efficient, and professional. We were moving from DC to MD, so we contacted several moving companies. Our last move (from MD to DC) went ok, however, we did not want to pack up this time, we decided to go with a full service move this time. We contact Brian to get an estimate and he provided the most detailed estimate I have ever seen for moving! On the pack day, the team was a little late, but they made up for it during the packing process. They brought all the supplies they needed and finished packing up everything in under 3 hours. They cleaned up everything and moved the boxes to that we would have some room to move around since we were spending one last night at our DC apt. On the move day, they showed up right on time and immediately started taking everything down. The really nice thing was 2 of the same packers from the day before came to the move day, so they were already familiar with my apt, which I think makes a huge difference. There were a few items which we did not have them pack the night before and they came prepared to pack that stuff up on the move day, which was really nice (and even used the boxes i had found to save a little money on packing supplies). For our furniture, they wrapped everything up with blankets and industrial wrap. The estimate had said 4-6 hours for the move, however, they ran into some trouble with our bed and then just the sheer volume of stuff we had ended up taking 6 hours for just the loading of the truck. When they got to the new house, they started unloading right away and were great as they would ask where we wanted certain items before they placed it down, saving us from picking it up again to move it to the correct room. After another 2 hours of unloading, they unloaded the last box...a total of 8 hours and they all had still had smiles on their faces...amazing!!!! I would highly recommend them for another pack and move!
