In 1966 John & Berk Davis started Davis & Davis Air Conditioning & Heating with the hopes that someday having a well known and respected HVAC company. Today with over 25,000 yearly customers and receiving high marks from local consumer agency's we are celebrating over fifty years of serving families like yours. Our business, showroom and over thirty-two employees is located in Kensington, MD and we are available seven days a week from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM for your heating and air conditioning needs. We offer pre-scheduled service calls for weekends and evenings and have a 24 hours answering service for your convenience. Description of Work: They designed and installed a complete heating/AC system and moved the AC to the opposite side of the house. The sales rep quoted a system that was not only within our needs but also within our means. We purchased a Lennox system because that was our previous system, and we were extremely satisfied with it. We had quotes from 2 other companies which recommended much more extravagant systems and, therefore, were way out of the ballpark. Davis & Davis also made sure that we got all the rebates available from the manufacturer as well as Pepco and the gas company - none of which were mentioned by the other two quotes. The installers were always on time and were professional, friendly, and accommodating.

Description of Work: Replaced furnace and air conditioner. Installed humidifier on furnace. They did a great job. There were a couple of minor issues afterwards, and company sent out someone right away to deal with the issues.

Description of Work: First visit replaced circuit board for HVAC. A second visit replaced the blower motor. I picked them because of their high rating on Angie's list and the fact they were able to come the same day as I called. I use a different company but their next apt was a week away.
