Description of Work: We called with concerns about a tree in our front yard that was showing yellow and black leaves and had some dead branches. They sent their arborist out to take a look and contacted us afterwards to say that the problem was due to excessive shade provided by other trees and indicated there was nothing to be done unless we chose to take other trees down. There was no charge for the arborist's visit or professional opinion.,

Description of Work: I called Mulheron Tree Experts on the recomendation of a friend after Sandy blew a huge tree over in my back yard. Ed Mulheron showed up as scheduled and promptly gave me a written estimate. The crew showed up as shceduled with all the right equipment. They protected my driveway and yard from further damage, removed the tree, removed the huge root ball and stump, re-seeded the yard and left my property in excellent condition. Very prompt and professional... which is a lot more than I can say about some of the crews from other companys working in my neighbors yards. By comparrison Mulheron's crews and equipment were obviously better organized, newer and professional. BTW they removed a huge tree that fell on my friend's Chevy Chase home and he highly recomended them to me. I will definately call Mulheron the next time I need any sort of tree work.

Description of Work: I give them an "excellent" for customer service. I had a large tree limb fall in my yard and knock down a part of my fence. I called the service and told them I neede the limb removed as soon as possible since I have a large dog that runs in the yard and I would not be able to let him out until the fence was fixed. To my surprise they sent someone out within a couple of hours and gave me an estimate. Even though they could not do the job right away they sent someone that afternoon to cut the part of the limb on my fence and fixed the fence where it was knocked down. (I was very grateful for that). They returned at a later date to take care of the tree and I also had them take down another old tree in my yard. They were courteous, prompt and did a great job. Description of Work: I called Mulheron based on all the great reviews on Angies list on June 26th to get an estimate for a tree in my front yard that needs some dead branches cut off. I was told an estimator would go out and look at the tree and get back to me. I have called twice more since then and on both occasions I was told an estimator has not yet been out to look at the tree. It is now a month later and my patience is at an end. I am very disappointed that Mulheron did not bother to call me with any explanation at all (i.e. we are busy from the recent storm, someone is out sick/vacation....nothing). I hope their service is not based on type of job.Bob

Description of Work: I love Mulheron Tree Company. They gave me advise on my rights as an homeowner and did an amazing job. We hired them 2 years ago and had a tree removed that was in an enclosed space. It was only feet from the house and the fence. They have now removed 3 tress since we moved here 3 years ago. Thank you so much for Mulheron Tree Company. Professional and did an amazing clean up.

Description of Work: Mulheron was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. They were courteous, responsive and professional through the process of quoting/arranging an appointment and on the day of service they showed up half an hour early. We needed a very large, dead oak tree in a precarious spot removed. They brought in an enormous crane and lifted the tree out bit by bit over two houses skillfully and efficiently with no mishaps. The men who actually worked in the tree were obviously highly skilled and worked well in tandem with the crane operator. They honored my request to save some of the wood for firewood and even cut it into small pieces for me. They even removed two of my neighbor's smaller trees while they were at it! When they were finished, they had a quick and efficient truck with a crane come by and haul away the large pieces, then they cleaned the street and yards nearby that were affected. All in all it was a very positive experience and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Description of Work: Phenomenal company. Not just the lowest bid but sent their men out the next day to do the job ON A DAY THE USUALLY DON'T WORK because the tree had started to lean. A plus!

Description of Work: Mulheron Tree Experts were very good at the the work asked of them and being very patient with some last minute changes I made. They were able to raise the tree canopy above the roof line without any problem to help with my home renovation. They were instrumental in making the whole project go smoothly. Mulheron does provide service within Washington, DC.

Description of Work: Trimming of all branches over roof line and all dead limbs on huge oak tree as well as a cherry tree and poplar. Pruning and shaping cypress trees and bradford pear.
