Mr. Lyons, came on time, First call. Ans was very efficient. He answered some un-related questions about plumbing cheerfully.

Mr Lyons was on vacation when I made the initial contact, but he promptly returned my call and said he would contact me when he returned on 8/12. He did exactly as he said he would, calling on the 12th to establish a time for a visit on the 13th. He showed up as promised and changed out our leaking aged heater, working quickly and professionally. In fact, he showed up 40 minutes earlier than scheduled, quite a bit on the early morning side - about 6:20, my only complaint.

Steve Lyons is very professional, knowledgeable, punctual and pleasant. I gave them a B on cost, however, since $152 seemed a bit high for 20 minutes of work. But then, I I'm not up-to-date on plumber charges, so... Also, they don't give you an arrival time until 1-2 days beforehand, which makes it difficult to plan the day a week ahead.

They are very good and very experienced. They are also very reliable. He is very pleasant and knows what he is doing.

I have nothing but the very best to say about this company. I started using them a few years ago and they are courteous, on time, they know their business and are extremely fair and pleasant to work with. I am always pleased to see either Steve or one of his sons. I always seem to call them as a result of some disaster in my home, but each time they calm me down and fix the problem, from changing the washer in a tap to replacing a whole water heater or diagnosing why there was a flood in my basement and calling the right authority - in this case WSSC. Thanks Steve!

We had a leak in our ceiling from a shower/bathroom above. I emailed the company on Sunday and the same day got an e-mail back regarding the scheduling. He couldn't fit us in until Thursday, which was OK with us. Our appointment window was confirmed Wednesday afternoon. The window we were given was 8 - 10:30 am. He was at our house at 8 am on the dot. Steve is the consummate professional, courteous, and efficient. He diagnosed the leak problem and gave a us referral to get the tiles fixed. He fixed a leaking toilet and replaced the cartridge in a shower handle. The handle was a bit problematic but he worked it out and got everything done in about an hour's time. I highly recommend his services!

He did a good job but he is expensive. I haven't contacted any other plumbers and compared the price. I have no objections with the quality of his work.

The work was great. They came in and took about 30 minutes to fix it and there was minimal damage to the wall. They fixed the pipe. Their price seemed reasonable to me. I would absolutely use them again.

Steve arrived on time - within the window he said he'd arrive when he spoke with my husband last night. Steve immediately began work and was very kind about the stuff in the garage that needed to be moved before he was able to start work. Steve proposed a really neat solution to keep the problem from recurring. Steve also looked at another issue we have with a leaking filter...we plan to call Steve back to install some new sink hardware and we'll probably have him take care of the filter leak, too. We've used Steve Lyons and Sons before and will definitely use them again.

He's done a very good job for me. I've had other terrible companies before.

We called Lyons plumbing for what we thought was a simple fix. Our shower was leaking. We had the correct replacement part (the valve cartridge). Unfortunately, we couldn't get the old one out. Lyons (the son) arrived on time and had a special tool to get the old cartridge out. Unfortunately, it had basically sealed itself to the diverter. After quite a bit of wrangling, half the cartridge came out. This was a bit of a problem since the shower could not be turned off now. Since we didn't have a new shower diverter, Lyons removed the old diverter and temporarily capped the pipes. To do this, he had to open up a wall in our linen closet. We purchased the new shower diverter and Lyons returned the next day to install it. The installation seemed to go fine. We have a couple of complaints. First, the new diverter seems to jump between hot and cold. I doubt this is anything that Lyons did and is more likely a problem with the product itself. Second, the hole in the linen closet wall was crudely made--it was ripped open rather than cut out. This created some extra dust and dirt in the closet that Lyons didn't clean before finishing. Lyons also fixed a hose bib that was leaking. The seal was old. Lyons had the part with him and replaced it within a couple of minutes.

Very well. I had used the company (a family-owned business) before and requested estimates via email. Laurie was very helpful in answering my questions. Steve came on time and finished in under an hour. I did notice that he didn't put a drop cloth down on my floor (it was raining that day), but didn't mention it since I planned to refinish my floor (hallway). I'm sure it was an aberrration on his part. A very easy and painless experience.

Everything went great. I had his number from a job that he had performed about nine years ago. I was very happy with him then, so I called him again for this job.

They are good. Their prices are a little high but the quality is excellent and Mr. Lyons is excellent to deal with. They were very responsive and very friendly. They did the job right the first time.

We emailed on Sunday night asking for an appointment on Tuesday morning. The company responded first thing Monday and set up a time for 7-9 am. Mr. Lyons showed up at 7:00 a.m. sharp. He looked at the one project we were thinking about, and advised us not to do it, even though it would have meant more business for him. From there, he moved to the drain and had it cleared very quickly. He even took the time to show us what to do with the drain before we call a plumber so that we don't end up calling unnecessarily in the future. All in all, a great experience. We've found a plumber for our new home.

Stephen Lyons was exceptional because they were the only company that responded to us and would come out right away considering we had water pouring into our house. They were very professional and had great service. We like Stephen Lyons because they are very reasonably priced.

Within two hours of contacting them, someone was at our home to complete the job. Mr. Lyons was very knowledgeable and completed the job quickly. We thought the cost of the repair to be extremely fair. We would highly recommend his company to anyone. If needed we would use them again.

We have used Mr. Lyons several times under similar circumstances, as we live in a older home with copper water pipes. Lyons and sons have been reliable, honest, and done quality work for us over the last several years and we would highlyrecommend them

I called them for a slow drainage issue. I appreciated that they had an appropriate pipe and disposal already in their vehicle and their calm professional way that the plumber performed his work. I plan to use them for all of my plumbing needs. I have used them twice and both of my experiences were excellent.

I called them Monday morning, and received a phone call with an estimate of the service I guessed I needed (snake drain cleaning) and an appointment for Tuesday morning at 7:00 am. He arrived promptly, brought in his tools, and was finished in under 20 minutes. Everything was clean, friendly, and professional. Would recommend to anyone looking for a plumber near Damascus!

We have used Steve three times this year, and have had a great experience with him every time. He is very flexible in terms of scheduling, and always makes time to fit us in (even though we are relatively new customers for him). He always gives us great advice, and has saved us money several times. We would enthusiastically recommend him to everyone.

On this visit, Son, Mike came right on time, fixed the toilets, cleared the drains, and then went to check out the old tub faucet running HOT WATER! Since it may still be a while before that renovation, I pleaded with him to do SOMETHING! He DID-HE FIXED IT!! I know he took a risk that the old parts might break, but HE FIXED IT!! I am eternally grateful!! Even NOW-more than a month after the repairs were done, everything is GREAT!

Excellent job from the phone contact for the appointment to the completed work. Steve guarantees that the leak is gone. I have used him before and he stands behind his work. I will use him again.
