Mic's Moving

Horrible. Neighbor engaged this company to move into our building and I ultimately had to call the police on them as they assaulted a tenant. The movers blocked the stairway and when a request was made to move the items blocking the stairwell (the only way to enter / exit the property) one of the movers decided he was going to act like a wild animal and assault the tenant. Then, like all wild animals, his "moving buddy" heard the commotion and joined in the altercation pinning the tenant in the corner. We all have bad days but this was extreme aggressive behavior. Its unacceptable to have animals like this representing any company. Not to mention, they broke my neighbors couch which cost them $400 to have repaired. So, if you respect your furniture and neighbors, stay away, stay far away!

After receiving an estimate through Mic's website, Mic was in contact by email and phone. We preferred to box our own belongings (savings for us). The crew took great care to prepare furniture for the move. The crew worked extremely well together and were friendly, polite, and worked non-stop from the beginning to end of the move - got the job done in the scheduled amount of time (savings for us). We would definitely recommend.

Fantastic service from start to finish. They promptly responded to my Angie's List inquiry, provided pricing information up front and were able to schedule within a few days. Service was friendly and professional. They also called on the delivery day with an estimated time of arrival at both pickup and drop-off locations. Furniture was wrapped and protected well and they unwrapped everything before they left.

I was extremely satisfied with the experience. The scheduling was all done on-line and was very easy. I provided a good bit of detail as to what I needed moved, and I received an accurate price estimate. The three movers showed up on time and were very professional and efficient, and they were very careful with my things. I had all boxes packed, so they moved all the boxes and disassembled and reassembled my furniture. The entire process took only 3 1/2 hours, including transit time. The movers were Kevin C.. Ezra C., and Marcus. They were fantastic. I had no loss and no damage. Moving is very stressful, but this crew did a great job and made it as easy as possible.

They were speedy, professional and respectful of my "stuff". I will definitely hire them again.

Two items were stolen and several others were lost or stolen, including a sterling silver cup.

We had a fabulous experience in every way with Mic's Moving. Really could not have asked for anything better. Very highly recommended. Use these guys for your next move!! They do local moves in the greater Washington DC area and also long distance moves. Outstanding service and value. Professional, courteous, careful, prompt and entirely trustworthy. That 's not so easy to find in the moving world, as you will learn when you begin to read reviews. 5 plus stars for this company.

They were very professional and fast. They needed additional hands on deck at some point to complete the move faster to move on to another appointment, and they did not come up with surprise additional fees or anything. They were great.

This move went very smoothly. The guys were extremely polite and professional. They completed the job within the estimated time period, despite some hiccups outside anyone's control. They also went out of their way to provide outstanding customer service.

Mic's did a great job - Isaac led the team and he was a pleasure to work with during a stressful time. They were very flexible with us when we rescheduled not once but twice with little notice. They took care of our things and wrapped everything up nice and safe. They also dis-assembled and then re-assembled a waterbed, which saved us from having to hire someone else to do it. We had one item damaged which they took responsibility for promptly without issue.

I hired Mic's Movers this past weekend to move a one bedroom to another just 2 miles away. Everything was well packed and all furniture taken apart before they arrived (I've moved too many times in my life to count, so know how to make things easier), so they were able to get right down to it. The team was headed by Brandon who stayed for the most part in the apartment diligently wrapping furniture, checking with me as to what boxes were fragile, and organizing the order of how things went down to the truck for ease of load and removal. Two others continuously went up and down the elevator with my stuff. Everyone was super hard working, incredibly conscientious to not bang anything against wall or what not, and over all, very good humored despite a hot summer day. I've moved a lot, mostly by myself, but had gotten to the point where I just could haul everything anymore. Brandon and crew made the experience much more pleasant than it can be and I'd highly recommend them. I had originally hired Mic's bc a previous moving company a friend had recommended wasn't available. But Mic's quote was within the same range as the other quotes I got, and due to good reviews on Yelp, I thought I'd give them a try. I was not disappointed. As expressed elsewhere, they were very professional, arriving promptly at 9 am and were slowed only by the speed of the elevator in both buildings. Brandon looked right at the clock when they started and did so again when they ended, counting exactly the rate and not trying to add time or anything like that. Everything arrived in the condition that it had left. And they were nice enough to put the furniture and such exactly as I requested. All in all, as minimal stress as a move can be. Hopefully I won't be moving again any time soon, but would definitely give them a call if I needed movers. On a side note, Mic is very responsive via email, giving a quick turn around on the estimate and thereafter when I requested contact info for the movers themselves.

Mic and his colleague were excellent! He listened to me on the phone, answered all of my questions and was very respectful. The day of, they showed up on time and moved very quickly. Everything arrived safely and they happily put everything in the room I asked them to. I can't say enough about how great these guys were. I would definitely use them again.
