Helix Moving and Storage

They had a scheduling error and called us the day prior to move to the following day. No big deal for us but could’ve been for others. Their main company is out of the east coast (Maryland I think?) so that’s the bulk of their business. From what I gathered it’s just one crew in other areas. This made it difficult when communicating as we would call and the information wouldn’t get passed along. On actual move day the movers were careless with items and ended up breaking a cabinet which was a family heirloom. It almost went through the large front window as it fell. We supplied extra moving blankets to assist and they ended up taking the majority of them. When unloading they haphazardly put things down not listening to where we wanted things to go. Overall more stress and we wish we would’ve went with someone else.

A bit of a rocky start but they pulled through in the end. Be sure you follow up with them after signing the estimate because they don’t with you which surprised me. They gave me a fair price and got the job done so I’m happy.

Move over, David Copperfield. Jorge and Elvin made an entire apartment full of stuff disappear like magic -- and it wasn't an illusion, it was real! They are total pros. I was very impressed with their organization and efficiency. They were fast, but careful. All the furniture was wrapped well. I had underestimated the number of boxes and forgot a piece of furniture or two, but Jorge was very clear in explaining how that increased the cubic footage/cost, and the $ difference did not amount to much. FYI this was a move from Pittsburgh to storage in DC. Arranging the move in advance was very smooth as well thanks to Peter. Five stars all the way!

Really good communication from Masha and sales team. Best base price for of all quotes I received for out of state move. Workers busted their a**** and did a good job on both ends. -1 for late delivery and some high costs on the materials side at pick-up. Would recommend.

This was by far the best move (DC to ATL) I've experienced. Pricing was fair, communications with Peter and Masha was constant and i could always reach them. And Srecko and Rolando a heaven sent!!! Fast, kind and so helpful. The skills of this group really set the bar!
