JVF completely remodeled our basement, including all new flooring, an all-new, large master bathroom with AMAZING tiling, master bedroom, walk-in closet, living area, and stairs. It's so nice my wife and I may just move down there! A couple of minor hurdles along the way, but in the end Jose more than made up for those. 10/10 would use him again.

We decided to overhaul our master bathroom and got bids from 4 contractors. I chose the top 2 from another consumer rating service and then another from a friend's recommendation and then I interviewed Jose who has top ratings on Home Advisor. All were pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Jose impressed us with his personality and experience. Immediately we noticed his great communication skills which we took full advantage of while he remodeled our bathroom. His estimate was far below the other 3 estimates so we went with Jose. We surmise that part of the reason for the lower estimate is that Jose and Juan (his skilled craftsman) do all of the work along with a man who does tile work) . So his overhead is much, much less than his competitors. Before the project started we met to discuss safety rules in light of the COVID-19 virus. We agreed that Jose and his men would always wear a face mask and gloves and that we and they would maintain a safe clear distance from each other. We had an amazing time watching Jose create our new bathroom. The completely renovated bathroom exceeded our lofty expectations. Our bathroom is much larger than average. He was always available to us by phone, email or text. We were responsible for purchasing the bathroom fixtures and much of the hardware. Jose recommended that we consider Wayfair because they have many products and good pricing. But before I ordered anything I first checked with Jose. On a few instances he pointed something out that I had not considered and then opted to select another product. He also made a few suggestions to make the bathroom more functional and enjoyable. For instance, he said he could build a larger 6-foot shower with more depth, and he recommended recessed lighting and medicine cabinets with lighting so that vanity lights would not be necessary. While working on the project Jose always sought our input on anything that involved discretion. His favorite expression is that his job was to provide a custom-built bathroom for us. He stressed that his sole goal was to produce that bathroom of our dreams. At the end of the work day the men cleaned up the work site before leaving. Sometimes after his 2 men left Jose would show us the progress made. After the remodeling was finished we had a completely new bathroom with a pantry that houses a stacked washer/dryer and shelving; a beautiful big shower with a rainshower head coming out of the ceiling and big bench with separate pole and shower wand; a 6-foot vanity and a bidet on the toilet and sleek recessed white lighting and extra outlets. His tile man did a wonderful job of installing the floor tile, shower wall and seat tile, tile for 2 niches and shower floor tile. It was quite a challenge because we selected tiles of different shapes and sizes. We are in our 60s and plan to age in place. So we asked Jose to make the bathroom accessible. He did just that: -- no curb on the shower; no curb from the bedroom to the bathroom. And we chose a sliding shower door with a very wide opening. He also installed 3 grab bars (2 in the shower and 1 next to the toilet). From start to end Jose and his men worked very hard -- early start each day and worked a full day. In fact, Jose asked if they could work on a couple of Saturdays. Before leaving on the last day of the project they cleaned up our bedroom so that it was cleaner than it was before the work started. Jose completed our bathroom remodel in 2 weeks. Apart from the bathroom contract Jose did a couple of other jobs for us while they were here. I give Jose the highest recommendation. Very high quality work and best price by far. Cannot beat that combination!

Jose is a talented, professional who selected an amazing team to remodel my dated bathroom. The new bathroom is the grandest room in my entire house that l am now challenged to redo the whole house. Thank you so much Jose for your guidance in material selection, completing the job on schedule and cleaning after yourselves daily. Jose and his team are incredible. They show up on time, and donâ t leave until the job is done, and done to a superior quality. Jose consistently used his years of experience to do what is best for me and the project. That included removing the old subfloor that was too deteriorated after removing the tile at no extra cost. He will go out of his way to give his clients the best product possible no matter what that means for his bottom line. He provided me with design insight on my choice of using black grout in the shower and told me about his experience using it in his own home and how it didnâ t age to a standard he approved of. Because of his insight and photos he sent me, I changed my design to white grout and it turned out to be the absolute right decision. The quality of finish work and added in touches Jose includes in his work like custom marble sills in the shower and window, and a custom shelf in the shower are incredible. Highly recommend working with Jose and Iâ m looking for a reason to have him do another project in my home.

Very professional and gave great recommendations (e.g; very honest when he suggested I paint moulding and laundry chute white instead of the color I wanted)... the results were amazing. He also suggested a dimmer on light over freestanding tub.

I ve worked with a lot of contractors over the years and Jose and his team are by far, the most honest, hard-working contractors I ve ever met. I trusted them 100% to give me the bathrooms of my dreams and they went above and beyond! I gave them the designs and Pinterest boards I had been obsessing about and they brought my dream to life! My bathrooms LITERALLY look like something you d see on a Pinterest board or a magazine. I ve received SO many compliments from friends and family who say they want to come over and enjoy my beautiful soaking tub in our stunning master bath or our amazing shower system in our beautiful guest bathroom. It really looks even better than I could have imagined. I LOVE looking at them. Literally, I ll just stare at my bathrooms sometimes and get giddy because I m so happy they re mine hahaa! If you re looking to hire someone...Jose is one of the friendliest humans I ve ever met and is so extremely easy to talk to that it feels like an old friend has come over and you guys are just catching up on life. His team is friendly, skilled and determined to finish the job by deadline so you can enjoy their beautiful work. From the planning to the demo to the rebuilding + design of our bathrooms, they made the process so easy and I didn t have to stress about anything. The company is extremely fair in their pricing and scheduling and always made the effort to work around our schedules if we ever needed to meet or do walkthroughs. I felt so comfortable leaving my home in their hands when we d go off to work. They always cleaned up after themselves and were so extremely respectful to our new home, and a plus, they were so friendly to our pet bird who absolutely loved seeing them! If we ever decide to build an additional bathroom, I hope to work with JVF Construction again. If you re interested in redoing a bathroom or other design work, don t hesitate and REACH OUT. Jose is awesome to work with. Extremely polite, honest, and hardworking. He is more interested in providing you a quality product at the end than making a quick buck. Honestly it was refreshing after some of the initial work scopes we got. The work he did was overwhelmingly superb. Jose communicated well with us throughout the entire project. We were never surprised when the crew was coming, what they were working on, and what decisions he needed from us. Cannot recommend them enough. They are now my default go to company for all future projects. I will absolutely hire them again.

My project included a remodeled bathroom and some changes to the kitchen ceiling to allow installation of a range hood. The latter was tricky because it is suspended from the ceiling over a peninsula. JVF took the time to understand what I needed to do, made very good suggestions about how to achieve it, and stuck with me when my first plan didn t work out. These guys deliver.

JVF guys are professional and punctual in managing the whole project. They completed work in time, helped pick up materials from home depot and managed the work independently with regular updates on progress made, any challenges and potential or actual resolution to keep things moving. Jose was extremely easy to work with, he was communicative about the work schedule and any changes to it (including sending photos daily) and helpful with suggestions for choosing fixtures when we had questions. Work was completed in a timely manner. The bathroom turned out beautiful and he truly cares about the quality of his work. We would hire JVF again for any future work needed in our home.

I was introduced to Jose through a referral and It was an absolute pleasure hiring him. Jose took a thorough look at the project and showed me all the issues that were there as the bathroom was an utter mess when I bought the house. Jose also suggested some ideas and showed me pictures from previous jobs that made the project even better. The floorboards were removed and once that was done, we saw that the old metal pipes were not good and while other contractors would have probably up-charged me to get those redone, Jose simply charged me for the materials and completed all the work. I was pleasantly surprised at how open and honest he was throughout the entire remodel process. When the bathrooms were completed, the difference was even better than night and day! Every person who has seen the new bathrooms have been absolutely impressed at the great work done! Jose and his team also did some additional patching and drywall work throughout the house and again top notch quality. I would highly recommend Jose for any remodel work and especially for bathroom remodel.

Jose upgraded and remodeled an old half bath to a full bath. His team completed it within the time frame and budget specified, and the finished remodel looked even better than my vision. Truly a professional with an eye for the best result, would hire every time!

Jose completed 4 bathrooms in my house. He completely redid 2 bathrooms from scratch, turned a half bathroom to a full, and built a new bathroom in the basement. He always had helpful ideas and listened to my ideas as well. A real joy to work with. He actually came on the weekends a few times to help finish the project earlier than we had planned. He did an amazing job!
